A woman that used to work with my mom went through the Uncharted games like this with her husband. Since they retired they've played a bunch of games together but this is their go to series.
Uncharted 4 was one of my favorite and most impactful gaming experiences ever. As a douchey older brother, this game taught me to love and respect my younger siblings, specifically my brother, and also gives some of the best marriage advice I've ever seen; culminating in a finale that truly says something profound. Honestly I don't think any other game has changed me more, and in my opinion uncharted 4 is a masterpiece
My older brother and I used to spend what we would call a “brothers weekend” playing the uncharted games. Just a few months ago I got a PS4 and grabbed Uncharted 4. I spent about a week and a half playing it and loved it so much, it brought back so much happy nostalgia while also just being a genuinely good game. I’m not going to lie when I say that at the end of the game I teared up knowing that this is the end of the Nathan Drake collection. I’m glad that somebody else enjoyed this game like I did. Btw your channel is really great, keep it up!👍

SEAN GRIGSBY that’s an emphatic NO, Uncharted 4 is boring and predictable as hell, this sequel’s story is phenomenal even though the first game’s is better, and neither of them are flawless. The only way you can think it’s an objectively bad story is if you allow others to form your opinion or you just don’t comprehend it. It’s perfectly acceptable to not personally like the story, I don’t particularly like watching the film Taxi Driver but at least I can recognize that it’s well made.
@SEAN GRIGSBY I'm not sure, I wouldn't put the last of us 2 below uncharted 4. Despite me really loving it. Can we at least agree the story is better then the first 3 uncharteds?
0:52 to 1:15 made me subscribe instantly. Now that I binge watched all your 61 videos (so far), I can watch as each comes out like a great TV show like GoT (don't ruin it like they did)... This channel is awesome!
I 100% agree with the title. I was a total backseat gamer with my boyfriend on this one and enjoyed every second of it. Especially yelling the directions :D
God Uncharted 4 was so good. I kinda hate that it's basically the end of Nate's story because I wanna get into more shenanigans with him, but it'd massively undermine the story to keep going with him lol
Ikr. I so wanted to go on more adventures with more of them but for Nate and Elena this is it. The epilogue feels like coming home. It feels like you have watched two dear friends go through so much struggle and find peace and joy. I was smiling and tearing up at the same time during the epilogue. There's something so intrinsically human in these characters that you can't help but root for them. Uncharted will always be one of my favourite game series, just because of how much joy I felt seeing it in action. My only regret is that I didn't play it myself and watched it. But that's a dream of mine. I am gonna buy a PlayStation someday when I have got my own money, load up these discs and play. Preferably with my family around me. I know it's a silly and small dream to have but I look oh so forward to it.
I'm so impressed that every video is filled with those perfect references from other games and movies. It's insane, your mental visual database is almost inhuman. I really can't grasp how you do it. Keep up the great (and cute, funny,...) work

I’ve been waiting to see a video about uncharted 4 since it’s still my favorite game on the ps4. This video really nails it why it is a great game. Not even for the one playing it, but also for the backseat gamer. I love it!
Uncharted is one of my most favorite series alongside mgs, gothic and monster hunter. I'm so glad you liked it, it's such a special game even if you haven't played previous titles. You should definitely make a review of Nathan Drake collection and lost legacy. (Golden abyss too)

Thomas Johnson Leaks aren’t 100% accurate. Something are and something are not. People were saying it was leaked from a developer when that turned out to be true. Either way, context and execution matters. Endgame was leaked before release and it sounded like shit. I’d wait for official reviews from trusted youtubers for now.
I grew up a Nintendo and Xbox guy. From NES and the original Xbox, all the way up to the Switch and the Xbox1. The only PlayStation console I ever played was the PS2, and that was only when I went over to a friends house. After reading reviews, I remember buying a PlayStation 4 just so I could play the Uncharted series. I don’t regret forking out $400 just to buy a console for basically one game. Hands down, Uncharted is the best video game series I have ever played.
I’m bummed that everybody turned on Naughty Dog in just 2 months. I’ve been a fan of ND since the Jak and Daxter days and I trust that they will tell a great story and give us a great game. Hope I’m right.

When I finished this game, I spent a good 3 days in a strange bliss/depression.
