I have the odyssey g7 240hz 1440p, i think of returning it and buying this on instead, on the ps5 on the odyssey g7 i have noticed on fifa 23 there is flickering when in a match but other games no issue when it comes to that, the thing is that the text looks pixelated on the g7 and i find it a bit bad, may be a faulty model i got

LG for some reason disabled these features on retail units, after sending out review units with them enabled.

This doesn’t come with a remote control,this is a monitor,i haven’t seen any remote be able to effortlessly turn this monitor on and off specifically this monitor. To turn it on and off theres a nub button on the bottom middle and thats where you do that and your settings to configure it.

Now it will do 1440p at 120hz with newly updated ps5 software now so you should be fine,i’ve been looking everywhere to see if it does have hdmi 2.1 but i might as well try it myself and get a new stocked ps5 and see.

It can hit 120@1080 or do the regular 60@4k but will downscale the 4k to 1440p. Not really worth for $500 but if it’s on sale for $350~ I think it’s worth it for PS5 and definitely for XS X/S.

The glow effect is light bleed and it's pretty common with IPS displays

Because the pst software update is beta version its not for everyone one right now it will release official for everyone soon
If you want beta version then go to psn site and join and apply for beta program

@@Dsbtc. Idk if it is possible on a console because it propably doesn't have enough performance to handle this game on 1440p with 120 FPS. I have Xbox Series S and 32GP850 and I can turn on 1440p 120 FPS mode in Xbox settings but not every game supports it.

Not all TVs are shitty I have a Sony x85k.. when you're running at 120 hertz there's hardly any input lag, very similar to a good gaming monitor maybe not quite as good but close. I also have an Acer Nitro so I know what a decent gaming monitor feels like and my TV is very close. I use both but mostly the TV I just like a bigger screen my eyes like it better
