The don't be ugly be hot deserves a whole video by itself, also "mild satisfaction" is a a state of mind, it describes like 90% of life, is anyone more than mildly satisfied for more that 10 minutes? just saying... Love you! can hear you for hours
0:19 Here's my advice for older guys: Wear a lot of gray and brown only and cover yourself in dust for a nice aged sheen. Make sure to carry a news paper with you at all times, maybe a phonebook if you feel like accessorizing. When you see youngsters, scoff at them, it shows your dominance and confidence in your mature self. And whatever you do, take yourself very seriously and DO NOT VISIBLY HAVE FUN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
Man, you really helped me out. My mommy told me I have a sucky style, So thanks for helping me out. I will try these out, and hoepfully My mommy will learn to love me more.
My number one tip is learn what effect you wanna give off. strong n badass? delicate yet masculine? Add and subtract elements to increase or decrease the effect
I'm almost spamming comments about this now but: think about what vibes you even can give off. Adding something delicate or masculine can definitely have the opposite effect so it's best to analyse yourself first, Kibbe body typing system is relatively easy for a high reward
Yeah, so last time I followed Coco Chanels advice I got arrested for walking past my local high school without pants on and you know what? The pigs did NOT want to hear about it. My orange jumpsuit *did* complement their blue uniforms, though... so I feel like in the end I won.
I don't think "have fun" has anything to do with finances AT ALL. You can have fun with fashion from a thrift store. Heck, I'd even argue thrift stores can be MORE fun because of the unique items you find. That's telling kids the only way you can have fun is going to Disney World for 2 weeks and staying at 5 star hotels. You can definitely have just as much fun camping or doing free activities.
It does for fashion tho, there’s no thrift store in my city nor good thrift store in the country unfortunately. How can I have fun then ? Ordering ? Sure I’ll have INSANE custom fee for every order over a 100. Basically if you want good thrift store you need to live in a major city, which mean a higher coast of life, which makes it related to finances. Don’t fool yourself thinking fashion as a hobby isn’t expensive.
Meanwhile people are picking up $500 t shirts from thrift stores cause the hype is so big. It's probably gonna be pretty expensive overal, but we all have fun our own ways, and we very well might have some good options to be cost effective. Mine was to save up money I'd normally spend on clothes before and after my spree, and front-load purchases that I had properly thought out, I just get so many more combinations and my clothes last an ungodly amount of time. It was about moving the fun from the store to the closet for me. This spree was like 1-2 years ago and I have not had to wear the same outfit twice (I have cause some are sick though), cause I REALLY thought about picking up stuff that has many combinations I love. I have not had to buy ANY clothes since then, and 99% of the clothes still look so fresh. Before making such a move, try stuff out of course. The same place that sells sweats that start to droop, wash out and wear out after 10 washes may sell ones that look fresh after years of wear, and pricing is usually a mere suggestion. That is the sort of timespan you'd have to wait to be sure, and then the store has to keep selling those pieces once you can make the judgment, it ain't easy, you'll need patience and it won't always pay off. Nowadays I'm super familiar with my clothes and have clarity regarding what would give me most value from here, a mixed dark gray oversized zipper hoodie is something I'm looking out for, for example. It'd flexibly go with so many things I have, that currently are only good for a lesser amount of outfits. The beauty of having so much I would've otherwise only gotten later or worn out sooner is I don't need that zipper, though.
@@JeuneF I live in a tiny town with 600 people and nearest city is 20k. Don't fool yourself into thinking you have to spend a lot of money to have fun. You can be frugal and have fun.
For all the designer items I've bought, I've always had the most fun with thrift finds tbh. But I also love DIY/modding and thrifting is truly the best way to do that
@@JeuneFit's dependent on region obviously, the main comment is for people who have access to thrift stores. If more people who can thrift, do choose to thrift, it benefits everyone long term. If none of those things exist where you are, there are likely town Facebook groups where you can rally the community to put together a second hand event. It's not going to fix any systemic issues, but people make do.

coming back a year later and understanding proportions has been my #1 tip. you can make any piece work as long as you have another piece that compliments the proportions. 10/10 tip
The two best bits of style advice I've gotten are: "if you want to dress better, be fitter" and the "conventionality balance" where more conventionally attractive you are the less conventional you can dress. If you are not conventionally attractive, you don't get to be fashionable, just wear a suit.

My advice is to have a small closet, buy a few pieces of clothing but quality items, in order to stay up to date is simple, since you have a small closet you will have to wear your stuff and remove some items of clothing as time goes by and ad new clothing. You will save money, get your moneys worth, stay up to date and have better clothing choice do to the limitation. Pretty much a UNIFORM.