For me it was like „oh man, i want to be on that island and enjoy walking through libertalia“. The vibe i am getting from this game is so special. It really gets you hooked to this cool story. And after you find a skeleton or something you just wonder if there are more letters or if you will ever find out, what happened there
The only video game that my parents watched me play. Not only that, but they were so engaged with the story sometimes they would ask questions to get clarifications on the parts they missed! That’s when you know a video game is a MASTERPIECE!
2:26 that transition looks sick
This game was indeed a rare gift. I've made my girlfriend watch me play it twice
Let her play at least once :(
If she says she’s tired and needs some sleep get your gun put it on the table and tell her good night then wink.. the wink is the most important part along with a slight smirk
I thought Uncharted 1 was repetitive nonsense, Uncharted 2 had some epic moments, Uncharted 3 was a snoozefest. Uncharted 4 is a masterpiece. 10/10
She has no interest in playing. It's basically one of her favorite movies
@@kratos.8151 2 and 4 are definitely better than 1 and 3...but I thought all of them were great except 1 which was mediocre. I'd say 2 is actually more replayable than 4 though, the pacing is just on point.
Yeah, I can't even imagine how many hours the voice actors spent recording the conversations that play under basically every single minute of the game
A woman that used to work with my mom went through the Uncharted games like this with her husband. Since they retired they've played a bunch of games together but this is their go to series.
the Uncharted series started my love for game movies, where there is just cutscene after cutscene, making a surprisingly good movie.
"Did you wear one of those hats?"
"FOR WEEKS"
LOL
4?
Lol
i thought it was 4
This is the first time I have ever heard of this channel and I have to say that it is such a brilliant idea!
You have some catching up to do, enjoy ;)
This channel's meme game is without equal. And Shelby's song parodies... [chef's kiss]
Same.
Btw your channel is really great, keep it up!👍
Uncharted is that series that is just as fun to watch as play and I love how you can even watch nolan north and troy Baker play the game too
"a good movie" *shows Lord of the Rings*
Me: cries in happiness
*the best*
Sally Bradshaw **happiness noises**
That music though
If you like the 4th you should definitely play the other 3, all of them feels like movies, and the 2nd is the best in the series
Do not forget about Lost Legacy. Also 4 is the best IMO.
I know 2 is the best, but still 4 is my favorite
I really liked the third one. What they accomplished with the sand graphics at the time was so impressive. And the chase scene where the character is hallucinating. Uncharted is my favorite series.
definitely agree 2 is the best
Don’t play number 1. It has aged horribly and it’s amazing that it even got a sequel and got made into the amazing series it is now.
THE SCARY MOVIE SCENE WAS GENIUS EDITING
I truly love this channel so much. I’m so glad I found y’all! The editing is PHENOMENAL every single time and I love getting to hear your thoughts on all these games. Keep killing it!!
You should also play/review the first 3 Uncharted games. I promise you'll be amazed how the games are so ahead of their time in terms of graphics, plot, acting, mechanics, set pieces, etc. Anyways really love this channel just 7k more and we'll hit the million! 1
I just discoverd your channel and I have laughed my ass off so many times! I really feel related to almost everything about this topic backseatgaming and it is beau-ti-ful. Please keep on exploring and enjoying because we feel the same way!
Exactly how i felt when i discovered them, these guys are golds never felt like skipping any of their videos
5:34 may just be the funniest thing reference I've ever seen lol.
trellified Seinfeld, great show!
True
You must be a party animal... Living on the edge huh xD
Clever
That transition into The Lord of the Rings was pretty cool!
TH-cam algorithms brought me here and I have to say they nailed it. The writing + humor + editing here is fantastic. Sending this to my wife ASAP.
When you used Brenda to describe how you got roped into watching games with the last of us being the beginning I subbed 😂 love your editing! Amazing. 👍
"Better than the balloney Hollywood slaps on the big screen"
SW: Rise of Skywalker lmao 🤣🤣🤣
M. Rake Linggar A. Should’ve thrown it on Rey instead. You may not like Kylo but he was a better written character than Rey, even if only a little.
@@darthmalgus232 WTF is a Kylo
Dane of Halves Kylo, as in Kylo Ren, the character whose face a piece of bologna was thrown on in the video, the guy with the black hair.
@@darthmalgus232 haha! We weren't throwing it at anyone specifically, just the scene itself :) Kylo is also our favorite.
