    Heifetz often mentioned Gitlis as a real favorite. He was absolutely fearless, and was willing to take every risk imaginable in performance to make the musical moment a spine tingler. A true gypsy on stage and in life.

      Et encore sur ce morceau c'est pas "flagrant" comparé à la chaconne ! Mais c'est ce qui rend son jeu si vivant ! Son violon parle, pleure, s'amuse et joue !

    • @enviedejoie
      @enviedejoie ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@christophegeoffroy4281 vibratro trop "tzigane" trop libre, absence de son dit "plein" il a un faux lâcher prise car d'ailleurs c'est pas simple du tout, mais on pourrait qualifier sa sonorité de "sale" pas assez défini, pas net, pas rond voir pas beau mais chez lui c'est justement a travers ça que les émotions passent. Mais effectivement la première fois que je l'ai écouté je me suis dit c'est incroyable sa façon de jouer est a l'inverse de ce qu'on apprend !! Ça m'a obsédé car je me disais comment c'est possible !! Et en plus je suis ému de façon incroyable donc qu'est ce qui se passe !! Ça s'appelle juste de l'émotion !
      D'ailleurs à ne pas se méprendre quand on dit que c'est l'opposé de notre apprentissage car ça ne fait pas de lui un mauvais violoniste, bien au contraire !

      Bon Dieu, @Christophe. C'est évident - non ? @Marcelito: Il pouvait se le permettre, parcequ'il sait jouer. Ils te le disent pour que tu puisses améliorer encore ta technique... avant d'essayer à briller. ( Mais il est probablement vrai que pas mal de joueurs ne réussissent plus à se libérer de ces principes bien intentionnés... Dans ce contexte il serait peut-être utile de regarder th-cam.com/video/wXNdD6Q2kyg/w-d-xo.html. Mais rends-toi compte que Daniel Rowland ne dit pas ce qu'il dit en tant que musicien encore en formation. Il le dit avec toute sa compétence, ses aptitudes de violoniste en poche. )

    Although sometimes controversial, Mr. Gitlis is one of a kind. Close your eyes and listen. In a row of great violinists like Heifetz, Oistrakh, Francescatti, Milstein and Stern, Mr. Gitlis can be distinguished from others quite clearly. According to my opinion Mr. Gitlis is a living legend who should be mentioned in the same row as the great performers above. Mr. Gitlis has given music an unforgettable dimension.

    Più lo vedo e lo ascolto e più mi dico che,sì,bravi tutti gli altri..Shlomo,Hilary,Jascha,Isaac,Gil,Itzhak,Ruggero,Victoria,Vladimir,Maxim,David,Igor e tutto il gotha del violinismo passato e attuale.
    Ma,signori,qui, come in qualche altro pezzo,IVRY...li mette in riga tutti,quei bravoni. Questo è il violino, la quintessenza del virtuoso, della musicalità sfolgorante mai uguale a se stessa,umorale,comunicativa,stordente se vuoi,mai noiosa e prevedibile.
    E' iui la leggenda vivente. God bless!

    this is one of my favorite pieces by Saint Saens and Gitlis has the most interesting and unique interpretations of it. i'm very used to this piece being very intense but he makes it something else. something i cant describe, its just unpredictable and keeps you on your toes. he made it sound like he wrote this, he made this piece his and that makes me speechless

  • @cjh37878
    @cjh37878 15 ปีที่แล้ว +28

    He's too underrated, even by himself. Perlman's and Heifetz's vibrato more intense than Gitlis's? No way.
    I will admit that I interpreted this piece differently, and more in the fashion of Perlman, but regardless, this is one of the most interesting and, by far, one of the best interpretations of this piece.

    • @essesanus1745

    Some minor technical flaws but the unique interpretation, almost in Gypsy style, was absolutely riveting. Loved it.

    maestro, sogno di incontrarla dal primo momento in cui l'ho sentita suonare e da quando l'ho sentita parlare! a parte questo, la migliore interpretazione di questo brano!senza dubbio è una leggenda vivente ed un genio assoluto di tecnica infallibile e musicalità! imparo più a guardarlo che a studiare per una settimana! tra i miei preferiti di sempre
