Tom thank you for sharing your story. I’ve had Crohn’s disease for 32 years I too was 21 when it all started and my story was very similar to yours. You’re a true warrior of this invisible disease Tom. I pray they find a cure for this rotten disease so we can be rid of it and the horrible medications.

Thank you Tom, it is insanely brave to come forward with this extremely personal but important information. Both my friend and cousin have colitis and I know from my tiny experience as a friend on the outside how painful it can be I genuinely can’t imagine going through it let alone sharing your experience with us all. ❤❤❤

Massive poggers to Tom for being so candid and open. Men's health is a difficult topic to breach especially something invisible to the naked eye. I hope Tom, Broden, and everyone at The Footy are proud of themselves for bringing a massive health and social issue to the forefront. Much appreciated chat boys! Keep on bouncing that pill

My shifty & elderly gastroenterologist refused to diagnose me with crohn’s (he’s in the pocket of big pharma and would hawk whatever new drug a pretty drug rep would hand him each week). I went to UPenn and got a colonoscopy and was immediately diagnosed with crohn’s. I had lost 30 lbs and had daily recital bleeding. I couldn’t eat anything with fat or fiber until I changed gastroenterologists. When in doubt see a better doctor…

Thank you so much for sharing your story Tom. This was an incredibly moving talk and one that will prompt healthy conversations about it. I really appreciate your authenticity and its been both very important and an important reminder to look after ourselves more physically and mentally. I myself have been trying to investigate my own bowel issue over the last few years but there's not a clear diagnosis still, so I do relate somewhat to what you have gone through and some parallels in my own experience. Thank you again, and I wish you the best going forward 🙏❤

Could not be prouder of Tom. Showed unbelievable strength to not only endure the darkest days, but to also find a way to thrive in his life. I have no doubt there are plenty of people, young and old, that will take inspiration from you sharing your story. Big shoutout to Broden too - holding space for a mate to be able to tell his story and not judge him, is a reflection of character. Absolutely love this!

I have a good friend with crohn’s, a few years ago he started medical weed and went from sitting on the toilet 14 times a day to 2 now he swears by it. I’m not sure how the disease works but give it a go try cbd oil maybe what harm could it do 🤷‍♂️
