I have listened to this probably 30 times and the strength, clarity, the honesty, and range of this young lady is crazy .
The same from here. 25 times.
50 times here.

@@chileroads7031 One time and it moved me!
Because voice!
@@chileroads7031 Ditto!
Lead singer is just beyond awesome, but kudos to the whole band. What a great performance.
I wish these young singers would OPEN up their mouths and stop clenching their jaws when they sing!!! They all do it!!! It takes away from the song and it stifles how much better they could sing.
The 4 string is carrying this song like a man. Hats off Mr. Bass Man. The lead singer sounds like a country singer doing an R&B song and she did it perfectly. She stayed straight, didn't try to copy the original just did her thing, no BS growls just singing. A true blue old school country girl singer, hard to find nowadays. California Dreaming and this, top two.
I think this is the best "School of Rock" they've done. That lead singer...wow!
Best "School of Rock" they've done? Wow, an extreme statement, but, yep, absolutely, I agree ! She's should make it I say, unless she has a bunch of babies and then waits tables at Applebee's. A brutal industry. My son was a Manager for a band in Nashville. We should start a fund to get her started to be discovered.
Completely agree. Great vocals including the supporting vocals. And the bass player is dope!
She is average and just ok. Go listen to Gladys Knight if you want wow.
@@sharonsmith2771 Consider her age. I think she has a lot of potential. See if she is as good as Gladys Knight in 30 years.
@@jeffbergstrom I doubt anyone will know of her or care what she sounds like in 30 years. 😊
They captured the essence of this song perfectly. The vocals are outstanding from lead to backing.
Eleanor is very gifted. Back in the day she could have been the original singer of this song. I'm 77
Same, and I’m 70
Need more of Eleanor. We will pay for it. Just let us know where to listen to her.
I have listened to this probably 12 or 15 times. Can't get enough of it. I love to see talent like this. Kudo's to the entire
production!!
She gets better every time I listen to this .
The blond blows anyone away I’ve seen on American Idol. Sign her up. Contract now.
I hear you there buddy. I wish I had one one hundredth of the talent she has.
Wow, the lead is great!
You can see that Eleanor does not only sing this song, she feels it with every part of her body. Wonderful! And the rest of the band is also awesome. What a performance 😍
Lead singer sings this like she lived a lifetime of pain. Wonderful job to everyone.
I think Gladys would be pleased with this fresh cover by young people who were not even born when the Pips released this.
I hope this young lady records an album, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. What an astonishingly wonderful voice.....
From the first words "L.A" - WOOOOOW! - Eleanor puts heart, soul and feeling into her performance, with outstanding band and backing vocals, this is a gem of a cover which stays true and IMO rivals the original, Gladys would be proud. Love this song for many years - Beautifully done
This along with the California Dreaming cover are top notch. Keep the oldies alive youngsters...
Absolutely a beautiful young lady and wish her the world!
This is the best music video, of all time, on TH-cam.
This group of young musicians are very talented, but this young lady singing the lead just blows me away.
She has definitely got that wow factor.
And I must give some complements to the back up vocals, they were on point.
HAS to be my favorite "School of Rock" video.
Definitely mine.
I must have played this about 50 times since I first played it two weeks ago.
I can't get enough of her beauty and voice.
California Dreaming excellent too. This is definitely on my play list as well. Eleanor is awesome and the backup singers were perfect.
CF de la empresa y te lo envío en el momento no se puede hacer el pago ☺️ que se le notifica que cualquier Gracias por
The lead singer puts a lot of feeling and soul into her performance. Someone giver her a job!
The singers are amazing, this version is incredible. The singer lead is from another planet. She makes this version the best song of School of Rock.
Eleanor is the very best "Torch Singer" I have heard in a long time. She will be a Superstar! God Bless.
Eleanor Bangle is absolutely stunning and her voice is absolutely amazing. Please use her more often and please show if she has a list songs so that we can enjoy them.❤😊
I agree but this is her only lead. I can't figure out why. She's got an incredible blues voice. She could easily do gospel and soul music. The singer is a star. I can't praise her enough.
Eleanor Bangle is "on fire" on this rendition. And the whole band, vocals, music, drums,... is completely behind covering her performance. If Gladys Knight is the Empress of soul, you, Eleanor, as minimum, are the crown princess. You made me so glad watching this. TY!!!!!!
You obviously don’t listen to much much music.
Such a hater
This is a pretty good version by high school kids.@@cpj83
@@cpj83 Perhaps you did, but you obviously didn't understand a thing.
@@mickhancox8014 not a hater! But to call a little girl with limited range the the Empress of soul? Cmon. Aretha, Whitney, Patti ring a bell? She did well but…
These ladies need to do more duets! Their voices work very well together!
I'm in disbelief that no one in the music industry has chased this lead singer down yet...that vocal was something...moving and unique. From her nailing the first lyric of "L.A.", my ear brows went straight up...
Most of these kids will never make it in the music industry, while some very average performers make millions. I can't work it out.
