Lol, I think commentating chess boxing gave levy new life. His chess commentary skills are off the charts in this awesome video.
You are the best "chess sportcenter" ever my brother!!! Learning so much from you. I kept going back and forth between your channel and Anna Cramlin channel. So far I am currently 11 wins streak. I improve from 1015 to 1147 so far. I really will like to turn pro. All thanks to your and Anna Cramlin (her GM parents too) for your incredible breakdown videos! Thank you GM Gotham!
Watched the entire thing live but seeing a recap certainly helps to understand things better!
Fantastic! This is the war I expect from these two. I'm glad my man Hikaru was standing in the end with every cut and wound a sign of pride. Chess doesnt get more exciting than these two going at it.
Normal chess player: *Moves a piece*
Levy: *Writes an entire novel about it*
Wow, I did‘t expect the analysis of this match so quickly. Great Job! WOW
I love how the match clock adds another strategic layer to the games. Incredible match.
And Today, Scc 2023 final, Magnus wins by 1 point against Hikaru. A perfect nail biting match and a well deserved win
My respect for Gotham tenfolded when he said the thing about football (English)
But He is right 😛
Bro I cried at 13:44 💀
Levy casually digressing about football and world cup for ten seconds in the middle of the video to help the SEO of youtube.
What a gigachad content creator
Everyone bitching about Hikaru stalling time is so ridiculous to me. Playing against the clock and playing fast is literally what Speed Chess and Blitz is about.
This level of entertainment is MASSIVE! Well done Levy
all your videos really feel like a face to face conversation. Crazy how much more i learn from that
I'm new to the channel and to chess but I just love listening to him talk. He's so passionate about chess and all the tangents and analogies are so funny and engaging
yes
🤓
Probably the best chess match I’ve ever seen!! Both gave it their all, it could have gone either way. Congratulations Hikaru, you were an inspiration today and you deserved this victory! Magnus, an undeniable legend, I’m sure he’ll be back even stronger than ever next time!
Love that you show the clock on this recap! Because time management is such a critical part of a speed chess game.
Congratulations Hikaru, you're the best. Let me tell you, never change.❣️
He had no sportsmanship and had to bleed the clock. Couldn't win on skill alone. Lost my respect.
@@Gxralt wow! What an assessment. Had it been completely on skill, they would have played classical chess. Clock bleeding and time management is an important and completely legitimate feature of speed chess. And on a positive note, Hikaru is GOAT in speed chess, no doubt.
@@Gxralt perhaps you could learn that clock bleeding is a legit strategy and that Hikaru is one of the top speed chess players, before you go complaining on Gotham’s channel.
@@TylerSy +1
@@Gxralt thats the friking point of speed chess. Otherwise just play classical chess.
one of the best matches I have ever seen of speed chess, we just witnessed history here.
This is easily my new favourite chess video. Love how colorful and enthusiastic your commentary is Levy. Amazing 👏
The speed of which you do these videos is amazing. And ridiculously helpful!
Thank you so much for hyping up the game of chess so much for me. You make it feel like a real sport. Love you levy.

“My TeA gOne ColD I WonderIng WhyY”😂😂😂😂
Incredible recap bro. 17 matches canNOT be easy. I watched this live and was on the edge of my seat most of the time. I was looking forward to this breakdown, thanks for the hard work.
Lol, the livestream hasn't even finished, but Levy is right here with the recap

Besides knowing the movement of the pieces and the HOF location I know nothing of chess...and I'm hooked on watching your stuff. Very well done
I love your storytelling Levy great energy, thank you Gotham
