Isiah Thomas says Mark Price was among his toughest opponents too. Mark Price is forgotten mostly, but the dude was a savage

@Luke Wise Kyrie is a fantastic talent. And he's overrated

@Luke Wise insults now? Tf? Are u a child?
How good is a guy if he don't play? What's he done without LeBron? Think the earth is flat. That's his biggest contribution

@Yizzie Clips Price pretty much invented the way most point guards play in today's game. He literally was the first volume 3pt shooter that shot over 40%, he was the first to set up the pick and roll at the 3pt line and with that he invented the split which kyrie, Curry uses all the time now. Without Price the 1 probably be played a lot different and is why you might hear by pretty much anyone that he was way ahead of his time.

@Yizzie Clips Kyrie can give 60 to damn near everyone lol.
But at the other hand Mark would have given the business too

Not athletic? Cause he's white? At any given time Price was the quickest, fastest guy in the court and had insane strength for a dude barely 6 foot.
Not athletic? You lost me on that one.

True. Mark Price's off ball action combined with his shooting ability made him an insane threat.

He lost me too. Sure, he didn't dunk, but he, Bogues, Thomas, and Kevin Johnson were the fastest guards in the league. You couldn't be unathletic and play point guard in the league.

He said “not the most athletically gifted.” He didn’t say he doesn’t have athleticism at all…

@GabrielHarris-bp8zs and that's only ever said about white dudes. He faster than Isiah. Ain't ever heard anybody saying that about him.

If only he wasn’t in such a small market as Cleveland, he’d be more regarded by the general public. People who played against him always give him his props, tho. He’s one of them.

It wasn't so much Cleveland being the problem... he just didn't have much help or a supporting cast.

@shanenolan085 It's more MJ and the Bulls then the Cavs or Cleveland. Even Bull fans will tell you that.

@@shanenolan085 Brad Daugherty was a 20/10 center, Larry Nance, Ron Harper, Craig Ehlo, Hot Rod Williams. Those Cavs teams routinely had 5 players averaging double digits. The help was there. They were the team that was supposed to take the torch from the Pistons. Then Jordan happened...

Terry Porter, too. Even Walton or Clyde didn't really get the pub they deserved.
