I was in that audience with my little sister on my shoulders and my little brother ( now deceased). It was very exciting, originally we were up the back on the bleachers, then I moved us down to just 20-30 feet from the stage. What an experience, and very expensive for my postman father (deceased too), I was just over 16 years old.. what a memory.
Abba was not just a group it was a phenomenon. I was a kid when I taken by their music and voice of Agnetha. Now, at 64, I am still a fan of ABBA.....Thankyou ABBA
Imagine parents who introducing a beautiful music to their children in such a young age. That would be a placed in their core memory for decades to come. I'm one of them !
In the 70th everything started to be allowed within music but it was the last time you could go to a real gig before MTV started. All those really expensive concerts with Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper with his snake, Kiss dressed in black, The Queen in white. It got very important to get a special style together with your music. David Bowie performed Ziggy Stardust and even the Stones showed up with their red tongue symbol the first time --- love from Sweden ❤❤❤

There will be tribute groups of Abba for decades to come, I am sure of that, such was the impact of their absolutely wonderful, gorgeous songs that the group had in the 70's/early 80's.

Back in the day I was in my 20s and Abba wasn't my thing ,,didn't dislike them just not for me , now seeing this near 50 yrs later they were talented and pretty darn good.
Me I liked them from start , that was late in the 70's tv was not so common then ,it was thru FM radio stations and cassettes tapes . I even watched their concert tour in Australia thru the movies , which I think includes this as a footage.
I was never a big Beatles, Bee Gees or ABBA fan back then. I have a much greater appreciation for them now at 58. Looking back, those bands were absolutely incredible.
True... but it was not intended. The songs were/are such high quality. Their arrangements, use of instruments, those vocals... those melodies. They were continuously shocked and astounded by their own level of success. But, to them, it was all about the quality of the song.... that was number one. They have tons of great songs that were never hit singles at all. Even those are impressive... and many defy genre. You wouldn't know what type of music to classify it as. Such wonderful people..... soft-spoken, low-key, private, reserved.... but yet so warm, kind, classy and genuinely gracious. They always were. Never an unkind word. Never sought world domination. And, they always left you wanting more. Who does that today ?

Those kids in the audience are now in their 40s and 50s...time waits for no one!

I bet the little girl at 1:11 watches this over and over! Bloody lovely to see.
This rare footage of ABBA’s performance from nearly 47 years ago is breathtaking and will give you goosebumps.
The music, the excitement, the old and young, all enjoying themselves, this is what music is all about, and ABBA is this ❤❤❤❤
Immortal. Their music will live forever
What current music will be this popular in 40 years? Greatest pop song ever written
This is probably the greatest pop song ever made.
I was there with my beautiful English wife Valerie. ❤ What a show!!
Я Вам от всего сердца завидую....
I am 60 listening this song since my high school days. Still good, no better than this.
Frida is the most awesome woman the world has ever seen. She is a great performer with a beautifull heart and she can be humorous as well
Agnetha, too!!
Im a rock and metal guy my whole life. But this is absolute beautiful and timeless music. Masterpiece from one in a million talent.

曲自体素晴らしいが、なんと言っても、どんな状況でもボーカル二人の歌唱力が安定して上手い。声質と伸び、ハーモニーが素晴らしい👏
So wholesome.. little kids, no phones, just fun times ❤
Exactly! Magical.
I was born in 1971, so I grew up listening to 70s and 80s music. This song was, and still is, a favorite!
The best group of 1977. It reminds me of my flashback when I was young.
My favorite song from the skating ⛸️ rink days!!! Love ❤️ her!!!
To see the young children dancing away makes me almost cry. So much fun in this kind of music !
But it was true.
It’s crazy how I had to listen to this as a toddler with my mom rocking her 45 record singles and 8 track tapes wile she would clean the house
