Here's some information to remember, each movie had a different design for Megatron. Ao you should compare a few Megatron toys from each movie. You should also do Soundwave and Shockwave soon.
I feel like SS jazz looks good but I fear of scratching the silver paint but with these old figures I don't have to worry about the silver paint as well. Which may or may not bring another reason why the older figures are better
The Jazz Human Alliance figure is one of the best transformers IMO. Great in both modes, fun to transform and even has interior and holds driver and passenger.
SS Ratchet has to be the most paint starved figure in all of Studio Series. I'm getting the premium finish version as I missed out on the mold but christ it's barely better. After getting the MPM Ratchet KO all other versions of the character just look like unpainted dollar store toys.
I'd love a return to human alliance but to be that big to fit a figure today it'd probably cost almost as much as a movie masterpiece to see how much Hasbro demands for tiny tiny deluxe classes today. Those things were nearly double the size for half the price!
I honestly love that the studio series ratchets pretty much reused the DOTM mold with some tweaks. That was my first every actual ratchet figure and I still love it to this day. Maybe one day I’ll get the studio series version.
The Premium Jazz is amazing but the silver paint's durability could be a lot better!. As for Bee, the first Deluxe mold for him remains my favorite just because of how accurate it is for the time and the sentimental value I have for him because he was one of the first figures I got when I became serious about collecting TF figures (Found him at a local hobby shop.) BUT, the SS version ( I have the KO) is great too. Love this new series PvP!
Outstanding once again! 😃 I really am loving this new formula that you’re doing of comparing the older Transformers live-action movie figures to the recent Studio Series releases, and see which one is (arguably) the superior toy! 👍 I do think it is kind of a shame that the SS versions don’t feel quite as well built compared to the previous toys, and also lack the action gimmicks the older figures had too... ☹️ Regardless, I look forward to Part 4! ❤️
Man, that SS Jazz got the verbal shit beat out of him when HA Jazz stepped up to the plate. Holy shit. Even Jazz tears his own ass apart. But in all seriousness, I think SS Jazz beats the other two out in vehicle mode. It's so much cleaner and the sheen-like deco is on point. Otherwise, I might hand it to HA Jazz for the proportions because it's compact and has that tiny robust height that the Solstice more or less has.
I know that Jazz from 2007 its not an outstanding figure, but that was one of my favorite Transformers of all time, that figure is the reason of why Jazz its my second favorite Transformers character ever
all these toys are great, but with difference(everyone know that) studio series is for collectors to be on shelf for poses and photos and those originals are to play with, but all are great
Pontiac actually went out of business a long time ago, I think it was early 2000s that they went out of business Those cars are definitely collectors items now
Maaan im just not a a bay former guy lol. Not g1 obssesed either tho. I prefer animated and studio series new line and third party. Im happy yall are happy tho! For me they just look like kibble hell 😳😅
NGL I thought that human alliance figure was the masterpiece figure because I've never seen the human alliance jazz before so it blew me away when you said it was the human alliance version lol
IDK, MPM Jazz was like a dream come true for me. It might have been the last MP I buy for a long while. Studio Series live action and 86 have got me falling in love lately, and their prices are much more desirable. I actually am in a minority where I think SS Jazz is trash, and HA was good for the time. MPM is just worth the money.
Found this by accident and enjoyed it very mutch. So i take that i was the only one whos first transformer figure when the movies came out was deluxe Sideswipe...
I agree that the Human Alliance Jazz is the best release of the character. I like how the SS version borrows some engineering elements of the HA version. I still like the original 2007 release as well. The biggest complaints I have about the HA and SS versions are how the spoilers and rear lights are not on his upper back like in the movie. The 2007 version managed to do this.
