Good practical example for stuff many of us will eventually dive into.

do you need to parallel at all. can't you just series all 4 panels together?

The Delta 2 has a voltage limit of 60 volts. So if you series 4 panels at 20v each, you are going to fry your unit. 20x4 = 80 volts

You won’t be able to accept 15A in this configuration, the EcoFlow will only accept 8A by default which you can reduce in the app (not that you would).
If you want to lift this limit up to the 15A it can handle, you need to use an XT60i connector and either buy one or make one with the sensing pin shorted to the negative side (the rounded side) of the connector. If that pin is shorted to the positive side, or it’s not connected or just doesn’t exist like on your plain XT60 connector, the EcoFlow thinks it’s a cigarette lighter charger for a car and to not pop the fuse, the 8 amp or lower limit is imposed.

lol i was gna say that too

I swear I read somewhere that the xt60 only affected input current from a cigarette outlet of a car and things like that. I’ll order an xt60 I version and see if my input increases, I typically get 340 watts out of this array.

@@rnkustomz To be conservative the Delta assumes everything you plug in is a car charger unless you tell it otherwise by shorting a sensing pin to negative. You can test this by lowering the "Car input" to 4A in the app and watching your power levels go down. As you're feeding the Delta with 49V, with your 400w setup you're probably not seeing the current limit anyway. If you had a perfect 400w output from the panels, at 49v that's 8.16A and you'd just barely get limited.

I ordered some xt60i’s today as im gonna add another 2 panels in parallel to make 6 total. Thanks for the helpful information! I’m still learning all this stuff.