3:57 "Here, watch this!" ... how to set yourself up for failure.
I used to play this when I was for vacation at my parents and played it in the living room on the big tv. even they were impressed and were waiting for me to continue play and said it's like watching a movie. They usually don't like video games :D
Oh man that's awesome!!!! You're so lucky! Wish my parents could get into it!!
I am glad you decided to review Uncharted 4!! It is one of my all-time favorites. I think is easy to focus only on new games, which is why I appreciate this one. You are doing a terrific job, I love that different approach to a game review, all your videos are smart, funny, insightful, irreverent and entertaining. I only hope you can post more videos more frequently but never at the cost of the quality you have put this far.
THANK YOU AND KEEP UP THE GREAT REVIEWS!!
The editing on these videos never cease to amaze me. You guys somehow always find the perfect clips for anything you say or show in the videos, some examples being: 2:27, 2:35, 4:07 and 5:07. This editing style is definitly my favorite.
0:20 I recognize Tetris 99 music when I hear it. 10/10 reference.
Not like tetris is the third best selling game in videogame history or anything...a very obscure reference this one...
thats just tetris dude
Yes! They’re doing Uncharted!
I Was Literally Watching Unchartered 4 ending and
Your review was posted. ..
Loved it btw☺️☺️☺️☺️
My dad watched me play all of this game and it was the best time I’ve ever spent with him.:)
My mom and dad watched me play uncharted 4, they really enjoyed it. One of my dads favorites that I’ve played is horizon zero dawn. He loves that the weapon is a bow and arrow, he thinks it’s so cool
4:47 That John Wick reference was awesome! 😆
"The pinnacle of backseat gaming"
This videos takes time to develop. I see and notice your commitment to good writing, matching what you're saying with a popular reference of amovie or a tv show. Anyway, thank you for taking your time on doing just an amazing entertain video
5:10 mirrors the poster... attention to detail 👏👏👏👏
i mean it's kind of obvious you should do that
LonelyStranger editing videos is harder than you anticipate, friend
Uncharted 4 is my favorite game of all time. Every moment in that experience is so perfectly crafted, and I love the story's themes of family, obsession, passion, and defining success. It's a shame that there aren't more linear AAA games like this.
the way you guys put that lord of the rings part into that video just made me so happy that I had to pause out of excitement .... I adore you
Ohh damn you brought back all the memories of playing this game. I'm gonna replay it tomorrow again, while I wait for TLOU2
Right? ND games are like a voice in you head "play me again, i know you want"
@@anavitoriafarion2621 Really ? I've actually never replayed any ND games since Crash Bandicoot tho I do have the last of us remastered and I've only beat it on PS3
I know been replaying 3 not because I’m not allowed TLOU 2 defenitly not
Let’s go I’ve been waiting for uncharted 4 since the beginning of time!
Oh boy, I wish you review "A plague tale"
The story is great, easy to follow and emotional without any of that back seat gamer problems you mentioned.
Would indeed be a nice one to see here!
Plague Tale does have the crafting screen, though.
Amazing game
A really liked the story of A Plague Tale but some of those mechanics and controls were so bad it made it hard to enjoy the game.
Damn the scary movie, the Lotr transition to uc4, the southpark referance. the seinfeld meme. The edditing in this episode is above and beyond! Great job you guys
Whenever my brother plays any Naughty Dog game and my grandfather's there to watch we keep having to repeatedly remind him that it's not a movie. It's cute that when we stop playing he asks, 'Are you going to continue watching the movie tomorrow?', cuz' he'd then ask us to wait for him cuz' he wants to see it too.
😂😂nice
One of the greatest games ever made!
not to stir the pot, but after the leaks fiasco , looks like the game could have been better if niel hadnt push out the female writer of the last three games
Ditto
@@TheLateral18 I think the writing and story was actually the best in 4, the story was more than just a cliche Indiana jones rip off(not that that wasn't fitting for the previous games). However, I think the pacing was much better in 2, and there was too.much.climbing
@sudha bhatt you think Uncharted 3 is the worst? Uncharted 1 for me, the parcouring is way to outdated the rest of the gameplay is fine though
angelo lopez it got a 93 metacritic score? 😳 how could it have been better?