But 2007 deluxe has it on back. Agreed ha version is Best from old school figures. I have 2007 jazz and ss jazz But I'm planing to get too the robot replicas, mpm and ha as well. I'm big collector of Bayverse. Figures that I never have tha chaince to get them I buying on ebay. Please Forgive me grammar, but I thing you cannot speak in my Language so I hope u will not have any problem because I try to speak on your home Language ;)
Came here for jazz, the mpm is my personal favorite but I do love the human alliance, me and my dad searched high and low every store In Michigan looking for the original 07 and human alliance jazz, man memories, really cool vid the ss jazz is pretty cool, do I do wish it was bigger, but that goes for most modern transformers
i myself would go with the 07 jazz toy, tho mainly cause i already got it including the sniper type gun thing it comes with and i enjoy playing with it very much and i still play with it to this day
Weren't SS04 (2007 Ratchet) and its repaint SS16 (DotM Ratchet) both pretty similar to the DotM MechTech Deluxe class Ratchet? Of course, the old DotM mold handled the backpack a bit better; Studio Series looks like it wanted to do the removable rack as a claw/shield like the HftD Voyager Ratchet, but the idea got abandoned. ...wait, what the deuce? Now I gotta watch reviews of MPM9 Jazz, I don't recall anybody mentioning that having a visor gimmick!! But yeah, SS10 Jazz was pretty lame despite having all that glorious silver paint. Bumblebee...whaaat? No love for the HftD Battle Blade Bumblebee (still The King of Fighters amongst Deluxe & Voyager class Movie Bees - Takara's AoE Movie Advanced line reissue reclassified it as a Voyager) or MPM3 Bumblebee? Human Alliance Bumblebee makes a few too many design compromises for my liking...
They were yes! I believe the engineering is very similar :)! & yesss MPM Jazz does have a retractable visor haha! I would’ve included HFTD Bee but saving him for something else! Thanks for watching!
I will always vow for the 2007 no matter what, ss have more accurate lines, but will never match the materials, construction and feats. Also go for the battle blades bumblebee, it will blow your mind
Heres what i wish existed. an Legend scale Masterpiece of Beyverse transformers. I find smaller figures ALOT more fun to play with. I've seen Magic square and Newage are doing in G1. Probably almost impossible but I've seen some engineering complex on that scale
Well for bee the SS version is accurate (i rather have the chest from the HA version and blue bits like the deluxe), for jazz the original one has accurate hand transformation while the HA looks better and good (atleast I'll take it with the SS toy) and for ratchet well just the SS with the original DOTM figure paint
I just really hate how cheap Hasbro has gone with the material and size of the new figures. To me they just don't seem worth the price for hallow plastic and way less paint details.
Studio series could've been better if they have the same plastic quality just like in 2007 . I have the Human Alliance Bumblebee in black . It still holds well but theres only one part that stressed out .
Believe it or not, I’ve never owned any ratchet figures in my life, not even the 2011 dotm toy. I’m still waiting for them to do a mpm ratchet ko oversize to scale with the BA Optimus😅
i use to think the Studio series were perfect...boy I was wrong. You cant even play with them being their ball joint is too loose or easily loose. Even for displays I struggle, transformation is not even fun with a lot of fiddling
Do you agree with my thoughts? Who would you like me to take a look at next?
Is there a video of the top Transformers Studio Series Bumblebee movie figures?
Could you do 86 Hot Rod
Next do Sideswipe and Dino
Here's some information to remember, each movie had a different design for Megatron. Ao you should compare a few Megatron toys from each movie. You should also do Soundwave and Shockwave soon.
Come on man youre the best TF youtuber out there and I just want one video original bayverse TFs vs their 3rd party ones
That deluxe '07 Jazz was my first transformers figure ever. It always melts my heart when I see it.
I feel like SS jazz looks good but I fear of scratching the silver paint but with these old figures I don't have to worry about the silver paint as well. Which may or may not bring another reason why the older figures are better
That’s very true. Makes them ultimately more durable I guess
Nothing can beat the nostalgia, the original, the start but not gonna lie studio series is great tho and is cool remaster
Original figures are really cool for sure!
It would be better if the prices weren't so out of control.
@@PrimeVsPrimeyea they are!!
