I think the video posted by someone lied, the semi insurance would have known the semi is at fault. The police would also confirm that. The pickup driver's insurance company would also confirmed. It's amazing how people lie thinking everyone else is stupid.

In my country trucks are not allowed to go over 60mph, and truck drivers tend to keep long distances to cars ahead (professionalism). Almost everyone is speeding here and driving too close to others, speed differencies between lanes are too great. I wonder if they have any speed limits near intersections? It's like watching Russian dashcam videos, almost as grazy.

I drove a truck for 42 years I was a 3rd generation truck driver retired , and I never had 1 accident. I have no idea what’s going on with this new on drivers getting into more accidents. Especially if you think of the Rigs we use to drive compared to the safety features of these modern day trucks.😲😲😲
Yeah! This is the age of modern technology, that kind of equipment is super cheap these days! Why not have it be a modular design too so it's universal for all cabs, that will make it even cheaper. . . But no. . .corporations don't want to use their heads
Some do, in current model Freightliners, there is a sensor in between the passenger steps and a light on the A pillar. It signals an alarm if you turn on your turn signal and there is an object in the way, or if you depart the lane. The problem is I'm pretty sure it's optional not standard from the factory, and you have companies that don't pay the extra.
Do you think regular car drivers pay much attention to their Blind Spot Monitors? Not knocking the idea, but I'm assuming most car drivers ignore theirs because it constantly triggers, even when cars are alongside you at a stop light. It would just be one more warning indicator that people will "tune out" if it activates too often - like in heavy traffic.
#43 Why was the pickup deemed at fault? They were maintaining their lane, and the semi swung out and hit the *side* of the pickup truck in their lane. I'm thinking insurance didn't get to see the video.
5:40 ???? What do you mean insurance paid once they saw the video? He just decided to ran into that truck. What, you couldn't see that big ass truck from that distance? You shouldn't drive.
I think for a while it would have been impossible to tell whether he was in the correct lane or not, and then it took too long to stop once they realized it was further right.

Semis plowing through stopped cars, ramming into other vehicles, switching lanes into an already occupied lane, sleeping and driving, left lane camping, blowing through red lights.. did you not watch the video? 😂😂
@@ItsmeBish584 He's talking about the _OTHER_ clips where the Sedan/SUV was at fault. And he's right too: For those situations, how does the smaller vehicle not see a HUGE Semi-Truck right next to them ??? Mostly not paying attention, but in at least one clip, the driver was arrested for DUI.
As far as the *_Semi's_* at fault: That's no surprise there: We're just not allow to call it out on YT.
Thankful for the good truck drivers out there, always. We absolutely depend on them. Scary stuff. Stay safe out there. ❤
#41 the drive of the truck died because nobody stopped to help for over 4 minutes, so it was to late.
A little reminder people, that could be you some day. Stop your vehicle and go help your fellow human being. Your life might depend on it.
"the drive of the truck died because nobody stopped to help" That's just speculation. Looking at that explosion, it's very possible that the driver died on impact or immediately after in the explosion. Also, your average civilian isn't equipped to help in a situation like that where a tanker truck is literally in flames and exploding.
@ it’s not speculation it’s fact. I don’t just watch dashcam lessons. Anyway don’t make excuses, like I said, that could be you, help your fellow human.

