#19 At the point this incident gets to it's not about who is right and who is wrong (Atlas driver was wrong). It is more about trying to drive safely and defensively to avoid an accident for the safety of everyone on this road. Even the camming trucker neglected his responsibility to do that. He continued to accelerate while the other truck drove down the shoulder and through the gores. Should have never escalated as far as it did.

I drove armored trucks, mine was the coin truck, and when fully loaded could weight more than the average semi. Had a guy try to push me off the road, but in my line of work, we don't stop, we're carrying cash. So we connected, and I pushed back, he was shocked when I pushed him back into his own lane. Cops were called, an investigation was made, he wasn't trying to rob us, but they scared him good. Do NOT F around with armored vehicles, we push back, and shoot back too.

Thank you @DashcamLessons for honoring us truckers! I wish most random citizens understood what we are forced to deal with on a typical haul. Some people are really so petty.
Drivers that do shit like that to truckers, for no reason, need to be suspended from driving for one year. Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen some REALLY bad, careless and dangerous truckers out there, but these clips are not them. I actually had a trucker rage on me and other drivers on the road one day, he must have been having some kind of breakdown. I called it in, videoed his driving and followed him until the CHP caught up. On the flip side…… in 1982 when I was twenty, driving down from Oregon to Calif with my two babies, I met a couple of truckers at a stop who “cradled” me all the way to L.A. to make sure we were safe. They were great and I’ve had a soft spot for truckers ever since. You guys have a tough job. Thank you for keeping America running.
This kind of crap is why I wanted off the road after driving for 13 years. Aside from actually wanting to have something resembling a life. People have just gotten insane. The level of road rage and childish nonsense from the motoring public as well as the unprofessional attitude of so-called "professional drivers" took all the fun out of the job and made it needlessly stressful and dangerous. I hung up the keys two years ago and haven't looked back.
I drive 18 wheeler, the people on the roads today are absolutely nuts. No matter how safe you try to be, there is always an IDIOT that is going to risk it all just to get in front of you. As for the brake checking, been there too. Be safe America, your life and mine depends on it.
I spent a few years in a semi with a boyfriend of mine, and it is absolutely astronomical how many people play with their lives this way. Our muffler on the truck had rusted a little bit, and had a hole on one side, and when we threw on our engine brakes, it was DOUBLE loud. Even though there's noise laws, my bf didn't bother getting the hole fixed. He considered it to be an extra warning symbol, louder than a horn, and swore up and down that he'd rather receive tickets for a noise truck than EVER hit a kid or a pedestrian because they couldn't hear him with headphones in.
That's like always driving with your high beams on to make sure people see you, or hell, installing rally stage lighting and blaring that at all times.. I mean sure, being noticed technically makes people less likely to have an accident with you, go ahead and _be_ that driver, but you know that's not the right way to use a road.
@@nthgth Your comparison isn't equivalent. Extra noise isn't going to blind people in the dark. Lol high beams within city limits are dangerous because it impairs people's visibility. 🤦🏽♀️ Lol the worst my loud jakes are gunna do, is maybe wake someone as I pass through at an ungodly hour. Not the same at all. Also, when you're on the rural highways in the Rocky Mountains for days, sometimes weeks... You take as many precautions as you can because getting stranded can put your life in jeopardy. So another benefit is that it tends to keep wildlife away from the highway long before you pass by, reducing the risk of a single vehicle accident involving an animal that could potentially kill your vehicle. And yes, hitting a moose can take a semi out of commission, do not pass go, do not collect $200. I'd rather be an asshole that gets a noise violation ticket once a year, than be stuck out there in winter, or charged with manslaughter due to unforeseen circumstances. Early warnings are huge at preventing accidents, especially concerning semis. And what better way than to make sure people/animals hear you coming? Long before you perceive a hazard at all, or reflexively need beep your horn. 🤷♀️
What I often wonder is when someone brake checks or stops in the middle of the road because they’re mad at the vehicle behind them, why the vehicles further back never get involved. You know that’s got to cause some of them to start raging.
it is a good point, however you also need to consider most people arent really paying attention in that way to their surroundings, most of them are simply in "driving mode" as a driver myself, I pay closer attention to traffic & there have been a few times when I will see something that may be suspicious. but if Ive just caught up to the situation and am not really sure of the happenstance that lead up to it, you may actually be in the wrong. truckers arent immune to being asshats, Ive seen quite a few dik moves on their parts (18 and 19 in this video is a good indicator of that). all that being said, I have gotten involved when Im privy to the situation. people stop messing around real quick when it isnt a solitary truck (one they can easily outrun/outmaneuver) they are dealing with.
