I discuss the story of the Amazon Prime video show and react to moments and characters such as Homelander vs Webweaver, Butcher passing out at the end with Joe Kessler smiling, The Deep and Black Noir VS The Boys, Kimiko and Frenchie working on the virus from Gen V, Starlight being taken by the supe shapeshifter, Victoria Neuman being the target and I also answer what Homelander will do now that Sister Sage has left. I think he's just too impatient and emotionally reactive to be able to stick to a plan and pull strings in the background.

Was on the edge of my seat the whole episode. I think the A-Train puppet lying still in the early part of the episode was some pretty tragic foreshadowing.
Bro I saw that and thought to myself "Yeah they're definitely foreshadowing his death." All the other puppets going limp during Ryan's speech could be foreshadowing for other characters' deaths too

@Mvdaaz Unlikely due to her animosity towards normal people. Working with the boys means those very people would make sure she is ignored. It seems Sage's fear, which is a reality for her, is being ignored and forgotten.

Honestly so much threw me off this episode. Everybody just felt so out of character out of nowhere and just so much happening, but I’m sure the last episode will patch up everything.

Now that I think about it. What if the Annie doppelgänger kills Singer right after they kill Neuman with the virus or Neuman in general dies? Then there will be a power vacuum that Homelander can very easily fill 🤔
My respect for A train after episode 7 went📈📈 he is no longer a mere product of the company or for entertainment but a true hero.

I think the ultimate death of Homelander is to remove his powers, and make him work at mcdonalds.
To be honest I don't think he'd really care.

You should remember that the only reason Homelander is doing what he is doing right now is because The Boys are actively trying to destroy him and The Seven.

Episode 8 of The Boys is called "Assassination Run" from the comic everyone wonders if A Train would die doing the right thing before Homelander kills him rather than Hughie?

I think Maeve is gonna return to save him.....
The new Noir this season is really interesting to me, he hasn't got much screen time but these little things that build up like sage doesn't lobotomise herself with him, he can fly and mainly his talk with the deep make me think they could be building him up to something. I feel like in the finale or next season he could take what deep said to heart and find out why Noir loved killing, finally understanding the old noir's motives and character (maybe even mentally connecting to the drawings he mentioned in ep 6). I could see Noir going on a rampage in the finale maybe even killing someone like Ashley or Frenchie (he probably isnt getting screentime if we're being fr)
Correction: Ashley swings back and forth between right and wrong. Starlight almost got her to help last season. She also deleted the footage of Maeve escaping. I'm also pretty sure she knew about the leak in crime analytics but just looked the other way.
I love how sage looked young/ innocent in her introduction but then they made her urban with lipgloss. Also her fake locs are good but they could have use real hair to make them look real

I think the shapeshifter has been Hughie’s mother this entire time. I think his mom injecting Hugh with the V in ep 4 all but confirms my suspicions

Knowing Butcher, he's gonna be testing everybody, every now and then since he was there when they found the shape shifter so he'd keep in mind that the shape shifter could've replaced any one of the boys.

He didn’t cry for Noir literally but he was heartbroken. A-Train on the other hand was different, because outside of a couple situations, A Train was always more useful than a liability
I don't know if he was really crying for a-train. It might be just him struggling with the emotions of feeling betrayed by people he trusted. He is seeing people be more fake towards him, more people turning on him and now he is struggling to hide the humanity underneath.
When did Noir betray him? If anything it was HL who betrayed Noir solely because Noir said "let's kill the POS Soldier Boy."

Would be ironic if Neuman saves Butcher by extracting the tumor and then popping it.
Would be legendary if they end the series with a shot of Ryan leading an actual superhero group but as the camera closes in you see him becoming a bit twitchy too, just like his dad, to show nothing has changed just a whole bunch of people died pointlessly.