@ is his name Zelenskyy?
#43 how was pu at fault? In 45 yrs of driving I never turned left from inside of 2 lane left. I was taught that u never take inside lane because of what u did to pu.
Totally agreed, #43 21:07 the cammer is at fault not the pickup. It's a dual turn lane and they crossed the line into the outer lane.
No logical reason for the insurance to find the pickup at fault, that's an absolute bull statement from the cammer -- he thinks we're stupid!!??
I think the video posted by someone lied, the semi insurance would have known the semi is at fault. The police would also confirm that. The pickup driver's insurance company would also confirmed. It's amazing how people lie thinking everyone else is stupid.
Clips starts at [20:58]. The collision occurs at [21:02] (when the Semi is still in HIS Lane) because the Pickup cut across. 100% Pickup at fault. The fact that the Semi crosses into the other lane AFTER the accident isn't relevant to what CAUSED the accident.
@@nikolaikalashnikov4253 naw the semi left his lane
@@Dixxymcgee AFTER the accident occurred, YES: But NOT before.
#5 my god that’s brutal
4:00 Truck had been in the left lane for several miles because you four wheeler don't know how to GTFOOTW. The interstate system was put in place for Military Operations and Interstate Commerce
The van got launched 😂😂😂😂😂 3:25
I just love this truckers videos!
Common theme is 'they lied...' Always use a dash cam! Worth every penny!!
Yeah true, but what's _SHOCKING_ is so many people who straight up FLEE THE SCENE !!! Like, Holy Shit, WTF ???
I never seen so many crazy drivers I'm telling you, no one watches the road anymore they got their head down and stuck in the phone!
That bay springs accident at about 7:30 is probably one of the craziest crashes I’ve seen or maybe most absurd
Why do trucks not have cameras in their blind spots? Should be mandatory. Even a sensor that lights up would be fine.
Yeah! This is the age of modern technology, that kind of equipment is super cheap these days! Why not have it be a modular design too so it's universal for all cabs, that will make it even cheaper. . . But no. . .corporations don't want to use their heads
They do.
I usually stay far away from semitrailers when driving.
I hate when all these people hit someone and then claim the other person did it
That should be an instant *_Darwin Award_* imo.
4:30 wow you're telling me the korean woman is a bad driver? i'm shocked!
HAHAHAA !!! ...Apparently, she's a LIAR too !!! :P
I don’t know about most of y’all who are watching this but my butt puckered up a few times the motorcycle was one!
There was a time when a “professional truck driver” was an example of safety, but sadly the industry has GONE TO 👉🏻💩
I heard a lot of these illegal immigrants are driving these trucks and don't even have licenses and they're causing a lot of accidents I believe it!!
Following distances and the speed at which you are traveling matters People. Spread out and save time, money and most importantly, lives.
#1 i think he saved everyone with taking the impact
#43 Why was the pickup deemed at fault? They were maintaining their lane, and the semi swung out and hit the *side* of the pickup truck in their lane. I'm thinking insurance didn't get to see the video.
If you pause at 21:02 you can see that the black truck also crosses the line.
I guess you didn't hear the brakes/tires squealing?
That *_Clown_* at [5:40] is obviously LYING: You can't just Criminal SPEED then play the victim when you cannot control your Vehicle.
@@61rampy65 I guess you didn't see them hit the truck?
@@Quasar0406 Yes, I did. He hit the truck with his brakes locked.

A bad driver never misses their exit
#5 almost happened to me moving a small dump truck south texas. a truck shot out the side so slow i had to hon multiple times before i had to ride the emergency lane 🤦🏽♂️ still have no clue what that dude was on middle of the night raining good lord i have so many stories like this being a truck driver. be safe out there guys
So, you had time to blow the born multiple times, but you never tried the BRAKES ???
Another great video
Some drivers seem to think they’re auditioning for an action movie… until reality hits!
It's surprising how sometimes I suddenly realize how much I still don't know about space. But what's more important is that, compared to the people in the other video, I'm confident that I have much better knowledge. That is the vital factor when driving.
Country roaaaaaad, take me hooooooooome
71. I 70 through Glenwood Canyon. Beautiful drive.
I cleaned up some of the debris from #24 the next day in New Boston, OH!
I drive a regular car, but I always try to look out for the motorcyclists and the big rigs. They have it really hard. This video just makes me sad. But I’m glad it exists because I hope people learn.
21:07 The song playing on the radio syncing with the accident. :D
Same clip they deemed the black truck at fault even though the semi was going to drive into the right lane regardless. SMH
Some of these are "play stupid games, win stupid prizes", some of these are simply because apparently nobody likes driving for the conditions, some are simply accidents.
@3:28 That double PIT was impressive!
It’s like every two days is another best of video. How many can possibly be made?
20:20 i love how both dudes reactions are "oh shit that's crazy." and of course the female is doing their little inhale thing and screaming "OH MY GOD"
#13 5:30 RIP driver
I don't know if it's already been mentioned or not, but the location for 21 is wrong. It takes place on I-70 in independence, MO over by 40 hwy and the Independence center mall. It happens on the highway ramps between 40 highway and the 39th st exit.
most of these seem avoidable if the truck driver were paying any attention at all.
" _That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence_ " *_~Hitchens_*
The speed of those crash trucks during the day can sometimes surprise a person especially if the sun is right. I’ve had it happen once in my life and luckily I approached with caution anyway and was glad I did. In the hammer lane couldn’t have been going 30km/h
30:00 Average Lifted Truck behavior
And yet the other clips are average sedan SUV behavior,
Tail gaiting
Trying to pass on a merge lane
Camping in the trucks blind spot then acting surprised when the driver can’t see them before changing lanes
@ Peaople like that should get their license revoked!
@@Truck_person Bro, chill-out, it's NOT "All" pickups (obviously): But there are a significant portion of idiot Truckers. Take me, for example, I drive a *_Rav-4,_* but even I can admit that *_Rav-4_* drivers could probably be some of the worst on the road.
Quote: " 30:00 _Average Lifted Truck behavior_ ":
1st of all, it's not even the best example in this video of "idiot truckers".
What you're witnessing there is simply your average day on *_Tennessee_* roads: This is because TN is a "crossroads" as well as a "melting-pot": So, you have A LOT of people from all around the Country & all around the World mixing together on the roads: And each local area has their own idiosyncrasies & habits & "view" on what the "proper" way to drive is. This is nothing but a recipe for disaster (as you can see here).
Off the bat, that 1st one was so sick.
6. Why you need to accelerate to merge, there was a huge wide open gap but instead they slowed down and cut in front of a semi?!?!
The pickup cut them off from safely merging and made an unsafe manuever. They slowed down to make their exit (they should have just continued and taken the next exit).
#5 was definitely suicide 😢
So you knew him?
@@maurice7413 Its obvious he pulls out and stops. Its not like his momentum was continuing which leads us to believe he had braked to stop right there. What he may have been trying to do is an insurance scam that went wrong.