I believe they should pass a federal law that if you break check a truck driver, and it’s on video, you loose your drivers license for a minimum of 5 years in all 50 states.
Thanks for another great compilation! I would imagine that most people agree that the clips of brake checkers getting rear ended are the most entertaining.😆
@4:36 with the video involving the silver Chevy truck: I wish the other semi drivers would have realized what was going on & pulled over to box this guy in his half ton in! That would have been priceless!
Nothing brings me greater joy than getting to see/hear the trucker basically asking “could you and your tiny vehicle please explain what your plan was if I didn’t brake” 🤣
Trucker was initially the problem. If you look closely you will see the large construction cone blowing across the path of the subaru causing him to slow down.
The two truckers arguing with each other and the one stopping in front of the other was funny as well as dangerous. The blue one passing them “WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YA’LL DOING”?!!!!
So we now put the responsibility on the person driving correctly, and not the person who didn't recognize the sign or signs about the right lane ending, merge left? You people amaze me.
@@mikem9058 It's called defensive driving, not offensive. The end goal is to avoid crashes even if you are in the right. Too many stoopid drivers out there, try to avoid them.

Popping tires can be dangerous and cause vehicles to lose control. I think paintballs might be good. Get your car covered in lime green paint. It would also be helpful for other drivers to see - steer clear of this moron!
Retired Driver here, SO glad I don't have to do Interstates and through the woods driving nearly as much as I used to do and have to deal with all those that THINK that the roads belong to just them. I enjoy being out here in the boonies where "rush hour" consists of maybe 10 cars going by in 15 minutes The one instance I remember best was the lady who tried getting around my R/F corner with her lane ended 50 feet back, didn't even see her or her car til she got out raising cain about me hitting her car, Yeah I got the ticket because I was driving a truck (cop didn't think I'd come to court, kept suggesting how to pay it early LOL) on court day I was the only one who showed up (cop was "elsewhere on duty") I pled not guilty and when the judge found out that lady didn't show up a bench warrant was issued and the ticket got thrown out
An addition, I can easily see why many trucks now install push bar bumpers on their trucks, not only less damage from deer/animal hits but also less damage to their trucks from brake checks
8:57 you can see a barrel tumbled into the road in front of him, that's why he slowed. Seems like the semi was following too close too with all that snow - I wouldn't have even followed that close in my car, much less in a semi!
To pass in front of a semi safely you need to leave at LEAST 6 car lengths. Idk how many people will pass me almost scraping my bumper. People really dont understand a fully loaded semi (80k lbs) moving at 60+ mph takes a little over 3 football fields to come to a complete stop. People act likw were the problem on the roads but without us your stores, gas stations, hell even amazon packages would be empty and non existent.
It amazes me how all these ppl are in a rush, but as soon as they get in front of the vehicle they believe is impeding everyone, they slow down or stop traffic completely. The logic in that is shot tf out..
Truck Drivers today are no longer professionals, to stop in the middle of the Interstate at night is NOT professional. Serious professional drivers don't have the time for that kind of behavior. I drove heavy oversized loads for many years and would have never pulled some of the stunts I have seen these unprofessional so called "Drivers" pull. I am not saying that these four wheelers don't cause issues, but the REAL drivers don't allow it to escalate. I am glad to be retired and not have to put up with the idiots driving 80K rigs.
People who do this kind of stuff need to be charged with attempted murder and marked as a felon for the rest of their life. We need stricter laws when it comes to driving in America, it's a privilege, not a right. Those who think they own the road should never be allowed to drive on them again.
what ive learned growing up in a cold climate, is Truckers almost always drive too fast in ice with some false sense of traction. So many trucks in the ditches in the winter here.
There are a bunch of brainless car drivers out there. I never get why some of this people mess around with with semi trucks, knowing they can cause accidents for everyone else in the road. 😡

Your channel is the reason I bought my brother (a big rig driver) a 4 channel dashcam. That dashcam has already paid for itself and saved him from a false ins claim by an idiot four wheeler.
On a side note however, now that I see what he has to put up with daily, my blood pressure spikes.
If he still has the footage, let him know he can send it over. Sfay safe!
It always amazes me how ppl think they can outdo a Semi in so many crazy situations! I ALWAYS give all the semis, truck drivers and delivery trucks the upmost respect on the roads just like our police officers, firemen and EMS🙏🏻❤️
@@Kittymay98 brake checking a semi is suicidal. These people are crazy. I'm glad you respect them.