@@NephritduGrey Ironically I'd say doing that would make it more like a fairy tale. Ryan didn't go through what Homelander did as a kid, so it'd make no sense for him to develop the same habits as him. I could definitely see him having SOME problems to work out but, at the end of the day his mom is his moral compass, and I'm sure he wouldn't give up what she taught him so easily
@@DoctorMario606 Well, he would still be a Supe, he killed his own mother with said powers, he shifts a bit morally/is malleable so he could turn out good or bad.
It could also easily become a slippery slope if he gets pushed with the info that he killed his own mother into reacting violently and getting used to violence as a problem solver.

I genuinely don't blame Homelander for his decision to fire Sage. He didn't fire her for standing up to him, he fired her for lying, she should've kept him in the loop.
Yeah trust is one of his main things as well
My theory is that sage decided not to tell him after he lasered the assistant before she even had the time to say anything. She knew it was a necessary part of her plan but he had to not know because in every universe where he finds out it ends up wrecking the plan. It then comes across as her keeping secrets which gets her fired. Homelander is going to need to step up physical force soon, he is no longer outsmarting his enemies.

She wants power and to be a "cool kid" who gets to bully her bully, but I think she figured out what dangers she got herself into.
Sister Sage will side with Neuman. I think, considering the alternative, Neuman is the lesser evil. And Neuman IS powerful enough to blow up HLs head clean off.

In that court room, Homelander only got a headache. She couldn't kill Stormfront either apparently so😂
Once crazy thing about Ryan's power potential that isn't talked about much was when he lasered Stormfront. It was more like a laser explosion instead of a precise beam like how Homelander slices clean through. Her entire body was burnt to a crisp with her legs and arm blown off.
Ashley's personality is quite clear in my opinion. Whenever someone bully her, she would find someone else to bully, continuing her endless abusive cycle. That is until Cameron Coleman's death. She now has no one to bully and she became broken. Is she redeeming herself? Probably not, she is, at her core, an abusive person being born from an abusive household.
Ashley isn’t really like that. Throughout the seasons it is clear that she has been stressed out and her rudeness came from that, but her domination kink stemmed from the fact that during those moments, she actually had control, when she hasn’t in years. I’m fairly certain she was never a killer, she just lived along them, and Cameron is the first person that she not only knew but was directly involved in getting him killed. And now she feels like she is just as bad as everyone else in the Seven.
A couple things. I’m fairly certain the dirt on Neuman isn’t gone but in the wrong hands. Neumann wasn’t afraid to kill Hughie because of the evidence because she could’ve done that whenever she wanted but she still cherishes Hughie. Secondly Sage was never really able to predict Homelander. She couldn’t predict him showing up to her door, or him killing the lady with the glasses, or him killing Web Weaver, etc. and the person that Homelander can’t defeat without Sage’s help is actually Edgar. Stan Edgar is back and he is the one mastermind that can only be brought down by someone like Sage or Neuman
The person Homelander can't defeat is his own son

But in the end, Homelander and his son must face of against eachother in an epic fight and he will die just as he did in the comics. This is obviously with what they are building for to the final season. The next step is that Neumann succeeds the plot to kill the president giving the supes divine power over America. And that would mean that the Boys Last season is one big slubberknucker

A train was the first person who got a selfie with a fan this season, and he was the first person AFTER that to hand over sensitive files (that time to the boys) also, how did the shapeshifter know the password to hughies safe and the line "one dumpster fire at a time"? Something just doesnt click.

the only thing I'm concerned about is how long is the final episode gonna be 😂. I don't think 60 minutes is gonna be there's still a lot of gaps to fill in, I really don't want to be disappointed and wait for the final season.
I like how serious A-Train is, I always thought he could be a tough supe to deal with now that he's got a new heart and off the V. Seeing him fight deep and be on point I really hope he doesn't die at least until the last season.
I have a feeling Hughies mom is a supe who will see thru the shapeshifter because her powers allowed her to see the V in his pocket. If she’s not the shapeshifter who walks in the room at the end with starlight
From the Boy's IMDB page, it seems like Cindy and Love sausage from season 2 are gonna show up next, definitely for more team-ups with Homelander(tho not sure why that Love sausage guy🤣🤣).
Oh my how popular is a-train ! He’s everywhere like even more than homelandsr. I knew I always say this but it’s easy to see why he got a big head while being in the seven
A-train has been my favorite character this season. I loved how he saved starlight which is a parallel to when he killed Hughie's previous gf. I think A train is gonna save the day in the next episode as the boys' plan gets screwed up.
Last week needed more Frenchie he's such a good character even if his release is a little hard to believe idc I was happy to see him back.
Then it sounds like it is as good as the previous seasons. Also, we’ve seen Ashley act sympathetic towards the victims since last season, so her doing so here makes complete sense.

