Bonnie Tyler had a lot of gravel in her voice, whereas Ava has an Alto voice which is full in range and powerful because of her age.

Vocalist handled the mic issue well. She pulled the mic from the stand and the cable disconnected. No panic. Use the mic next to her and keep going. Good job by sound/equipment person(s) to get another mic on stage rapidly for the other musician/vocalist. You never know what will happen in a live performance.

I was shooting a show and one kid accidentally knocked the microphone out of this issue with the neck of his guitar and feedback started. Before the sound engineer figured out what happened, another kid came over and adjusted the microphone back, stopping the feedback.
That kid was maybe 10 or 11.

At the 1:00 mark, not sure why the mic change? The first one seemed okay. Cool seeing all these youngsters covering the old classics. No better way to truly appreciate a great song than to perform it. It probably takes dozens and dozens of rehersals to nail it.
It might have been a case of that microphone just not being in the monitors.