Funny how many trucks just sit by eachother and not leave another truck his safety space.
Ah, yes. The ol' "force disengagement by acting like you're gonna take an exit then not taking it once they're committed and it's too late for them to continue the encounter" maneuver. Lost count of the number of times I've used that particular form of psychological warfare to get out of a bad situation lol
18. You can clearly see the trucker turn on his brights and leave them on, THEN complains about the guy brake checking him.
He also attempts multiple illegal passes endangering people in the oncoming lane and tries to pass on the shoulder. But it's this guy and his buddy
12. I love the forceful point to pull over and the immediate pull over of the driver doing it, like they are some kind of authority. i laugh every time it happens.
You can see something roll on the road in front of the "rager" at the start. There's no audio, but I'm going to guess cammer was instigating by laying on the horn. At the end, the Subaru looks like he's signaling to the trucker to pass him, not pull over.
Subaru braked for the construction drum blowing across the road. The trucker was recklessly following too close/driving too fast
thats the trucker's fault. he didnt see the construction drum roll in front of the SUV
who cares. why reply to me. i am talking about another grown human thinking their forceful pointing controls my actions in any way. it is funny as hell. go be mad somewhere else.
@MajesticSlinky So in your mind someone honking is an excuse to hold up traffic and act like a jackass?
I drove armored trucks, mine was the coin truck, and when fully loaded could weight more than the average semi. Had a guy try to push me off the road, but in my line of work, we don't stop, we're carrying cash. So we connected, and I pushed back, he was shocked when I pushed him back into his own lane. Cops were called, an investigation was made, he wasn't trying to rob us, but they scared him good. Do NOT F around with armored vehicles, we push back, and shoot back too.
Never ceases to amaze me-“I’ve got my blinker on so you have to let me in”
True, but the flipside is why refuse to let people merge, especially in a construction zone.
@@drh3bPerhaps you should be asking the entitled a-hole why didn't they merge earlier?
Awesome to see so many people (including the semi drivers) teach such valuable lessons. No doubt everyone targeted understood how in the wrong they were and felt so shameful. Because that's how life works, right? Shrug it off and drive on, people.
#18 - to be honest, he didn't react until you lit him up with your brights. If you just controlled yourself that whole situation could have been avoided.
Thought the same exact thing. That one was the truckers fault.
#16 was the same. Truck drivers aren’t the authority on the intensity of headlights. And it’s not illegal to transfer a firearm from you body into your vehicle in front of the public.
@@georgefloydsinhellwbreonna5330 Not illegal to transfer a firearm, but "brandishing" is a thing and all you must do is imply a threat while exposing the weapon. Dipstick with the .22 could easily have been charged off that dashcam footage.
@@georgefloydsinhellwbreonna5330lol, yeah, that would have worked in court😅😅😅
@@OddlyIncredible He never pointed the weapon. It was a quick transfer from belt to vehicle. 1/4 second flash to intimidate? Nope.
Driver's tests need to be way more difficult and it needs to be much easier to permanently lose your license.
Cops need to respond and do something when you've got these idiots brake checking like this too.
Playing chicken with truckers is not my idea of fun... not theirs either.
@@notme2day Just make it legal to turn these morons into road paste and the problem will sort itself out. Trucks need those huge metal things that used to be on the front of trains.
I don't think making drivers tests harder will prevent this
@@MrOnay-px1jx A psychiatric condition that disqualifies someone from owning a gun should also disqualify them from driving a deadly weapon. Anger problems, for example, unless a doctor certifies them safe.
@MrOnay-px1jx it's literally life and death, hitting on safety and danger on tests definitely wouldn't hurt.
I love these trucker's only videos! I've seen a few before, but still enjoy watching them! Thanks for the videos!
One thing these dash cam compilations prove over and over again - there will never be a shortage of smoothed brain pickup drivers.
It's always amusing to watch morons who are in such a hurry and then they start playing their stupid game of let's brake check the semi with my puny car. I really loved that woman, "I'm in a hurry, I'm going to work." *_HAH,_* now you have to sit and wait even longer.
She was an impatient asshole. I hope she got in trouble for showing up to work late on top of having to pay all those citations she got. She brought that on herself.
I love how people are in such a hurry only to slow down and b¡tch about how "you're slowing me down bro!"
Anyone in a passenger vehicle that decides to brake check a semi, should be given the opportunity to STOP that 80,000lb semi with their vehicle.