Her vibrato is sweet as heaven
Of all the School of Rock through the years, this is one of the special ones.
What a performance of a timeless song. That young lady's singing voice brought tears to my eyes.
I've watched this incredible video maybe 30 times and with all due respect to Gladys Knight, there is no doubt it's as good, maybe even better in its own way, than the original. And that is truly saying something.
From a 72 year old guy , the lead singer is something else, the whole band is amazing, someone sign them up
Wow... She is awesome. Though it was only a cover, it still brought me back to that era I grew up listening to Gladys Night & the Pips.... Bravo
P.S. The backups were just as captivating.
Probably the best School of Rock song there is. She is the real deal. The whole band is. I listening to hear is the bass has the motown chops and he does.
Unbelievable. I'm an old time Motown fan... and have worshiped Glays for so long. She should be so proud of this cover. What a performance... as such a tribute to one of the greatest American songs of our time.
Fifty years ago I saw Gladys Knight sit on a stool and sing this song and I fell in love. It has been an all time favorite that I still listen to alot. I've heard many others do this song and a couple of them were OKish. When I heard this version though I fell in love again. I couldn't find this young ladys name so I could find more from her. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves and we get the joy of hearing her more.
Eleanor has an amazing voice.
This young woman knows how to work an audience. Magnificent.
The young lady who's on lead,-- Oh, my, word!!🙄😳 she's actually performing way, way beyond her years-❤ !
While the world is slowly falling apart, I find hope and comfort in this beautiful recording and the many kind comments ❤
That singer put her heart and soul into that song. Gladys Would be moved and honored.
These kids are more than real good. They have a bright future in front of them.
We’ll see how bright. I thinks it’s even harder to make the big time today. There’s A LOT artists out there and it’s more complicated now - it isn’t about cutting a song with a B Side and getting it played at the radio stations everyone listens to. Those days are gone.
A truly wonderful rendition of a song that moves the soul. Cudos especially to the young lady lead singer!!
That young lady has won me over , never ever have I heard a more powerful rendition, Gladys be rolling over and so proud
The lead singer knocked it out of the park !!!
I LOVE the vibrato in Eleanor's voice!!!
It’s great to see a new generation absolutely own a classic.
Forget The Voice. She's right here. Good Lord! What a sound and style she brings to this song! And her fellow band mates are excellent!
All the vocals in this cover are excellent, but the lead vocalist is something special. Wow. She really made this her own.
special? hahahahahahahaha!!!! FLAT, PITCHY, FORCED VIBRATO, karaoke at best...
@@billywilson303 said the guy with 46 subscribers, smdh, I saw your singing, lol
@@jaro3688 I'm not here for subscriber's because I'm not a 10 year old, and please show me you can do better Jethro
@@billywilson303 you should change the name of your band to “ Low Point”
@@billywilson303 She’s a young contralto and it’s difficult to find the right material and teacher for this voice type. I think she’s doing absolutely amazing for her age. I’m an older contralto and I still have a difficult time trying to transition octaves while keeping my tone consistent.
This is one of the best School of Rock Allstar performances EVER.
Ya think? O my gaud.
The California Dreaming for a few years ago is in the same level. The lead it that made it though a few weeks of the Voice at Age 16th-cam.com/video/GlG-vN8i9Qc/w-d-xo.html
My favorite.

I never thought a group could make this song BETTER than the Original, but they DID. I think I'll bookmark this one.
From the Southeast USA.
.
this is the Best version that I have heard in years!!!!!! the lead singer just hit the spot , her voice in this song is top notch her expression wow , can't get any better than this...
Eleanor is SOMETHING ELSE! She is a force. I'd love to hear her sing "Black Velvet."
Eleanor has a voice that reminds me so much of a young lady that was from Port Arthur TX. We all know who that is. Eleanor sings with so much passion and makes this very difficult song look so easy. It's clear to me that this young lady can punch her own ticket and do what ever she wishes. Keep striving and you'll one day enjoy the fruits of your labor.
This so good, I do belive these singers leave Gladys behind, they do justice to this song. Great job Eleanor
I can listen to this over and over. That lead singer is awesome!
I've watched many of these School of Rock videos and they have all been well done technically. The one thing I have felt that is lacking in the main vocalists aren't singing like they mean it. It often comes across as if they don't understand the song or don't attack it with their talent. They sing it fine but they just are "feeling it." This lass tho? She gets its. So well done, Moving with feeling. If you can move this old woman's heart you've nailed it. Thank you!
Well said
I commented before, but I will comment again. They were all great; but if that lead singer puts out an album, I’m buying it. Her voice and presence really moved me.
_INCREDIBLE_ !
@@dancarter482 That vibrato is exquisite.
@@jeffreybauer3647 Like a titanium fist in a velvet glove!
The WHOLE production is _PURE_ Motown ~ those young cats make my eyes sting.
Ya , something very special about her . I'm gonna have to put some leed guitar 🎸 to that song and send it to her ....I know it has all ready got it . . . But a I little more candy on top makes it pop nicely. I was practicing with it quite a bit.
