The most humble and respectful player in pool. Melling and Woodward are up there when it comes to a perfect representation of pool. Love watching Melling play. Very unique style. Congratulations signing with Cuetec. They've come a long way and love all their products.

another great video..I seen the silly guys who are supposed pool influencers here in the states are having a tournament contest with 68 companies and you were left off..I thought that was ashame because you have great content but after further seeing how goofy it is and the niche crowd there going for its ok..As matchroom was beat by that greg hogue guy as most imoportant for pool and of course there person stuff is winning against others I realized its laughable ..what a joke...But Karl you bring insight on a personal of the players and your humor is top notch .Keep up the good work.

This is the video I’ve been waiting for, ever since I heard about Chris melting moving to cuetec and prototyping a new shaft for English 8 ball. I’ve been dying to hear the diameter of the tip. Now that we have an idea of the prototype 9mm shaft it’s getting me excited. I know a lot of people currently using a 11.8 carbon shafts for those small balls and tables so there’s definitely a market out there for them!

In America, I play snooker and pool, and I so like the feel of the snooker cue that I use it to play 9ball. The 9.5 tip works fine and the Euro taper is nice and stiff.

Love the honesty “so you’re gong to play with it if you like it” “well I’m going to play with it anyway that was the agreement” . I know English pool and and snooker are very steeped in tradition, but I feel like the nature of snooker and English pool with the small pockets and need for consistent cueing a really slim carbon shaft really makes sense! Especially with how long those guys like to shoot with the same cue for decades. Maybe cuetec needs to come out with a one piece wood but and carbon shaft? 😂

Hey Karl, random question. Do you know anything about the Chinese 8 Ball Masters Grand Final? I noticed there are 0 snooker players in it this year, and 0 Americans and very few English considering the strength of pool in England. Is it rigged to increase the likelhood of Chinese victory? Good to see Melling made it in though.
