      Dear Kelly, I'm just listening-in on this and I'm at the moment where you explain day and night charts. It's actually very clear, and then I just had a flash of insight about those people who are born close to the arctic circle, for ex. people born in Scandinavia where they have times in a year with very, very long days and also very, very long nights. Now I do see the sense in using whole house charts yet with such occurrences would it not make more sense then to use Placidus?
      For instance, it's summer and it does not get dark until maybe 11pm, and someone is born at let's say 10pm or 10:30pm and it's still light outside, which means in a whole house chart the sun will show up below the horizon.
      What would you recommend for such an occurrence?
      Thanks.

      @@Ya_Love Good Question. I´m born at lat 65. 25th of june, almost all use Placidus "up here". I am mixing. And I am scratching my head sometimes when some of the houses are really small, or really big in some birth charts. If that happens I use WSH or Equal house to get some order...

    • @Ya_Love
      @Ya_Love 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@gattonelcielo - same thing here. Looking back upon my own life I can filter-out what house is correct and what is not. It still does not help to go all in when you look for example at the transits coming up for the next year, or so.
      I consider two houses then and all one can do is to observe how things really play out.

    Great guest! Might be important to point out that Mars is not just in it's Fall in Cancer due to default. The planet of war isn't at home in the sign of nesting and nurturing. It's more helpful to people with Mars in Cancer if you help them identify whether they are prone to passive aggression or not and to encourage keeping it in check.

I am just finishing it up and it really has helped me to understand what Kelly is talking about for the most part. I would be interested to know how Heather's program is regarded by others into traditional Hellenistic astrology.

    I picked up when you said that you're more concerned about a planet when it stations 'direct' rather than when it is in retrograde motion, which does make sense.
    Now, I just discovered that my True Nodes stationed Direct when I was born.
    Does this hold any significance in regards to the nodes as well? .... and if so what type of significance? ... after all the nodes 'set the stage' for ones life.
    Does this mean one can see life, or even ones own life clearer? ... kinda like being able to see things from a birds-eye-perspective, honing in?

    Question about the MC vs the 10th house. When we are looking at the strong points and the "angular houses," in whole sign house system sometimes the MC is found outside of the 10th. So then, does the house where the MC is found take on angular characteristics and become more prominent and strong, or does the 10th house remain angular despite the MC being in the 9th or 11th?

  • @Ya_Love
    @Ya_Love 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Interesting about when a planet is combust.
    Makes me wonder how this plays out when the Sun is already moving away from that planet.
    Could this be that right before birth there was an issue in that regard depending upon the planet that was/is affected by the Sun?
    What if it's not a planet that is safe from combustion in its own sign but for example Venus in detriment in SCO in the 5th (her assigned house as per your chart Kelly) and the Sun which by house rulers (ARI as the Asc) which makes the Sun the 5th house ruler placement in general, so the Sun has moved on about 2deg to 3deg. passed her already? ... which actually translates this combustion to about two to three days before birth. How badly is Venus affected here, given the fact that she's already in detriment in SCO?
    Another question would be in regards to the traditional house-rulers vs. those assigned to the wheel at the beginning of this documentation, where Mercury rules the 1st house, the Moon the 3rd, Venus the 5th and so forth. What are these ruler-ships based upon?
    And what happens to those houses in your chart-assignment that do not have a ruler in it?
    Oh, in Maya Angelou's Chart I noticed that her Jupiter is conj. her Sun in the 9th, which by regular assignment Jupiter rules the 9th because of SAG, while in your lay-out it's the house where the Sun finds its joy as well! :-)
    In regards to Emma Watson, her Mercury also is conj. her Part of Fortune, which also is an additional aspect for her wealth in my seeing, because Mercury is her chart-ruler.
    Then Jupiter is exalted in Cancer while trining her exalted Venus in Pisces, and since this Mercury/Part of Fortune conj. is in sextile by house to both of the other two houses this truly makes for great significance. This trine, in my seeing, looks like it worked out as to come into full effect due to correct partnerships, correct choice of career in a correct environment for her and results in 'a wish fulfilled' :-)
    I love following along with your explanations, Kelly.
    Thanks for such vast amount of wonderful information.

    The reason Mars is in its fall in Cancer is because Mars is direct one pointed intelect which acts on instinct as a good soldier will and cancer makes it overly emotional and kills the instinctive bold active nature of Mars. Just imagine a soldier on the battle field feeling conflicted about why he has to fight, he wouldn't last too long in the battle field.

    • @teatime009
      @teatime009 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Mars in Cancer can have extreme anger issues. Kelly covered it quickly but didn't stay on the point long... it has more to do with how Cancer (opposite) Capricorn must be easy to heat up, and not "deep" waters like Scorpio, which is the strategic Mars. It is bad for us in the way that it can boil our water quickly. In a positive aspect, it can make for a great musician. It attacks piano keys and notes, lol. Cancer is also very instinctive ( you may have actually meant "impulsive"), but the instincts are self protection from outside pressures, yet it's an attacking type planet. We can't attack people when we feel threatened, it's psycho, lol. Anyway, those are a couple of the reasons, and to pin those delineations on an original source principle, remember that Capricorn is exactly opposite, and it's the cold place that exalts Mars. It's not that Mars is cold in Cancer, I think it's that it easily heats Cancer waters.