The Jazz Human Alliance figure is one of the best transformers IMO. Great in both modes, fun to transform and even has interior and holds driver and passenger.
Ikr?! Such an awesome figure!
Man you need to bring this series back... this was GOLDEN
SS Ratchet has to be the most paint starved figure in all of Studio Series. I'm getting the premium finish version as I missed out on the mold but christ it's barely better. After getting the MPM Ratchet KO all other versions of the character just look like unpainted dollar store toys.
Ikr?! That KO ratchet is so so good!
They're doing him dirty.
I have the allspark powered Jazz, I remember buying him from a car boot sale about 10 years ago. I still have him today and he holds up pretty well.
He is a very good figures & that’s a cool repaint!
I'd love a return to human alliance but to be that big to fit a figure today it'd probably cost almost as much as a movie masterpiece to see how much Hasbro demands for tiny tiny deluxe classes today. Those things were nearly double the size for half the price!
That’s very true! But still the line would be welcomed with open arms haha
That would be awesome if they could bring Human Alliance into their Studio Series toyline.
Actually, mega bloks figures are the same scale as transformers
Honestly, the Human Alliance Bumblebee is my favorite, as it was my first Bumblebee figure.
I honestly love that the studio series ratchets pretty much reused the DOTM mold with some tweaks. That was my first every actual ratchet figure and I still love it to this day. Maybe one day I’ll get the studio series version.
No competition for any human alliance figures, having an actual interior instead of a bunch of legs leaves almost no contesting the accuracy
Ikr?! They were so so good!
Except Soundwave

I mean Studio Series Ratchet is just a repaint of the DOTM Deluxe Ratchet because that figure was just so great as it was
I Gotta Say ROTF Human Alliance Bumblebee Is Way Beyond Awesome!

That Bumblebee Cannon Sound Effect Tho, It Hits Different!
all these toys are great, but with difference(everyone know that) studio series is for collectors to be on shelf for poses and photos and those originals are to play with, but all are great
we need the series to make a come back😭

I kinda wish we got a human alliance jolt or Dino , I think it would be cool to compare them to their SS predecessors
NGL I thought that human alliance figure was the masterpiece figure because I've never seen the human alliance jazz before so it blew me away when you said it was the human alliance version lol
Ikr haha?! HA was such a good line! Almost MP!
I think optimus prime will need 2-3 whole episodes for himself and himself only
The deluxe bumblebee was definitely the winner in my opinion. The painting on it is the most movie accurate one out there
When i saw the deluxe bumblebee i thought it was the dotm mechtech bumblebee
Very similar haha!
Ss ratchet + old colors = perfection.
Human alliance was the clearest look at Jazz’s face, lmao.
To be really honest I like the original 2007 desgin jazz the best, something about him and his sculpting is just lovely.
Man how do you make the Transformers sounds so perfect??? I wish I could do that shoot and transformation sound that you do
Haha thanks so much! Many years of practise I guess lol
Now do a original vs studio series optimus prime
If you take the SS clunker bee head you can replace it with the SS bumblebee in this video and it still transforms fine
That’s so awesome!
Human Aliance, best line by far
The 'hand feel' doesn't lie...
I in fact do not own a bumblebee yet, which kinda seems like heresy in a way
IDK, MPM Jazz was like a dream come true for me. It might have been the last MP I buy for a long while. Where did this series go I was really enjoying it 😭
Studio Series defeat any original figure.
Ss 01 bumblebee, stinger, crankcase and maybe helicopter drift?
Could do!
Found this by accident and enjoyed it very mutch. So i take that i was the only one whos first transformer figure when the movies came out was deluxe Sideswipe...
I love all
Old because nostalgic
Ss because movie accurate
When you brought out the human alliance jazz, I thought he was the masterpiece figure!
Can you do you part 4 for studio series vs original figures?
Yes we got another one thanks, Prime
Hope you like it!
