- I get the following question quite a bit from readers:
"Are there any 'healing sounds' to help alleviate tinnitus?"
The answer is yes!
Today I'll tell you exactly what's going on inside your ears when you experience tinnitus, the sounds that I use whenever I experience ringing in my ears, and a list of common do's and don'ts to help curtail tinnitus flare-ups.

This is great, good to know about this. Thanks .
Hello! Now I am just waiting for sounds! Perhaps only axplaing!? Ah Sound health is the name of the lection! Thank you!
Jim, I wrote to you about two years ago and asked if you knew of any breathing/humming techniques for tinnitus. You replied that you did not. But I was using the technique discussed in this video and it helped with my tinnitus plus, hopefully, tuned my vagus nerve. I am glad you are explaining the procedure so others may find some relief. Also, I vary the pitch of my hum from very high to very low and am still trying to find what works best. I think each pitch low or high, works at different times, so I vary the humming. Now I am using tone generators, found on line, to see if that helps, just started so no results yet. I have a TENS unit that is different from others. It is hand held with adjustable strengths and three metal tips that can be switched at the business end of the tool. I plan to find my pitch/tinnitus frequency and use the TENS on my tongue. Must be careful because it creates an electrical shock so I will start at the lowest level. I will update you as I venture into this homemade treatment. Bye, for now.
