"Everyone" I second - it overlaps less in vocal range and style with the songs you reacted. Does anyone else hear some distortion throughout the track? I know there is no distortion on the original video so could there be something Rachel or her tech needs to fix? Rachel’s analysis is too good to be distracted by bad audio, especially if is of someone as fantastic as So Hyang. I don’t think it is my player since Rachel sounds perfect. Does anyone else hear some distortion throughout the track? I know there is no distortion on the original video so could there be something Rachel or her tech needs to fix? Rachel’s analysis is too good to be distracted by bad audio, especially if is of someone as fantastic as So Hyang. I don’t think it is my player since Rachel sounds perfect. I hope it gets fixed for her subsequent videos.

This was such a great performance and a nice analysis. (Suggestion: From a tech level, is there a way to set things up differently so that the video clip itself isn't so compressed/laggy? Going off of what you said about tongue positioning, is it bad if have a "dent/dip" in the back of my tongue?
It all depends on your anatomy/the style you're going for! Generally speaking, we want to achieve tongue relaxation, in which your tongue should have little to no dips. That being said, lot's of great belters have a little bit of a dip, as a TINY BIT of tension is natural in that sort of sound (key words TINY BIT). But yes, generally, we want to avoid a dip!
