Great video! Thanks, it was beneficial. I was really excited to hear you and Jason are going to Albania. I will definitely look forward to your videos from there.
I really love these cost-of-living videos! Thanks. Could you please add the transportation costs to and from the airport - if not already- and the flight costs from one destination to another? For example, Malaysia to Danang; Next Da nang to Albania. Just so I can create a total cost of living budget spreadsheet with your numbers. Thanks, Shaun
@englishpractiseclub4583 hi Shaun I never include flights because that will be different for everyone. And in my transportation costs it already included transportation from airport. 👍
Why don't you look up the airfares on line, you expect these people to do everything for you? Transportation to and from the airport, the airport is in town so the cost will be less than $10 to anywhere in DaNang......
I actually went to bo steak yesterday and it was great. I've tried many of your recommended places and all were great. Thank you for your content I really appreciate it.
Nice blog. Can you provide name of neighborhood where you stayed in condo in Da Nang ( less touristy area). Is there area in Da Nang less crowded beach even one has to travel a bit. Keep up the good work
Great video. What is it like for older people? My dads in his 70s, has had some health issues but seems to be improving so im thinking of taking him there for 5 days or so as an ice breaker to see how he handles it. Any tips would be helpful on what he can do there etc
The only thing I could suggest for your dad would be to stay somewhere close by to all the things you want to see ( just for convenience for walking) taxis are affordable too and I'd also recommend NOT going in their summer months.... it's EXTREME heat.
@@frankrollins8171the best months to travel to Danang are between Feb to June. Earlier than that there will be rain occasionally, later than that the humidity and heat might not be tolerable to him.
@frankrollins8171 quick Google search terms me April to August.... if lean more towards the earlier part of that time frame..... the month we were there (June July August) were hot
Am i right in my understanding that you paid 1.5 million dong for the whole three months for your bike? or was that for each month? I recognise the shop, thats the same one i used last time
yes, I've been to Albania too. on a US passport, I could stay for 12 months! Loves the easy access to fresh veggies, just like in Vietnam. Coffee is also big.
I too loved Bo Steak. but I also found Bo Kha to be a good choice for a beef stew for our American/Canadian palettes. You can get it with noodles or bread. I loved dipping my bread. It also had carrots in the broth.
Thanks for the info which is mega useful to me. I am booking tomorrow for my trip departing 30 October x2 months. Any recommended FaceBook pages for condo's? I'll book a hotel x10 nights whilst l look...
@Darryl_Smith thank you! We usually just join expat groups in whatever country we go to. But we DID book at MonaLisa Apartments when we first got there..... it was a great room I think 23CAD A NIGHT! Big room, with kitchenette AND your own washer AND dryer! It was great. Have a great time Darryl and thanks for watching. 👍 .....Also, look on market place, Vietnam Travel guide, Vietnam 1000 questions on FB 👍
@@wattstraveling Thanks so much for the tips and insights. Mona Lisa looks good so will call them in the morning. Homework to do and glad of it!! Happy landings in Albania - but I guess you there already! Stay safe.

@randyxray4404 everyone has their own likes and dislikes.....I enjoy the water, the sand isn't my favorite.....I like the occasional beach day but there's SO MUCH MORE to Da Nang than the BEACH....basically the whole point of this video! 🤣🤣
Anywhere else has better internet connection than Malaysia sorry about that. The only thing good about Malaysia is the food and at least people are able to speak basic English 😂
Yeah, internet was tricky in Malaysia for sure! We've honestly been able to manage very well in all the countries we've been to speaking only English, even tho we try to speak some local words as much as we can. Google translate for the win
Great video Val, so nice to see your smiling happy face. I hope you and Jay have an awesome trip to Albania. Cheers!!
