Oh my! Am so glad I found this blog. Have been searching for answers regarding non accompanying spouses. And my case is an exert replica of the first mail you read.
Am the main applicant and i kind of have a little fear,how to cope with the kids as a new immigrant in Canada with out my spouse.
Where and when do we have to mention the reason of spouse not accompanying??
1. At the time of landing, to an immigration officer??
2. In letter of explanation after receiving the ITA?
Please mention where do we need to provide the reason.
For Jan 21 intake for pgdm 2 yrs program at new Brunswick Canada if I come with status spouse not accompanying then later how can I get my spouse and when?
Hi Mr. Mark, I have a situation. Prior to the invitation I kept my family non-accompanying but after this historic draw of cut-off 75, it make sense to add family after ITA. my question is do I need a LOE to explain why I did non-accompany before and why I want to make them accompanying. My genuine reason is I could not get WES done for my wife due to all this Covid situation. Though She has been living here with me since Feb-2020.
Are you and your spouse already in Canada? And did it work out putting her as non accompanying and explaining in loe?
Hi Mark, I’m in a critical situation. My husband is a PR. However due to internal disturbances I’ll not be able to use his documents to sponsor or even to submit as marriage proof. I have enough points to get ITA.
Please suggest can I select non accompanying spouse and also if I can use our marriage certificate and utility bills, house loan etc as my proof of marriage
I don't know if you've answered this already, but my spouse, who is the main applicant has listed me as non-accompanying. Without me he gets 3 more points on his CRS score. My question is this: Is it possible for me to accompany his anyway, just as if I am going on a holiday? The thought of being separated for a year is really hard for both of us. I understand that he will have to support me during this time, but I am hopeful that if we do get there i'll be able to find some work and get a work visa.

A couple applied for Canadian PR under express entry.
They received the invitation to apply.
However, now they decide to get separated. Both are Indians married in India.
Can the applicant get wife removed from PR list at this stage.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I recently got SINP ITA and I am in the process of submitting the application.
My spouse have applied for study permit in Canada and the application is under review with IRCC. I got the SINP ITA after her application for study permit was submitted.
Please advise what I have to specify in my SINP nomination application if her study permit gets approved. Do I mention her as non-accompanying spouse or the accompanying spouse.
Will selecting any option affects my application?

It’s a ridiculous rule. How about people that can’t get divorced?
Non comping application how much time required for spouse.. 1year or 6 months...

Hi mr.mark ,this is baji venkatesh ,I completed my graduation Bsc computer science in the year of 2008 and I joined job in bank sector as a debit recovery agent and team leader .my bank Citibank and I had certificate of Indian institute of bank and finance,then I established my business like pharmacy .iam the managing partner with my colleague as registered pharmacist.i run pharmacy 4 years after I joined college of pharmacy I finished my Dpharmacy .I taken my licence of pharmacy .iam propertior and registered pharmacist .I pay income tax to my government still date.i apply for PR application for me only.i had two kids(baby girls)and my wife's qualification is Bsc nursing.she had 10 years experience in health care sector and she works now as registered nurse I government contract bases .my question is my age 31,5months now any ways to getting PR visa.please give reply and give some advise for me me.mark,thank you

Yes, you can. You have to delete your current profile and create a new one..

my reason is "My mother in law who is a widow is dependent on us and is living with us. We have invested in a property in Delhi near our relatives where she can live after we get possession of the house. Till the completion of house my wife is going to support her."
please suggest if I could give any other valid reason and if I will need any proofs for that?

@@MONUDKING you can attach documents of work experience of your wife like bank statement in which she got salary from mnc... to show that she is well settled.. that's why she is not accompanying you to canada.. you can attach death certificate of your father as proof that your mother is widow and needs support...you can also attach proof of medical reports of your mother if that reports can prove that she is not medically fit and needs someone to take care of her... you can also attach school documents of child(if you have) and say that your child is doing good in studies and you don't want to interrupt his/her studies by shifting child to other country...

I got nomination from SNIP for the family, but in EE profile i wish to give family not accompanying as my wife cannot quit her job in India now as he has a bond with the company for another two years. So can go ahead with a letter of explanation as not accompanying ?

I live in Canada with my wife. I have included her as an accompanying. With spouse accompanying my score is 477 but with spouse non accompanying my score is 499. Though we live in Canada, can I still declare non accompanying so that I can ITA soon. If I am allowed to do that what is the procedure to apply for her PR later ?

Hello Mark... My question is :Is it compulsory for spouse to give answers in "English" in interview (which tests genuineness of marriage) when he is sponsored by his wife who is PR in Canada?.. As i am the primary applicant and later, i want to sponsor my husband but he can't answer in English.. Plz help by suggestion... Am waiting for your reply.
