Would be nice if @13:43 would have started the clip when he initially merged over to the left lane. Passing someone going .3mph faster than the truck in the right lane is delaying someone if they were on their way to pass you prior to moving over. I've had that happen countless times. Never brake checked anyone over it, but it is very common. Rather than let the car pass you in 3 seconds, the truck driver makes them wait over a minute to get around. The fact that the truck was able to casually pass you on the right, makes me think you probably were traveling in the left lane for awhile, in turn delaying someone.
4 wheelers DRIVE in the left lane and trucks in the right lane have to constantly judge how fast we are catching the slow mover and when can we actually get in the left lane to pass but NO, hang out there in the left lane and MAKE us hit our brakes in the right lane instead of going on or falling back to let us out. Trust me when I say you 4 wheelers wear us out with all the decisions we have to make!!
The right side is suicide...if you can't see the trucker in their right rear view mirror, they can't see you. To cut in front of, or more stupidly break check a big rig, may very well be the last thing you do in this world. The amount of time for an empty load to slow is greater than that of a vehicle and the more the weight, the longer it is to safely slow without possibly jack knifing. Look ahead of the motor vehicle in front of you so that you may you may respond accordingly. Never tailgate a rig...your reaction time is too slow to appropriately respond. These are gems of wisdom that will make you a safer driver. Toe tags are not a good fashion statement.
As a european, the amount of you guys staying in the left/fast/overtaking lane absolutely baffles me. I think this might be where a lot of the problems stem from with normal cars wanting to go faster and with you guys lane hogging in the left lane!

The various acts of lunacy among truckers, 4-wheelers, 2-wheelers, & pedestrians is why people need to buy a dashcam. Also, #RespectTheTruckers

This doesnt apply everywhere, and even when it does apply they have to use the left lane to pass because everyone going 5 or 10 under camps out in the middle lane

They're in such a hurry, yet they have time to brake check and go slow just for some imagined wrong done to them. What's wrong with this picture?
The moral of the story is don't hang out in the left lane, and if you need to pass, go faster. If you can't go faster, don't get in the left lane.
Because 4 wheelers have the complete right to always hang in the left lane. Get a clue.
why do so many people think it's a good idea to cut off passing semis and try to force them into theright lane like they're required to go the exact same speed as aslow moving semi all the time ? they're all on different schedules and times and do not need to move like ants in a single file line and you speeding 30 over and catching up to them passing safely and getting mad you can't gun it IS NOT THEIR FAULT
Too many wimpy truck drivers out there that won’t knock those brake checkers off the road. As a 42 year trucker I’m ashamed of you. 😖
Mostly they don't want all the paperwork, and sometimes repercussions from it. Even if it's not your fault, not many companies care about their drivers and will raise the drivers insurance premium or what have you.
I'm starting to think semi drivers should be trained extensively so they can have cow catchers on the front of their rigs, with signs all over that read:
"DRIVER WILL NOT SLOW DOWN FOR BRAKE CHECKING!"
"DRIVER NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURY OR DEATH DUE TO BRAKE CHECKING!"
As a retired truck driver, you expected from the four wheelers and yes, there are a hole truck drivers. then I saw the metropolitan truck classic act that’s all I can say
Trucks have no business in the middle or left lane. Stray in the right lane with your truck and 90% of problems like this will not occur.
You a a fucked in the head individual. Middle is perfectly fine if it’s legal and they are passing. Piece of shit moron. And for that matter if it says trucks no lane restriction then they can go in the far left. You are dumber then a trash can
You have no clue. Middle is fine if passing and also if it says trucks no restrictions then trucks can go in any lane. 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕
There used to be a time when truckers worked together and helped each other get through the grind. Now, some of them are just as petty as many 4 wheeler drivers.

Was the video in Cali? Truckers are in the left lane for the same reason you or anyone else is in the left lane. Deal with it.
@@watutman actually depending on the state and road they might seriously not be allowed to be there 😅 also as a piece of trivia, some states have laws about not staying in the far left lane for any reason other than actively passing someone, and can otherwise pull you over for it.
@@TheCrazyCapMasterYeah, I drove truck in 47 states, including tons in California. The reason I asked if it was in Cali, is because in many other states there is no law against a truck being in the left lane. I was based in Lad Vegas, and visiting Californians kept brake checking me if I was in the left lane, thinking it was the same as California. I looked up and read Nevada's left lane law 3 times. The law for trucks there is exactly the same as for cars. If you notice a vehicle is behind you seeming to want to go faster than you, you must move to the right. And if cars to your right are moving faster than you, you must move to the right.

The lane is literally ending. The car passed at a portion where a barrier was blocking the road. The car is legally required to yield to the truck here.
Maybe don't use the shoulder to illegally pass the truck?
@@randgrithr7387 Yes, the lane is closing and the car probably should not pass. #17 make sure you have the right trucker that will leave his lane for you. I drive trucks and I maintain my lane. If you merge into me you merge into me I'm not leaving the lane.
Thanks for the Sunday morning drive from Seattle ‼️ Still waiting to see some Seattle clips here ‼️
Would be nice if @13:43 would have started the clip when he initially merged over to the left lane.
Number one driver to keep that from happening don't hit the brakes when they check you
To every trucker out there: you have my permission to ram at full speed.
Try see if there are children! Nones? FULL SPEEED VROOOOOM! lolol
It seems that two of the most difficult moves to learn in driving are the left turn, and spelling "brake"
I think this might be where a lot of the problems stem from with normal cars wanting to go faster and with you guys lane hogging in the left lane!
bingo
In many US states, you are supposed to stay in the right lane unless passing. Of course, you'll move left if you start coming to an exit only for the right lane.
7:32 so people are passing on the right because you won't get over😅😂
That’s the problem with new trucks. You can’t love tap any of the brake checkers anymore.

I will say I’ve been on the road with a lot of semis that think they own the road. They switch lanes knowing you’re right there and try to bully you out of the way. It’s actually crazy.

I will never understand why anyone wants to create a hazard by brake checking. The only thing that proves is they are idiots. I’m the opposite out there. When I overtake a big rig I’ll gain 100 feet before merging back right, then keep checking my mirrors to make sure I’m keeping good distance. I also yield when merging and give space when rigs are turning. It’s just common sense and courtesy. People are just crazy these days.
