Love the cofidence the vocalists had. When a singer is confident, their voice projects so much better
I was a 12 year old Swedish boy when this came out. I am sitll moved by this song. Oh boy, you young guys honor us. What a high class, super groovy, performance! Wow! Thank you so much American kids!
that bass is next level :D awesome
The girls did a good job sounding like ABBA !!!
Always so nice to see youngsters singing and playing old forevergreens. Makes me think there's still hope for all of us.
Liked this video a lot. ABBA harmonies are extremely difficult, which is why they were so good. These kids made a great attempt at them! Well done!
Thank you so much!
The voices were largely drowned out purposely because they weren't that strong. The girl flipping, and playing with her hair, needs to concentrate on her singing . The music otherwise was pretty good . Nice job .
@@dogbig02 Disagree about your first comment and why would you say that? She's singing and playing a guitar. She's allowed to flip her hair when she wants..
So beautiful Girl ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Want to see more from both Halle and Ava.
This song always brings a smile to my face
i grew up to this song and have seen them live this is proof that our generation of music was the best and these kids are realiseing it to i love it
The BASS!!! Amazing dude!
Wonderful job on Dancing Queen ABBA would be proud. Way to go .
this is cool to watch because halle is one of the teachers at the school of rock i go to!
That's very cool! Some of my favorite school of rock kids, especially all stars, went to music school and then returned to teach at a school of rock.
wow this allstar team was on !
Great performance!!!
Love these kids. Doing a great job. Singing the good old songs. .
me encanta ese grupo saca buenos covers les pongo un 10
This is just SO good
Fantastic!!
7 years ago, fun .... where are these girls at now?? Girl in middle had cute moves (... was enjoying singing the song).
They sound just like abba😃
Number One, 1977. Good job.
Beautiful 💖
Very, very, very well done!
So well done. Kudos to them all!
Excelente me encantó 😁👌
Tocaron. Muy. Bien. Este. Tema. Felicitaciones. Chicos. Soy Juan de arg
done very well, and i am not even a abba fan. But this is a lot of fun, enjoy it!
Fantastic
Nailed it!
From Brasil, beautiful , congratulations!
Muito bom!! Parabéns!!!!
Lots of fun!
Awesome!!!!!!!!!
Thanks i enjoy my playlist and uk 🇬🇧 😊 and Ukrainian
This is great ABBA harminies are NOT easy.
Very nice!
Excellent cover. 🤘
Kickin' ass!
Bravo!
I wish the piano was turned up more in the mix....It really is the star of this song!
Yes. the piano was too far back in the mix
LEMMYs favorite band,,,, ABBA 🤟
Lemmy was one of a kind. Damned shame he's gone.
like it....woow
I'm not much on covers from anyone, but TH-cam has changed my mind about them. These young adults from School of Rick give it their all and they sound pretty good. I enjoy listening to them.
É moito lindo para bens 🎀🎶🎵
It's over a year later, and I do not understand why there are only 876 "likes" for this video. What the hell?
Good!
wow
Guarantee you that before these kids got this song they'd never even heard of Abba
You'd be wrong. Pretty much every piece of music ever recorded is available to them via their phones. Why would you doubt they'd explore it? At this school I knew a 15-year-old girl whose favorite band was _Emerson Lake and Palmer,_ a 17-year-old whose favorite song was _Tupelo Honey._
Great song but their voices were largely drowned out, but I've been told that mic-ing these live venues is tough.
Keyboard was great!
Hey you ! Get up and dance with these kids.....!
I was dancing, but I was up in the balcony with my cameras.
@@MidWestConcertVideo2 I was dancin' as fast as my arthritic knees'll let me !!
p.s. this was some 7 years ago, does School of Rock ever keep track of where their graduates are or do any of them keep in touch with their instructors or fellow musicians? These "kids" have probably all graduated college by now (2002).
I know half a dozen AllStars who got into Berklee, and a couple who now teach at the School of Rock while pursuing their own musical careers.
MidWest Concert Video you do a great job. More Grateful Dead... and Phish and Widespread Panic and Floyd and Springsteen and Black Crowes and ...
✊🏼✊🏼😉✌🏼💀🐢⚡️🌹🌎🌀
They needed to up the PC.....The girls voices should have been amplified better..........
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My local AM radio station played this into the ground when I was little. I swear it was in rotation every 22 minutes. To this day I still hate them for it.
Sorry you didn't appreciate it at the time.
MidWest Concert Video, as Hesiod said, moderation is best in all things.
This song is pop genius never replicated
👍
wicked!!!!
Which is Halle and Which is Ava ?
Are Halle and Ava still singing anywhere?
Probably, but they're not from a school that I know.
I run a sound board...there’s a slider right above the label that says “lead mic”..how about sliding those up. Or bumping the gain a bit.
Sadly, I get what I get from the stereo feed. Hopefully, with the prevalence of digital boards like the x32, in the future I'll be able to get isolated microphones.
you’re talking about the live performance right? Not editing and posting the video. Because I’m talking about the live performance… I don’t know of a soundboard that doesn’t let you isolate microphones in a live setting.
Great cover. Mixer: more vocal
Ally Roundy American Idol?
Posting these 7 years after the fact ? Hmm, why not when they were originally done?
My original plan was to sell DVDs to their parents, so I would only put up a couple of videos per show as a sample. Now of course nobody wants DVDs so I put all the rest up hoping to make money from ads.
Why on all of these school of rock all star performances are there never male singers?
That's not the case, there are plenty, but it is true there are more young women learning to sing in the School of Rock than young men.
michael was right on the point exactly my thoughts dont you just hate that
Love this but some of the low notes in the first verse or two are out of the singers' range . . .
Fair enough. Did you see the other ABBA All-Star performance?

@@MidWestConcertVideo2 Not sure I did. Where?
Again ... a performance .. ruined by the sound engineer not bringing the mics up enough to overpower the instruments. Only good thing, is that he did not let the drums take over keyboard or guitars that much.
1:22 The mic is picking up the dark haired girls hard sole boots off and on thru the video
If I paid all that money for my kid to go to the school of rock and she played the tambourine, I'd be pissed.
The full concert is up in my channel and you'll see that she sings plenty.
get over it

Mamma mia che orrore!
Band flawless, girls need some work. Off key many times. Harmonizing needs work. Valiant effort.
Would it have killed that kid to do the double hit snare stall once?
Fucking crucial.
Don’t like Abba .Like Ava
somebody is out of tune
No. The harmony is just louder than the lead.
Cool video, very talented musicians, but the singers are very much out of tune. No way on Gods Green Earth could I ever do better. Great job overall.
The singing is rather flat, lack of emotion.
Butchered a ClassiC ....