@@PrimeVsPrime just watched it, it was amazing great job Prime, you never let us down

2007 Jazz is undefeated in terms of deluxe jazz’s headlight hands all the fucking way
i myself would go with the 07 jazz toy,
tho mainly cause i already got it including the sniper type gun thing it comes with and i enjoy playing with it very much and i still play with it to this day
Ah yes i owned a HA Bumblebee but i think it Broke a few years ago sadly but this was a Nostalgia ride for sure!
Lookin Foward to the next Part^^
You can attach the rack on the back, there's a port on the back of the flap thst becomes the bottom front portion of the hummer
Dropkick,shockwave, dotm
prime and rotf soundwave
Drop kick sadly can’t do because he has only ever had SS figures but the others are great picks!
Thanks for doing Bumblebee
That human alliance bumblebee would be perfect if the chairs could fold and if the chest could be a bit more accurate.
Definitely!

I think I got the ROTF or AOTF SS version of Ratchet
He only just came with an blaster
“It’s an incredibly old vehicle”
Hey man. Chill.
Love the vid
Thanks so much!
Is it bad that for all 3 I think that the biggest ones look better by far? Damn, those figures were good
My first transformer was the 2009 deluxe bumblebee, I sadly don’t have it anymore but eventually I will get it again
Heres what i wish existed. an Legend scale Masterpiece of Beyverse transformers. I find smaller figures ALOT more fun to play with. I've seen Magic square and Newage are doing in G1. Probably almost impossible but I've seen some engineering complex on that scale

My favorite out of the 3 Jazz figures is the 07 deluxe
Do one with jet fires and shock wave next time
I just really hate how cheap Hasbro has gone with the material and size of the new figures. To me they just don't seem worth the price for hallow plastic and way less paint details.
Yeah it’s not the best :(
For me, the best bumblebee toy is the battle blade bumblebee. I had it when I was a kid, but I broke it... nevermind.
I still have my original Jazz back from 07. Lost his gun tho sadge.
sadge :(
I think I’ve lost the gun too haha
The music played twice
studio series is the superior molds and of course jazz is popular even his appeareance in g1
SS is the best still. I base that on cohesiveness within a collection
The wreckers would be awesome to compare to original, specially roadbuster
Loved your vids primevsprime!
Thank you!! :)
@@PrimeVsPrime pvp it's blitza the Jolteon btw but i have a different icon and name now
do rotf sideswipe next
Can one day u compare the biggest action figures of each of the characters, i would love to see that!
We need more videos of this
The DotM Leader Bumblebee is a great figure
Human alliance and ur thoughts about it
Studio series could've been better if they have the same plastic quality just like in 2007 . I have the Human Alliance Bumblebee in black . It still holds well but theres only one part that stressed out .
I don't know what is that ratchet as the spin blade
The ss jazz's grill sits way too low in vehicle mode and in robot mode u can clearly tell it looks upside down
Believe it or not, I’ve never owned any ratchet figures in my life, not even the 2011 dotm toy. I’m still waiting for them to do a mpm ratchet ko oversize to scale with the BA Optimus😅
Dino or the wreckers
Sure!
I am choosing the SS Ratchet,SS Jazz and SS Bumblebee.
Do bonecrusher next please!
Is it just me or is there a weird glitch effect in the bottom of the screen during the bumblebee segment?
Can you do one for the Constructicons?
Of course!
SS Ratchet should’ve been a voyager
Me who has 25 toys and not a single bumblebee
why are there two songs in the background
For your next one can you do Sentinel Prime, or DOTM Megatron?
nice video, could one make talking about the figures that are a throwback to the SS line?
What the original Deluxe Jazz looked fat as heck how
I prefer the quality of the old figures
i use to think the Studio series were perfect...boy I was wrong. You cant even play with them being their ball joint is too loose or easily loose. Even for displays I struggle, transformation is not even fun with a lot of fiddling
I have one of those Pontiacs
How about comparing the constructicons next (that exist in both SS and original)
This might be a hot take but I feel they should do a remold or a adjusted version of jazz I'm ngl imo he really is bad for his price