More speculative, I wouldn't be surprised if Newman and/or Edgar get killed off. And my bet is on a surprise Sage twist that will see her continue into season 5.

Sage's notebook had a picture of Queen Maeve. Maybe she's the one person to stop Homelander?
She somehow knew about Homelander's breast milk thing so it wouldn't be surprising she knew about Maeve surviving. I just thought that was a cool reference and that Sage admired Maeve, or that that notebook was actually Firecracker's.
Have a feeling Firecracker may have some video of her released satisfying Homelander...

We didn't learn nothing new about them that wasn't explored on three previous seasons.

I might be alone with this, but there is just nothing that shocks me anymore after the 1st 2 seasons. I just really hope that season 5 which is tbh thankfully the last, will be a bloody hell! I like that there is no dumb music in this video.
The deep's scene was hilarious. So many movies and shows have done that arc where that one death makes them snap and they dont care anymore 😂 the deeps long gaze after ambroshas demise. "Ill kill every animal in the sea if youd like" as if he's talking to vader lol
I disagrere! Ashley does show remorse in the previous season towards Maeve. Once when Starlight questions her about Meave and the second time is deleting the footage showing Maeve is alive. I dont remember if there are others.

I think all that work Butcher put in to bring out Ryan’s human side bouta be undone when Kessler takes over his mind and that’ll send him on his own path since he knows Homie already doesn’t care for him the way he should

This season isn’t as bad as people make it to be. To me it’s been pretty good, a little slow on pace but I dont mind
I agree I don’t think it’s bad but it’s definitely not as good as the last three seasons
I think a lot of the hate comes from people feeling called on their politics
nah compared to the last 3 it is bad, S1 was peak imo

For me it been going is everything direction bit the actual plot. It just lack focus, and side questions in the most adhd kind of way
It’s obvious that Ryan will be the one who finally kills Homelander, and I’m okay with that.
I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing, but I literally have no idea, like no idea at all about how season 4 will conclude. This episode didn't really have a sense of finality to it, it doesn't feel like we are close to the conclusion, a lot of plotlines are still hanging right now. A lot of character are just talking and teasing how "something big and bad is about to happen", but that's all, they are just talking. What would have made this episode better was at least one more death beside Webweaver, so that we can actually feel those high stakes, not just being told about them verbally, but I guess this whole season is just one big build up for the final season. Episode itself is an 8/10, but considering this is a penultimate episode of the season, it's an 7/10.

For frenchie’s way out of jail, I was really hoping that they would conclude a lack of evidence or jurisdiction and let him out as a failure of the justice system. even real murderers walk free of damnation for their sins. maybe a scene with a guard giving him back his clothes telling him “hey, just be happy you have your freedom. maybe look inside” yadda yadda. i agree kimiko and frenchie felt a bit rushed but maybe there will be more?
Love Ashley. I never expected it but she's become one of my favorite characters in the show.
She's the only non-superhero perspective left in Vought. In that sense her gradual moral decline makes perfect sense.
She's trying to survive in a prison cell surrounded by monsters and she'll do what she has to. But she knows she's turning into a monster herself. "It's so easy to become a monster in this place" pretty much says it all.
my theory is for the last ep, is that ryan is the one whos probably gonna snap butcher out of kessler's persona
I don’t think it’s a persona brother. It’s a parasite that’s eating his brain away. He’s gonna have to die one way or another
My theory is Kessler is his own being now as the tumor. He seemed to have made Butcher fall under his will when Butcher started to get cocky.
So glad kimono wasn’t killed off!!! She is one of my favorite characters on the show. It would’ve been heartbreaking to lose her on the Boys show.
