Fantastic afternoon of fishing and those were some really good sized Wrasse. Thanks for the tips and advice in the video, love how you talk through what and how you are doing things. Great job!
Love your commentary re Rod, what different types of fish there. You show lot's of handy hints etc re ultralight fishing . Love your fishing location. Look forward to next fishing methods as well as beautiful locations.😊
Like the cruise getting to the beach, background music is calming, plenty of potential with several different species. Tight lines, a few squid would have been a bonus
Yes I agree, unless I'm in the boat or specifically in some Squid ground I find squid fishing kinda boring if I know there are other species there ready to bite. I will keep giving the squid some love there though
I guarantee you'll catch them, throw any soft plastic around 2-3 inches with a #2 or #4 hook and you will catch them. Even the pre rigged BCF grubs will work
Wait till summer here, it looks amazing. I'm even Gunna go snorkelling there. I was pleasantly surprised too when I moved here at how clear and blue it is.
Yea they fight reasonably well because they try and bury you in the kelp you need to have your drag tightens for sure. Definitely a fun fish that's easily accessible here
Try some Matzuo jig hooks for all of your BFS hooks....extra fine wire and 3 times sharper than the gamas and Tt jig hooks. You don't have to set the hook...they simply bury deep and fast.
normally I pick line based on diameter and not the breaking strength. For beach fishing I would use 10 or 12lb braid. For bream, trout, redfin and smaller species typically 6lb with a 4lb leader.
Yea you could bait fish there, I would probably go to the boat ramp side of the beach and head to the left. You probably don't need to cast much more than 20m to get it into a fishable.spor, so even if you don't Wade it's fine.

Hey man I love the videos I was just wondering where you can buy that ultra light rod from
If you are willing to shop online I would highly recommend starting at aliexpress. What is your budget and what length of rod are you looking for?

Never heard of matzuo, I'll take a look. I use TT for.my #4 and above.sized.jigheads.

Hey mate, I’m going to warrnambool soon, could I bait fish off the beach and how far did you have to walk on? ( how far did you have to cast out?)

What type of hook did you used ?
#2 1/8oz jighead I think
