- Hello everyone, I just took my new Lectric XP 3.0 long range for a first test ride and OMG!! This bike is completely blowing all of my expectations away!
The bike is beautiful and a must see in person, I had about 3 people ask me about it on my first ride.
Torque and speed is way more than adequate in my opinion. This thing really pulls and I haven’t even unlocked the class 3 mode, wow!!

Uhh, so where's the review?
So far I’m extremely impressed with my Lectric 3.0, finally unlocked class 3. Topped 30 mph on pedal assist 5 the other day, I was quite surprised it was able to go that fast.
The ride is extremely comfortable thanks to the suspension fork, giant seat and suspension post.
The range has completely exceed my expectations. I rode 10 miles yesterday and only one bar went down and when I got home it went back up showing a full battery.

I have the 2.0 and been going over 30mph unlocked. Found a trick to do that. Only wish battery lasted l Ionger but I would say no much difference

I was looking at the 2.0 for a while doing a bit of research, then the 3.0 came out. Heard the 2.0 is also a great bike!
Do you recommend the step thru or step over bike for this model?
Why did you get the high step versus the step thru model? I can't decide which one to get......

I wish I got the Lectric 3.0. I have a Kasen Ranger ST w/ 1,000W hub (32 mph) with the 26”x4” tires. Before that I had a Denago 27.5” tires 500W hub.
My wife and l are waiting for two 3.0 long range l am now that much more excited.

Lectric should release a performance ebike for $2200. For heavier cargo or mudding.
The next bike they release should be called the Lectric Xp 6.1.
It will go 28 if you change the speed settings and with pedaling
How long does it stay on? And can use it strictly use electric or strictly no electric as a option?
Yes it can be used strictly electric or non electric, how long it stays on depends on the pedal assist being used. I’ve gone for 2 1/2 hour rides and still had juice left in the battery 🔋 Hope this helps!

Is the lectric xp 3.0 long range worth it over the regular xp 3.0…trying to justify if the extra $200 is worth it
Never been on a XP 3.0 standard range, I decided to go with the Long Range and haven’t had any range issues. I guess it all depends on if you’ll just be going on short rides vs longer distance rides. Lectric has a range chart on their website. You can use it as a reference to help with your decision. Hope this helps!

Think you'll have any issues with cops since it's 1,000 watts and 750 is limit to ride anywhere, basically ?
I haven’t had any issues whatsoever, I ride around cops all the time. Hope this helps!

Wish I could help you with this one but I don’t tend to leave my bike locked and unattended.
Thieves can cut most locks with grinders unfortunately.
I have used the lock that came with the bike here and there. But the bike was within my view at a short distance with my bike alarm on as well. Hope this helps!

Hows the seat height, as Im 5'9", seemed a bit high? Maybe the step through model would be better- seat would go down 2" lower. The step thru just doesn't look the same.
Hey Tim, as someone who is also 5’9” I’d say that the seat height is perfect, but borderline high for myself. I have the seat post positioned to the point where you can see the LE on the branding. With this seat height I’m still able to place my feet flat on the ground. For anyone who’s shorter I’d suggest a test ride if possible on both models.

Very slow.. kepler faster
The Kepler is an awesome bike from what I hear. I’ve only hit 31 MPH on the Lectric. I love the fact that I can fold the Lectric and throw it on the backseat of a car. I’d love to test ride a Kepler someday though. Thanks for commenting!