After just 1.49 min of watching, I'm laughing out loud and in love with this review!
In my home, I have a boyfriend backseat driving while I play action-adventure games (especially tomb raider)!
This game must be awesome for my household!!
Edit: oh noooo!! I have an Xbox!! Nooooooo!
“I wish things were different”
That part got me!
My buddy just send me this video in the morning, it is now 8:30pm and I’ve spent the whole day watching all your past vids while working on my Island in Animal Crossing and I have to say it has been one of the greatest days I’ve had this year and I want to say thank you.
I played uncharted 1 and 2 end to end with my friends binge watching at a house party. That's how awesome the whole series was. They didn't want to play, they all just wanted to watch.
From a former editor for TV broadcasting, I praise your skills , well done👏👏
Damn a Uncharted review. That came out of nowhere!
I really hope you guys will set the haters of Last of us Part 2 straight, I just finished it this morning and it is completely misunderstood, I was deeply moved.
@Otávio Rapôso thank you, by looking at everything in the game for example the graphics. You can tell just how hard they worked on this game and it really looks beautiful. I cant wait to see what these beautiful people do on ps5
@Otávio Rapôso tbf Uncharted 1 was awful but that's it
SEAN GRIGSBY that’s an emphatic NO, Uncharted 4 is boring and predictable as hell, this sequel’s story is phenomenal even though the first game’s is better, and neither of them are flawless.
Yeah, except for that it was such trash
I haven't laughed and cried at a TH-cam video this good.... in a long time. Thank you
If you want something to hold you over for a couple of days (maybe even just hours), there's always Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Short but good.
@Filipe Gomes Best gameplay - they ironed out all the kins and added open world.
@Filipe Gomes whats wrong with the dialogue?
I'm so impressed that every video is filled with those perfect references from other games and movies. It's insane, your mental visual database is almost inhuman. I really can't grasp how you do it. Keep up the great (and cute, funny,...) work
You are so correct, it is a game made for the cheerful audience in the background, popcorn in hand. A smoke makes it even more entertaining
This is so on point. I miss playing this type of linear game.
Am I the only one who cried after finishing the entire Uncharted series? No? Just me? Okay
Cried because it was over but because it was such a great game :'(
this game is a masterpiece no lie about that
Yep i only had uncharted 4 but my friends have the other games but i saw the games not every bit but i already know its a masterpeice and then i cried at the end and i dont cry at story games so this is one of the few games that made me cry
I’m still looking forward to Last Of Us 2.
The golfing sim?
@@gamerguyzx8789 the originality.
I probably would have dropped game of thrones if I heard about the red wedding during season 1 so... I'll wait for reviews.
@@chillociraptor5007 still probably more fun than the game itself.
same. the plot leaks and drama got me more interested
(Golden abyss too)
Am I the only one that just discovered this awsome TH-cam channel today!?
“SULLIED with diuretic combat systems”
I see what you did there
haha
Nice catch! I think it's "diarrhetic" as in "diarrhea Christmas lights," which is one of her phrases to describe too many light effects during combat, rather than "diuretic" as in "it makes you pee." They sound the same, though.
5:34 that's literally how I feel on Twitter when people talk about the sequel
Thomas Johnson how many times do I have to say this. THE GAME HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED YET.
It'sAlexForShort Shh. People don’t like the truth.
The editing with the scary movie 3 scene is soooo good. This is why this channel has thrived.
They literally haven’t made a bad game for 25 years but people lose their shit a month before the game releases. It’s absurd.
Okay, well have fun destroying everyone you loved in the first one:D
Also don’t forget to support the other agendas that these people have snuck into all the other forms of media.
neil says the game is about hate. if you are a bit of a masochist go ahead and play the game.
Frank Sobotka I guarantee you never even heard of her before this game was taking heat.
0:56 that was my reaction when i saw it while playing damn!
I'm playing this beautiful masterpiece another time in the most hard difficult and bro I can't God damn believe who a game with soo many grafics and fight and absolutely everything just come out some years ago AND STILL BEEN AMAZING!!!!
I keep coming back to this review, because I have never heard someone so eccentric about a video game story, that gave me the same experience! And it sound so uplifting that it almost give me hope for the future - thank you.
As soon as 1:30 started you suddenly unleashed a video game essay that I was not expecting during a girlfriend review.
