The Boys is set in a universe in which superpowered people are recognized as heroes by the general public and owned by a powerful corporation, Vought International, which ensures that they are aggressively marketed and monetized. Outside of their heroic personas, most are arrogant and corrupt.
The Boys infiltrate Victoria Neuman's campaign event as a sabotage mission. The mission goes awry when Homelander and Ryan arrive. Ryan learns Billy has only six months to live. Victoria's daughter Zoe attacks forcing the group to leave. Homelander recruits Sister Sage as a new member of The Seven. Homelander orders the murders of three supporters while Sage begins a riot, in a plan to blame Starlight supporters.
The series primarily focuses on two groups: the titular Boys, vigilantes looking to keep the corrupted heroes under control, and the Seven, Vought International's premier superhero team. The Boys are led by Billy Butcher, who despises all superpowered people, and the Seven are led by the egotistical and unstable Homelander.

Hughie needs therapy. A lot of therapy
Dealing with the fallout of Annie’s abortion being released to the public, killed a guy, neglectful mum is trying to reconnect with him, dad had a stroke, had to get v with the help of the guy who killed Robin, Dad gained powers and killed innocents, Hughie then killed his dad, BDSM and sexually assaulted by Tek Knight and Ashley.
Everyone in that god damn show needs therapy.
Wasnt that bad tbh, tek was able to do way more, especially that web weaver is into "heavier" stuff as tek knighy said himself and things they did were light
They def going for noir being a better homelander. Him being able to fly is just the first piece of evidence.
Someone has spoke to someone who has read the comics or watched the same TH-cam videos as me 😂
Firecracker just became the most powerful person under homelander... She's playing the game and just made one hell of a move.
I hope butcher goes full on eren yeager and become the villain in S5 with his goal of genociding all supes.
Sage's face, when she gives that nod to Victoria was hilarious, I was rewinding it and watched it about 5 times, it was brilliant 😂 Real GIF material!
Herogasm has competition for the freakiest episode
I think this episode and herogasm are neck and neck lol
I think A-Train’s time is coming to an end, but I’ve said it before.....it doesn’t matter if A-Train is faster than Homelander. Homelander just needs to find A-Train’s brother and nephews and that would lure him out 😣
Is it just me, or does anyone wish Jeffery dean Morgan's character joe was real and not butcher's delusion? I would have liked to see him interact with the rest of the characters.
I agree mostly because I love Jeffery Dean Morgan
shooting webs from his butt was a call back to dr strange MOM. Marvel actors def watch the boys lol
And probably referencing real Spiders too
The bullet inside of Sage’s head has me worried. It could possibly affect her healing.
If I remember correctly, even after the lobotomy, she still retained some of her intelligence. Meanwhile after getting shot, she was a completely different persoj
Pretty sure it passed through
Seriously disappointed we didn’t see Tek-Knight’s Suit or his Car. Why is he named Tek-Knight anyways? He doesn’t even have any Tech even tho the game showed him in a Mech-Suit and The Deep mentioned his Batmobile in Season 2. The G-Racer or something….
And don’t gimme that Excuse about ’Budget Issues’, Amazon is the Richest Corporation in the World and they’d certainly dish out the Extra Millions for their most Prized Show. I also Wish They didn’t kill Tek-Knight off (He could still be Alive, We didn’t see a Body and y’know The Comic Book rules). He had so much potential. We could’ve gotten a Whole Ass Spin-off with just him (Pun Intended 😂)
I completely agree. I was really hoping to see Tek Knight in his armor. That would've been pretty cool to see. I know to some he's not that interesting of a character, but it seemed like a bit of wasted potential.
@@Tek-Knight5592 Like, Bro, Atleast give us a Cool Decked out Car and some customized Gattling Lasers or something…Just ANYTHING!
@@therealmr.incredible3179 Yeah I was seriously hoping for a little bit more as well
This episode showed both sides are capable of great evil. Homelander is looking to put humans in concentration camp while Billy Butcher is looking to commit mass genecide.
Not to mention happily hacking off a man's leg
OMG it was dirty business for sure. The level of planning and then the whole metaness with Spiderman and Bruce Wayne Parody is just bonkers. Ironically Hughie voiced Peter Parker in Across the Spiderverse and then the name call to Zendaya was hilarious. It looks like they are creating a World War II type scenario with a political backdrop. The first rule of episode 6 is we don't talk about episode 6. That's some next level Secret Window with Joe Kessler the V'd up personality taking over his mind.
Frenchie is gonna notice the sues getting the prisons ready to hold their prisoners and either agree to get info for them from the inside, or otherwise screw the bear internally.
Zendaya 😂😂
Kesslers knows it would kill butcher and himself...but like kessler said earlier he is butcher sub conscious and butcher doesn't want to be alive without becky.
Butcher may be suicidal but the tumor/symbiote wouldn’t be; any living organism will do anything to survive, it acted independently to kill Ezekiel, it will not let Butcher take any action that will threaten its existence
No way bro, firecracker has alot of power .she has something that homlander wants!maybe even needs, and she has a huge advantage with that, homelander is now gonna give alot of attention to her and she can have a pretty big say in the 7 now
How she kmow he likes breastfeeding
Everyone in the world guessed that twist with Butcher at the end tbh
Yeah, honestly I find it kind of insulting that the writers tried to play it off like a twist. I thought it was fucking obvious and it's becoming too cliche. It was fresh with fight club, but we really gotta stop doing this. Audiences know too look for it. Just like "if you don't see the body...they're probably still alive!" Now we know "if you don't ever see them talking in public...it's probably in the protagonist's head!" Ugh, and You on Netflix pulled the same shit out of nowhere with Joe.