Bro I remember #9! Both these drivers were f*cking stupid, but the going back and forth had me dying. Doesn't surprise me that this occurred on I-81 tho, a road that we like to consider truckers paradise. The guy in the blue semi made it even better asking what I'm pretty sure every other driver listening in on the CB was asking 😂. Imagine both drivers got out and starting whooping each other's asses tho, blocking both lanes
#9 cammer has been featured on this channel multiple times. Dude is an angry little loser and is generally the one causing all the problems in the videos that he submits.
It's so infuriating! There should be a dedicated traffic cop Force just for the semi-truck drivers - cams to arrest every person that does this.
That would be great but unfortunately there isn’t enough police in the world to stop all the morons on the road😅, they are like roaches you stop one and two more appear
Thank you @DashcamLessons for honoring us truckers! I wish most random citizens understood what we are forced to deal with on a typical haul. Some people are really so petty.
People take driving for granted. It’s a PRIVILEGE NOT A RIGHT!!!
You gotta be hella entitled to think you can just casually brake check a semi truck and not expect it to fly south
When in my twenties the safest ride I could get was from a trucker, not always but most. Also one could get a shout out if your going farther.
Make it legal to hit brake checkers
It kinda already is
This kind of crap is why I wanted off the road after driving for 13 years.
This is the #1 reason I have a loud af exhaust on my car! Too many idiots, kids, and tweakers running in the streets around me 😬
That's like always driving with your high beams on to make sure people see you, or hell, installing rally stage lighting and blaring that at all times..
Where has all of the respect gone for the truckers in North America. Bless you all
As a truck driver for 7 years, I'm glad someone invented dashcams. I have 35 more years until i can retire -,-
If autonomous trucks don't eliminate your career entirely first
@nthgth local drivers have nothing to worry. I don't see how these autonomous trucks stand a chance when bad weather rolls around.
That video was the best! Thanks Dashcam Lessons, you rock and never let us down.
What I often wonder is when someone brake checks or stops in the middle of the road because they’re mad at the vehicle behind them, why the vehicles further back never get involved. You know that’s got to cause some of them to start raging.
You make a point in that brake checking affects _all_ vehicles behind them and they don't realize that because their ego won't let them.
I guess (on a positive note) it shows that majority of drivers are not complete idiot, temper tantrum throwing toddlers.
it is a good point, however you also need to consider most people arent really paying attention in that way to their surroundings, most of them are simply in "driving mode"
as a driver myself, I pay closer attention to traffic & there have been a few times when I will see something that may be suspicious.
but if Ive just caught up to the situation and am not really sure of the happenstance that lead up to it, you may actually be in the wrong. truckers arent immune to being asshats, Ive seen quite a few dik moves on their parts (18 and 19 in this video is a good indicator of that).
all that being said, I have gotten involved when Im privy to the situation.
people stop messing around real quick when it isnt a solitary truck (one they can easily outrun/outmaneuver) they are dealing with.
What's really scary is that some of these truckers are in 4 wheelers on their off time.@@busterkeaton1041
Malicious brake checkers should be charged with reckless endangerment as they put the lives of others at risk. Same goes for tailgaters!
I believe they should pass a federal law that if you break check a truck driver, and it’s on video, you loose your drivers license for a minimum of 5 years in all 50 states.
Aw everyone's little egos were hurt, cute little humans.
#17 I feel for ya. Dude didn't even get mad, just disappointed. Seems like a good dude just tryin to work.
Boy, 19 is another great example of the brotherhood in action
Thanks for another great compilation! I would imagine that most people agree that the clips of brake checkers getting rear ended are the most entertaining.😆
Watching a checker get smashed gives me a warm cuddly feeling
I love the audio from the radio in #19. Perfectly sums up the cammer.
9:37 makes me lol! No one pulling over for you buddy! Go Karen somewhere else!
#19 must have been having a bad day to not just slow down and let them over.
Or he's just a petty, childish asshole.
Yeah, no kidding.
So we now put the responsibility on the person driving correctly, and not the person who didn't recognize the sign or signs about the right lane ending, merge left? You people amaze me.
Let me guess, in #20 the red semi was the culprit too?
@@mikem9058 It's called defensive driving, not offensive. The end goal is to avoid crashes even if you are in the right. Too many stoopid drivers out there, try to avoid them.
Deliberately stopping traffic on a busy freeway should be seen as, reckless endangerment to life.
#16 People like this don't have the _maturity_ it takes to own a firearm. He was completely idiotic for pulling it out like that as an intimidation. It sucks he didn't have to pay the consequences for such stupidity.
LETS GO!!! Love these videos!! keep up the great work!
