    I have Chiari Malformation and Syringomyelia. I’ve had 2 surgeries to help me, one when I was 24 for the Chiari Malformation and one when I was 40 for the Syringomyelia . Now I can barely walk and have numbness and unimaginable pain 24/7. It never ends. I have severe trouble breathing, and they said they can’t do anything else to help me but try to alleviate some of my pain. Dr. Najeeb explains in this video what the conditions are better than any neurologist or neurosurgeon has explained it to me. Thank you so very much doctor. Blessings to you. ❤️

      Is this something we are born with

    • @twinky4_4

      @@lindanurre9375 I have Type 1 Chiari Malformation so, yes, I was born with it. It’s the way the base of my skull developed. I didn’t even know anything was wrong with me until one day I was walking and out of nowhere I fell. Once I was able to get back up, I couldn’t stand up straight. I was 24.

      @twinky4_4 What treatment have you taken for the syringomyelia. My mother also has a syrinx from C2 to T10. Sometimes she also has trouble breathing.

    • @twinky4_4
      @twinky4_4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sumedhsalvekar897 I’ve had surgery to remove one very large syrinx and drain another one from my spinal cord. He also tightly sewed the area where he thought the fluid was getting in closed. A year and a half after that surgery I went back to him because my symptoms reappeared but much worse than before. He seen the MRI and decided he couldn’t do another surgery due to the new syrinx being too close to my respiratory. I tried 3 neurosurgeons, none of them would help me. They said it’s too risky and all they can do is try to ease my pain. I hope your mother gets some relief and feels better real soon. Blessings to you both.

    After 20 years of not understanding my nerve damage from chairi and syringomyelia you have given me all of my answers. I am so grateful..and also extremely lucky symptoms weren't worse. Thank you so much. I had a large syringomyelia from nerve 8 above c1..down to t10..minimal damage just nystagmus and disrupted sensory loss from left side face to torso. I now realise my symptoms aren't that bad.

    Dr Najeeb liking my 4,5,6 to even 9 years old comments (when i was still a medical student, intern or young resident) is my new thing for 2021 !! 😆😅
    But a few years ago, i had already watched all the videos (except the newer ones which I sometimes watch on the app).
    But no replies/comments from Dr Najeeb though....🤧🤧😖
