It isn’t, only if the odometer broke, and you need to install a new one, and put the correct mileage on it.

CLK 2004 is Japanese specs and e350 is us specs using cable or blue tooth can make any difference ? my 850 USD gone in the air

The thinktool will not proceed with the task if you enter enter a mileage that is lower than your current one. It only allows you to enter a number higher than what you currently have. Therefore, it cannot be used to defraud anyone
