The story of the video is great. Totally un-promoted, they set up in an empty lot next to a liquor store in Pomona, California, and started playing the song over-and-over again. They had a video recording crew capturing whatever happened. None of the spectators were invited, and nothing they did was planned. They are just the odd mix of people who gradually showed up in a viral way. No doubt some of the goofy weirdness relates to them playing just the one song over-and-over again all without any explanation to the crowd that gathered to party. The video was then edited from all the video that had been captured.

Music will never be as good as it was in the early 2000s.

Sum 41 "The Hell Song" rocks and has an amazing music video all filmed with action figures of tons of people from popculture, its amazing but seems to be tough to find the video, cant locate it on youtube but dailymotion has it. if you do it, make sure to find the one im talking about its the official one that that aired on TV when the song came out!

Real talk; I like Sum 41, but I'm sad that their other singles didn't involve the other group members to the extent that this one did.
Deryck Whibley is a great songwriter and producer. But the interplay of the lyrics between the band members is what sticks out in my mind with this band.

We really need that late 90's earlier oughts vibe in music again. System of a down? Rage against the machine? Rise against? Sum 41?
That flavor of music would EXPLODE rn