Know kidding hey
WOW!!!! Excellant job by all! The sound engineer had them dialed in perfectly!
I am obssesed with this. It blows me away every time. The Lead singer and the backing singers are incredible. The band is also on point. I love this!
her expression when she says " uh uh " is captivating. this is the best version ever
I have watched this ten times. She is amazing. I hope she has a bright musical future but the two on backing vocals are killing it as well. Those backing vocals are statements, and they are driving it home. I love watching young musicians like this give these classics such respect.
Lead singer makes Gladys proud,spectacular.
Lanie Gardner became a star on one song by Fleetwood Mac - I think Eleanor Bangle has found hers with Gladys Knight. Hope the very best for her future - she surly has one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow! She brought it down to Georgia! Impressed to the max. She owned that song.. Wow!
Eleanor should be signed to a major label. She has the gift. Love her.
Most of these kids , unfortunately, will go into other careers.
This young lady singing this song is simply Awesome!!!!!!!! This is the sixth time I listened to this song: the best that I have ever repeatedly listened to any song would be at the most 3 times.
We have it on repeat as well!
Just noticed this and thought I would take a look and was absolutely stunned at this magical performance. I'm 75 yrs. young and this takes me back to the sixties and it's now Sept. 2023. Can listen to this over and over. Thank you!
...and over, and over, and...
I'm 58 and remember Gladys. This is a refreshing remake and I love it. Must have played this 25 times now. So good.
Wow so amazing. I’m a new fan They need an Emmy!
phrasing, tone, warble, pitch, controlled dynamics - everything.
This is a tough song to do well, because it's tied to just one singer. The group has created a really nice rendition of this 1970s classic. Well done to everyone!
Those lead vocals! And the bass player really got this right (as did the drummer).
loved it , i am 73 and this redition by this group is so good a 100% performance with feeling very rare nowadays
You go, girl!! There's a place for you in music.
Hey, girl, you go, you sing that on America's Got Talent, and you should be offered contracts to record. One of my favorite performances ever, and I'm 74. I love music, I sing, play guitar, have some songs on youtube. You got it going, best cover on youtube IMO and the song choice lyrics permit you to show your talent, timing, voice, rhythm.....
Eleanor resembles Florence Pugh and sings with the bluesy passion of Janis Joplin. I've lost track of how many times I've watched this. I love how she starts the song and how she brings it down at 1:02. This young lady has a bright future if music is what she wants to do.
More Eleanor? Yes, Please......
That lead singers voice is fucking butter. Could listen to her all day.
Once they bit the groove, it all came together and it was “show over.” Cmon, these are kids, I shouldn’t be getting chills. Listened to this a bunch. Great job.
It is amazing how a teenager can convey so much pain after only living less than 20 years.
Eleanor…you knocked it out of the park! Damn!
Abstract painting emerged when earlier figurative and realistic painting masterpieces were made impossible to surpass. It was the most logical next step. Modern metal is only about speed and brutality, which, after a very short while, gets absolutely boring. Music needs space in order to let creativity show its face. I like the fact that many quite young aspiring musicians and artists explore other areas, different approaches, sounds, grooves, while leaving their personal touch on various renditions of classic pop or rock pieces. It's refreshing, inspiring and very exciting. Keep it up young friends, you're doing good, and you're making your parents proud.
The best school of rock video ever put out, the lead singer is awesome 👌
I've heard and liked this song since 1973 when it first came out. This is the first time it brought tears to my eyes.
I believe Gladys would smile a big smile.
This version actually brought tears to this man's eyes. My all-time favorite Motown Hit, I've been covering this since I was knee-high to a Pip. Everyone was great, but Eleanor...dear you nailed it, and it showed in your face, your actions, your entire stage demeanor.
"Brought tears to your eyes"? Surely you jest.
@@amantedelcane420 A sad comment from a sad little man
Great to see this young generation of musicians nailing this!
The lead singer has a sensual voice. Nice performance by all.
brought tears to my eyes
I was taken back, expected a so-so performance.... but the lead singer out did the original singer ... you go girl!
The vocals were stunning. Every bit as good as the original. The talent of these young people is amazing.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, outstanding performance by everyone. Eleanor Bangle really shines...
No group will ever top Gladys and the Pips original but these young folks give it a great ride!! I've listened to it more than 10 times now on different days and I expect that I'll click on it several more times.!!!
Totally agree lead singer took over this song. Harmony was real good.
Wow! Her tone and feel for the song is out of this world.
That voice, reminds me of Adele, it's so understated, but when she ramps it up it makes the song sparkle. That level of raw talent is hard to find, she has one hell of career ahead of her...
I hope Eleanor Bangle did not board that midnight train to Georgia because she's a superstar.
Oh my God, what a beautiful voice. She captures the emotion perfectly.
Got that right. Nice!!
These kids just nail this music, and treat it with the respect that classics deserve.
THE BEST SINGING ON SCHOOL OF ROCK ANYTIME
This was great by all the performers. However the lead singer has something special that just grabs you. I hope she gets her chance to make it big.
