n 1974 Larry Bird was my P.E assistant when I was in the 8th grade and he was a senior at Springs Valley High School in French Lick, Indiana. At the beginning of each P.E. class we always ran 10 warmup laps around the gym. One day, a trampoline was set up on the basketball court and there was Larry Bird bouncing on it. He was amazing . I am 56 and I have never seen another player like him ..NBA in 80s was the best ..
What a smug Bastard! You gotta love that he could always back it up. My brother introduced me to pro basketball in this era. I feel so fortunate to have witnessed the great players of the day.
Larry is a trashtalker that can walk the walk and talk the talk. Modern NBA players like Beverly only talks trash but can't back it up
Fax
trash talk and "it's just running around, doing nothing" borrowed from Westbrook🤣
The hair on larry bird should be reconized, it is a work of art, he stole wilkins soul
I know where to find you at the end of the bulls bench what a roast
That one was funny asf 🤣
“At the end of the bulls bench.” 😂😂😂☠️☠️☠️☠️ Might as well retire yourself after that 😂😂😂😂😂
4:02 that bench reactions from the hawks, lmao
Bird was a beast and had the respect of everyone. Talked more trash than a little bit too. Got a new subscriber. Was fun to watch. Great video
White boy won three MVPs in a row. He was my favorite player of the 80s until Jordan came along. Dude was a Yeti.
larry used to wreck jordan in his early years
He's not "white". He's Native American on both sides. Check Wikipedia. Plenty of "black" players have white blood on both sides, so Larry is really mixed race, as are most African American players.
@@joemarshall4226 Bro literally nobody gives a shit
You heard it here folks, Larry Bird isn't white. His grandparents from Scotland and Ireland were mistaken. Words don't mean anything. Reading doesn't matter. It's Wacky Wednesday!
@@zacharymutter8432 Look, this might be just a little too tough for you to understand, but the way people use the word "white" usually, it means you are 100% European-American. Otherwise, all kinds of African- American people would be called "white", too, since the average African American person in America is 40 or 50% European. Larry is Native on both sides, so by the usual definition he can't be called "White". He's mixed race. I wish they would refer to African American people the same way. We're all cousins.
Really enjoyed this.
I never heard the story about him switching to left hand shots... Another legendary overachiever.
There will never be another Bird.
Dude was the greatest of all time.
One* and im a celtics fan
😂 Larry was ruthless man...
Larry legend
Very well made video. The best larry bird moments video on youtube
Larry Joe Bird, amazing basketball player. 🏀👏🏻👏🏻
Love watching the hawks bench when Bird was ripping them apart. They were as excited as anyone.
THE GOAT. PERIOD.
Bird is straight savage, no wonder why MJ respect the guy so much saying Bird is the best shooter in NBA.
Would love a to see a mash-up of Bird vs. Shoresy.
“At the end of the bulls bench”
God damn. 😂
RIP Craig Hodges.... Larry Fucking Legend
"If you can talk the talk then you gotta walk the walk" taking on human form