20:28 was tough to watch. It was the first couple of days of August 2018, when I got the phone call about my third cousin... All I can say is Thank God dental records exist.
Вот смотришь,и ощущение,что в Америке зеркала не нужны и никто в них не смотрит перед перестроением. Ну и,изюминка на торте...все несутся как бешенные и не соблюдают дистанцию.
#3 was the trailer brake lights working?
I think the video content of your channel is quite good, but the dialogue in the video is quite a lot and noisy. You need to improve for the channel to grow stronger. best regards
41. 20:20 I remember this crash from _Traffic Cam Watch._ You can see the traffic cam on the right. This one was enraging because people only stopped to take pictures. The driver did not survive.
you expect people without any protection to run into a giant fireball?
even if you are 60ft from that you'll feel the heat
Normally I agree people are too quick to pull out their phones and start recording, but in this case, the best you can do is call for help.
I fvcking HATE that: Normally they just "Turkey-Neck" it, but that idiot Truck actually STOPPED on the interstate: Like, holy shit, that's fvcking R3T4RDED !!! (And extremely dangerous too)
The first clip could have ended very badly! I have seen the aftermath of 2 loaded rigs head on! It is something that you can't forget!
3:28 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The driver in #8 has good taste in music.
70. Colorado Springs: Long steep hill going east on Fillmore just west of I-25. While I cant make excuse for this accident...that intersection and over pass of I-25 is fubar. Having a traffic signal on Chestnut at the bottom of that steep hill on Fillmore is idiotic.
Its comical to see how many people think semi's will move
Alot of these vaguely remind me of something I read about following distance being relative to the time it takes you to stop with your brakes. Huh, must have been in the mythology section of the bookstore lol.
I think this deserves to renamed the WORST of semi truck crashes as in... really bad crashes.
13:06 ah yes, my favorite honda, the one with a toyota badge
the vibration was him falling asleep and running over the wake up bumps on the side of the road
I enjoy the channel. It would enhance your videos if you would sometimes provide a slow-motion follow-up after an event. Not on every event, just those where the viewer could use a repeat to understand the situation. Big LIKE!
You can move through the video frame by frame by using the 2 keys right of your M key. It helps a lot when rewatching a section of the video to catch all the details.
no it wouldnt, we can see it the first time, and they have slow motion options in settings if you arent satisfied
Additionally, (J) Rewinds 10 seconds (if you need another peak).
#5 As soon as I realized dude was not stopping... I knew that was it; no way could he survive a T-bone at what, 35? 45 Mph...poor guy.
I truly hope the Semi driver is doing OK. It wasn't his fault.
