    Being a teenager during these years was so dope. Born without the internet, got it along the way, get to experience the 60's-80's music from our parents, and 90's and 2000's from our own experience. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

      @@patty8849 Sex Pistols were just a "fashionable" band with a great marketing machine behind them despite all the "rebel" and "punk atitude" that was, once again, fashionable. Maybe thats why they just released one album. Sid Vicious couldnt even play the bass and I never took them seriously. If you're gonna talk about British oldschool Punk there's a lot of much better bands out there like GBH, Chaos UK, The Adicts, Anti Nowhere League and many other.
      As for Ramones, they're on the top of my list and will always be, nothing fake about them and they're just the fathers of american punk rock, that alone says it all.

    You know what makes this music video great? They’re just in totally relatable places. Outside of a corner liquor store. At a skate park. In front of some normal looking houses. You can very easily picture yourself there. Not to mention the fashion in this video is just such the epitome of the late 90s/early aughts crossover. Such a classic.

      I think being born in the early to mid 90s and have your childhood in the in the late 90s through mid 2000s and being a teen in late 2000s was the best. Punk rock,attitude era of wrestling and some of the best video games ever. So much nostalgia from this era.

    God I fucking miss this whole wave of pop punk from the early 2000's. Now every band that somehow falls under the category of "rock" these days is either a sensitive folk indie band or some edm electro pop band that completely replaces guitars with synthesizers. I just miss the heavy guitar, catchy hooks, and infectiously fun energy that bands like Sum 41 had in the early 2000's

      Haha same I think I did like many of the songs but was in principle against modern teen rock like Green Day and their aesthetic, the way they played guitar slung low thrashing, and that it seemed people liked them mainly because of the popularity rather than necessarily the music.
