Yeah that was weird. The turtleneck outranks many pieces on this list. Layers, a nice chain etc. Wouldn’t grade my Stone Island turtleneck an F ever. That’s easily an essential piece to my wardrobe but it’s an opinion at the end of the day

As a 32yo male who is finally getting his personal wardrobe together, this is a godsend. Seriously, I’ve already spent $800 on essentials that include five S tiers and a couple A tiers, this vid makes me feel justified. Flannels can't be a c tier, they only got related to fog for a bit, but they're a timeless classic that's been used in many kinds of styles.
From his perspective I get why he’s so over flannels, certain sections of streetwear have made it look played out and cringe but give it time and almost no one will see it like that anymore

I’ve been wearing plain black and white t-shirt, simple jacket, shorts, joggers, and vans for 10 years and still wearing them to this day.
Even when Christmas time where my presents are clothes, I never wear them.
I never cared about style or trends. I just wear what I can afford.

Corduroy doesn't get the respect it deserves. It's limiting in some ways but there's so many silhouettes and colors and patterns, some subtle & some not at all. I used to wear far more vibrant clothing but I've switched to more neutral stuff as I've gotten older, still slip in some of the old wardrobe but yeah lmao

corduroy is a material imo and isnt a piece. Like, I have a corduroy cap which is an essential and is quite flexible. But becomes limited in other forms/situations like button ups and when in the summer time. It's aight I guess.

A black turtleneck goes with literally anything, for men and women.
Coat in B tier is absolutely criminal, maybe New York streetwear meta doesn’t care for coats too much but it’s possibly the most essential/timeless article of clothing on the vid aside from hygiene and maybe the leather boots. The same pea coat can work with streetwear all the way up to formal clothing in colder seasons

I like most of your list here. My one gripe is that it's mostly for casual users which is totally fine. Would love to see you make a more formal ranking list. I use my bomber jacket when I wear a pair of slacks, dress shirt and a tie and it dresses it down nicely without making it look too casual or formal. Sick vids though man!

As a fat teen boy, my fit involves the least baggy clothes I can wear without outlining my skin. So usually gray or khaki chinos, your average solid color t-shirt, sneakers, like the ones in B tier, and finally, the most important part, the unbuttoned button up shirt. It hides the fat rolls and makes my look rating go from a 3/10 to a 5/10. I also for the watched black wristband and gold watch.

@@dvm7005 gotta style it differently. I like longer coats in general but bombers and biker jackets need to be worn carefully. If you don't like the length maybe try layering a longer shirt underneath. Also need to consider body type of course. Some people have longer torsos and it may be more difficult

I feel like white sneakers are really popular with people your age 23-27. I don’t feel like they aren’t as popular with others, aside from the white Air Force.
Also flannels had a crazy run I did start wearing them because fog and Travis in like 2014 and by 2019 I thought they were already played out and this year was when it really hit the mainstream and I see everyone erring flannels.
Im referring to the Vans authentic, common projects, Stan smith, the slim white sneaker. I don’t see those as much as I used to. I remember they were big during 2014-2018

Longsleeve Drama: Longsleeve are goated if you wanna maybe save some money on a crewneck. They are the smaller version but they can save you some cash while most of the time still having the same design or premise to wear over something.
there are some pretty cheap crewnecks settling for a long sleeve tho feels wrong because it's kind of unstructured and has a drapey shape can't really wear it on top of something since it's thin it'll show like any wrinkle that might be under it IMO.
I’m not the biggest fan of flannels but you can throw them on as effortless as to skinny jeans and you have a layered outfit with nice contrast (depends on flannel and fit) I don’t see flannels leaving the masses wardrobe anytime soon I’d put in between c/b it’s just so played out now

Love it all except trousers(tailored) and overcoats(where the weather demands them) are def a S tier essential past a certain age. Job interviews, work, date nights, and just wanting to look a bit more put together. And they work well with the other S tier essentials on the list 👍
