Love this instructional video! Just made fleece pillowcases for my grandkids to use over Christmas vacation. Thank you for sharing your talent!
Wonderful! Thank you for comment.
Thank you! Very easy to follow. I whipped out two of them in no time and I'm fairly new to sewing. I'm so excited! One thing I might do next time is to sew one short side down (wrong sides together) about 3-4 inches to create a finished side when viewing the pillow from the open end. The flap does a nice job enclosing the pillow but I don't like seeing the wrong side of my fabric on the opposite side of the flap.
Pleased you took the time to type this ….me too 🤪🤣…so I will do the same
This is so simple just what I was looking for. Thank you 😊.
It took me a long time to find a Fold Top closing pillow case. Thank you.

Yes, you can.

Olá, muito bom! Muito fácil e rápido de fazer, adorei! (Portugal
Oh thankyou so much for that tutorial, that is exactly what I was looking for. I’m making a small pillowcase for a pillow that I use for my hips and knees at night and I just don’t want the case to be open at one end. This is so perfect, thanks so much. I think I may have made one a long time ago, but do you think I could figure it out, nope. Thanks again. You made it look so easy. I appreciate it.
Thank you so much.
What if we do not have serger. Would a regular stitch work?
You solve my problem thank you
My pillow is 26 x 16 inches. What size fabric should I cut for a pillow this size ? It's a great video and easy to follow. Be great if you can share the formula for any pillow size. Thanks!
Sh Cheok By the look of it, I’d measure the length of the pillow from one end to the other, then add 8-10 inches. That should be enough to turn up and envelope the pillow. So the one side will be the length of the pillow, the other part will be 8-10 longer. Try one with some fabric that is not too precious to you and see how it goes. They’re pretty easy to do, you’ll be surprised. Best of luck!
May I request for a vid that would start with measuring the pillow and how much seam allowance and overlap for our size of pillows? For example, I have an irregular shaped memory foam pillow which is thicker on the part that supports the neck. It says 12x18 on the label but when it expanded from the vacuum pack it was 14x 23 on the thickest portion, 14x21.5 where the head would lay and 14x22 where our head curves upward. I like pillow cases wherein the overlap is on the upper inside part. Thanks in advance!
Here's the link the same type of pillow.

I am trying to make a pillow that is 33 in wide and 19 in tall, I want it to be 9 in thick. Do you know what size I should cut my fabric? It's the thickness part that's throwing me off. Can someone please help me I am planning on making it today.

Easy to understand video, but shame no measurements to relate to the size of your pillow. Also the music was awful sorry, I had to mute it!
What size of pillow is this for?
Ashlee Webb : My pillow size is 17" x 27". Thanks for watching!
Nice method but super annoying music!
