    Those bi-facials should be up on their edge, both faces toward East & West with nothing blocking the sunlight blocking its faces. (Early charging am & late pm) when the 90° to solar noon isn't getting anything early am & late pm. Solar noon, very little until the sun passes solar noon. Extends charging earlier & later in the day.

    You won’t be able to accept 15A in this configuration, the EcoFlow will only accept 8A by default which you can reduce in the app (not that you would). If you want to lift this limit up to the 15A it can handle, you need to use an XT60i connector and either buy one or make one with the sensing pin shorted to the negative side (the rounded side) of the connector. If that pin is shorted to the positive side, or it’s not connected or just doesn’t exist like on your plain XT60 connector, the EcoFlow thinks it’s a cigarette lighter charger for a car and to not pop the fuse, the 8 amp or lower limit is imposed.

    • @astral9872
      @astral9872 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@rnkustomz To be conservative the Delta assumes everything you plug in is a car charger unless you tell it otherwise by shorting a sensing pin to negative. You can test this by lowering the "Car input" to 4A in the app and watching your power levels go down. As you're feeding the Delta with 49V, with your 400w setup you're probably not seeing the current limit anyway. If you had a perfect 400w output from the panels, at 49v that's 8.16A and you'd just barely get limited.

    I'm new to the solar community and have a question about voltage. For the Delta 2, there's a maximum voltage input of 60 but according to the specs, it's maximum wattage of 500. If you wired up 5 of those exact panels, would it be too much for your brother's Delta 2 because of the added up voltage? Do you add up the VOC or the VMP?

    • @rnkustomz
      @rnkustomz 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TenTenorioArt you have to take both into consideration, but going over on volts is dangerous, going over on amps shouldn’t pose a threat to your unit. Technically the delta 2 should have over volt protection but I’ve always heard not to trust it and be careful.
