    That new bucket was a great investment. I only bought toys that made me money. I'm in Michigan wish you were closer would love to volunteer to help you on some jobs. I've been watching you for about a year now,I see your technique on the way you use your bucket,wish you showed more of the controls in use so I could understand what does what with the boom and bucket. You do top notch work and the finished jobs always look great.

    Nice. You make a difficult task look easy. To make an evenly graded, symetrical ditch that fast with no clean up is impressive. Until you get in and try it yourself, watching on the screen does not do justice. Anyone can dig a ditch, not everyone can make it look presentable.

    I am syrprised you did make a small guppy pond and run the ditch more along the propertyline so he wasn't catching air in his lawn tractor, unless that is what he wanted......

    Yes sir I was thinking almost exactly what you said typically I will charge $200 to deliver the tractor Plus $100 an hour with a 3 hour minimum. But just a quote a job that one looks like around 1200 to me plus I'll charge extra for longer distances depending on how far of course .thanks for your response

    Quick job and I hope it was cash in hand. Bit of a surprise there was rip rock pile.
    The tricky part is keeping the kids off the dirt pile after it rains.

    When are you going to get with AMI to design a better thumb for the Yanmar? In some videos it seems to slow you down a bit and easier to pickup small stuff. Keep it up We will keep watching

    Best part is you got rid of that "ankle breaker" shovel ditch. His insurance company thanks you. Those shovel jobs are a lawsuit waiting to happen since no one wants to slope the sides from depth to nothing by hand.

    I would not blame you for not wanting to share what I'm going to ask for but I would really love to know if you can possibly tell me what you would charge for a job like that, just trying to see if I'm anywhere close to where I'm supposed to be I feel like I'm working too cheaply here lately , thank you for everything you could possibly say. fantastic job

    Wow, that may be an easy ditch swale to cut and I agree it really looks good, but I sure would not want something like that crossing the full length of my backyard and being only a few yards from my house. But there again, I would assume that the homeowner knew that there was a natural water runoff path through their property when they built their home. It would seem that N.C. water drainage laws are not designed for the convenience of the homeowner, but more for the ease of natural water runoff paths.

    I have watched your videos for years and it is always very impressive.
    Anyhow I have been wondering how the thumb accessory is always there in your excavator, but now you also have the tilt bucket.
    Have you used a rototilt between the bucket and the excavator?

    Never seen many Swales in the UK. We would just bury a 4 inch perforated pipe in the original ditch, and cover it over... It's much less obtrusive that way.

      His grader would have been nice. I don’t think he is a grader guy too much. That big back yard would be a nice place for it too front and back just keep rollen that dirt all the way

      @@letsdig18 Definitely not saying the way you did it was wrong, just more than one way to skin a cat. Everyone has their own way of doing things. I wasn't stating that doing it with a grader would've been easier, only an observation that with the lack of organic the job would've been easier then if there was a heavy root system. I didn't mean any offense or to try and tell you how to do your job. My apologies.