@@jskrabac I agree man everybody and their mother guessed that after like episode 2 😂.
@@jskrabacI don’t think it’s that serious. In episode 1 of the season, there are multiple fight club references so the writers are at least pointing out where their inspiration came from. It especially makes sense with how sick butcher is.
7:38 that face 🤣
Literally nothing has happened in S4
Honestly I find it kind of insulting that the writers tried to play it off like a twist. I thought it was obvious and it's becoming too cliche. It was pretty fresh with fight club since it wasn't overdone yet, but we really gotta stop doing this. Audiences know too look for it. Just like "if you don't see the body...they're probably still alive!" Now we know "if you don't ever see them talking in public...it's probably in the protagonist's head!" Ugh, and You on Netflix pulled the same shit out of nowhere with Joe.
What? I don’t think it matters that it’s predictable. It matters how it’s handled. Most people online knew it was In his head but they also really liked the way it was revealed too.
I feel like the writer keep forgetting Homelander can see through walls. In S4E1 he sees the tumor in Butcher's brain, but then later he cant see Huey through the ventilation duct, at this party he can't see all the shenanigans happening just in the other room. Also I expect to see Frenchie leading some kind of prison riot inside Tek Knights prison, after they start using it as an internment camp.
The vent makes sense since it’s most likely made out of zinc. I assume he would have to choose when to see through walls. What’s a little confusing to me though is his super hearing. It’s established as a threat in the first season but then it’s never really used against the boys again in a major way.
Am I the only one that is realizing that Butcher now has super powers even without taking V? Otherwise, he couldn't have killed Ezekiel. He just has to figure out how to use it at will.
yeah it was like we had 40 mins of like 10 15 hours of the day from last episode
They could use Sage powers to cook up the virus🤔
Please read my FIRECRACKER HAS SECRET POWERS theory lol..
Ok, hear me out.,,
I’m starting to wonder if when firecracker snaps something else happens besides just a little spark… Something to do with the mind… Either that or the writing is atrocious lol.
There have been so many times where someone talking to her has a mood switch that is so violent lol… Think about how fast the crowd gave her after the rape of the teenage boy thing… How she got millions of followers overnight…
And how did she even know that Homelander would want to do that (nurse from her)? That’s not common knowledge. That’s like his most heavily guarded secret.
I honestly wanna go back and watch what happens. Write it for every time she snaps her fingers. Because I noticed another thing… Whenever someone asks her what her superpower is… She never explains it… She just snaps her fingers to show the spark… And as the viewer, that comes off as her like, showing them that it’s not good… like “this is all I got!”… But what if it’s actually a red herring… What if she’s actually doing some other power that activates when she snaps…?
Not to mention… The character “without powers” is always the one with the strongest power or secret powers.
I know the boys likes to go against trope… But I really hope they didn’t in this case because I haven’t seen anyone saying anything like this besides me. And also… It could potentially explain a lot of the things this season that have made me go, “I’m happy to suspend my disbelief to a far degree for this show, but I just can’t believe that human beings would act/react like this.”… and there have been several involving her specifically.
Like I get that, they’re making fun of right conservative extremists, like QAnon people… that’s exactly why it doesn’t make sense that they wouldn’t have turned on her when they found out she had been with a teenage boy… They would’ve thought that she was spy or something lol. All right, I won’t keep rambling, but there’s a lot of things this season that have made me feel like it’s too far of a stretch to believe that people are acting that way naturally.
(Edited for typos)
I was so happy to see Web Weaver I've been waiting to see their take on Spider-Man, and Tek Knight with all the Batman stuff and his sex dungeon was great
Zendaya being the safe word had me laughing for a good couple minutes
I loved MM shooting Sage in the head and A-Train helping and the Kids smile seeing him be a hero
I liked The Butcher scenes
I do agree wasn't a ton in terms of moving the story forward especially weird with the season almost being over but it was a fun and hilarious one
My guess is we'll either end the season or start next season with Homelander in the White House, I feel like that's where it's going
Do you ever play battlefront 2? Sorry if I’m beating a dead horse, just trying to rally some players to game with :)
I hoped they fully adapted comics except the ending
I wanted to see ultimate evil like they showed in comics with noir as homelander eating babies.
Coz thats the essence of the boys
Evil and dark.
Eric Kripke said he didn't want to make Black Noir to be a Homelander clone because (I'm paraphrasing) he thought it wasn't satisfying to make the Villain you've followed for years not actually be the villain, and additionally says cloning felt too magical for the show as weird as it sounds
(source is an interview with CBR)
Which personally I agree with some fans love it but I didn't really like the twist I like Black Noir being his own original character instead of a Superboy type character
The Boys doing what The Boys do
That’s great 😊😊
I don’t know much about TH-cam rules but I think you can say the word “milk”, Boba.
Milk
@@BobaTalks there you go 🙂
Ashley is my crush from The Boys same as Neumann 😮💨💜💜
Waiting for this review💀
shit was crazy
I want to start this comment by saying, I am not a pervert 😂.... but I have noticed, that there have been over a dozen examples of male nudity in this season, but not ONE example of female nudity.... Now I don't care whether the Boys has nudity or not, but this feels a little double standards? 🤷♂️ Maybe I'm the only one, it just seems a bit strange
Exactly! It's too much. I really wanted to see firecracker 😂
Cuz male nudity funny according to these writers. Idk about a double standard but they seem to think dick, balls, butt is hilarious
Tbh it was another wtf episode but I still like it
really bro? you can't even say the word milk or lactate?
This episode was so messed my god 🤣🤣🤣.
yo what
am i first?