I think there's only one way to stop those idiots who use the gore points to merge in . . . embed spikes in the white lines.
Popping tires can be dangerous and cause vehicles to lose control. I think paintballs might be good. Get your car covered in lime green paint. It would also be helpful for other drivers to see - steer clear of this moron!
@@gf2e Use hollow spikes like they use on stop strips. Tires don't pop, but they do go flat in about a minute.
Retired Driver here, SO glad I don't have to do Interstates and through the woods driving nearly as much as I used to do and have to deal with all those that THINK that the roads belong to just them. I enjoy being out here in the boonies where "rush hour" consists of maybe 10 cars going by in 15 minutes The one instance I remember best was the lady who tried getting around my R/F corner with her lane ended 50 feet back, didn't even see her or her car til she got out raising cain about me hitting her car, Yeah I got the ticket because I was driving a truck (cop didn't think I'd come to court, kept suggesting how to pay it early LOL) on court day I was the only one who showed up (cop was "elsewhere on duty") I pled not guilty and when the judge found out that lady didn't show up a bench warrant was issued and the ticket got thrown out
you never challenge the ‘King of the Road’ when you’re only about 2Tons, compared to 40Tons or more
A lot of them are queens too
Seems like the vast majority of the time there is no collision
Truckers should get one, "get outa jail free card" each 24 hour period.
Hey! My video made it on Dashcam Lessons! I'm the driver of the dumptruck at the 3:06 mark.
#9 I didn't know children were allowed to drive semi trucks.
Fr tho! Of all interstates tho, it had to be I-81, truckers valley
@@silverhawk_25 ive been hit and run by a trucker on 81. some nice people followed the guy to his distro centre
That company better fire this idiot immediately or they will have the DOT all over their asses.
Yep. We're getting paid to not get into accidents, not to get into accidents and then blame the other guy
People who do this kind of stuff need to be charged with attempted murder and marked as a felon for the rest of their life. We need stricter laws when it comes to driving in America, it's a privilege, not a right. Those who think they own the road should never be allowed to drive on them again.
If the phantom wedge from GTA was used in real life, there'd be alot less road rage 😆
If you drive an "18 wheeler" long enough, literally everyone of these senerios WILL happen to you
Some people got way too much time on their hands 🥴🥴
Me! I'm here watching road rage videos instead of planting all the plants I purchased at the nursery yesterday!
Watch right shoulder?.... phew, so glad you mentioned it, the car was almost invisible.
I get such a perverse delight in watching fools who brake check semis, getting rear ended!
12:15. This truck driver really should stop looking for trouble.
I like this "Bad drivers never miss an exit."🙂🙂🙂
#4 is the best of all ;)
"you have to let me in and go! i have to go to work!"
what ive learned growing up in a cold climate, is Truckers almost always drive too fast in ice with some false sense of traction. So many trucks in the ditches in the winter here.
There are a bunch of brainless car drivers out there. I never get why some of this people mess around with with semi trucks, knowing they can cause accidents for everyone else in the road. 😡
Why would you break check something that can crush your vehicle in seconds, people literally have death wishes
#1 - Never fails to amaze me how emotionally fragile people in a hurry to go nowhere always seem to have the time to play stupid games. Great deescalation by the cammer. Engaging with fools just gives them what they want.
i drove a truck many years ago, back before a CDL was the thing, we had class D chauffeur's license, dont think i would have the patience some of you old boys have to these days putting up with what you have to on the road. hats off to you all
Brake checking is becoming a real problem. We need stricter laws to address this issue. Big fines and even jail.

Love the lady getting out to take pics and now she is behind the truck 😅
#1 - I wonder if they realise that that spoiler and acting like that just screams "I'm compensating"
They seem to forget all that crap is made out of plastic and/or carbon fiber which doesn't react real well to being smashed from behind by a potentially 40 ton semi.
How to tell everyone "I have a teeny weeny weiner" without saying the words.
Love the trash talk over the CB 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭🤣
#16. He's mentally unstable
Indeed he's literally started the whole thing moving into the cars lame after a pass to give him the highbeams just because he think his lights are too bright. Some kind of stupid.
2:02 truer words have never been spoken. I don't understand how folks don't realize how easily a semi could end their lives by pulling clown shit like this
But in these videos a collision almost never happens, and when it does, it's usually no more than a love tap. Pretty good odds.
Some of these… the trucker should be legally able to plow them.. especially with the videos..
I love seeing the differences between countries dash cam footage. Really tells you a lot.
And then there's the USA, where each region - and some states - might as well be their own country
