    Wow! Just... Wow 🥺! That's what separates your BISH'S from the other ones! We hear the stories about your family and can connect your family history with what some of us are going thru right now!
    Thank you Josh for telling us about the times with your father and your family history. You are willing to pour your heart out to us in videos means a lot to us in the Nerd Herd.
    We all love you Josh!

      TY Robert. I handed that white step thru to my dad after his cheap junk "ebike" went to pot. We rode around the other day. It was awesome
      This is something we NEVER could've done otherwise

    We bought two step thru 3.0s a couple weeks ago. Got the passenger package to carry our granddaughter around. Also, you can get a good workout in pedal assist settings O, but you can also zip around with ease on higher settings. Looking forward to using them camping this summer.

    Thanks for the review Josh! I've watched several of this new model already and yours is the one that presents the info in a way that helps me the most! We plan to use our ebikes for errands (like shopping or laundry), plus going places where parking is inconvenient (some towns and trailheads can get crazy crowded for parking). Exploring the outdoors should be fun too.

    Solid Review. Just a tip for the current Black Friday Sale (with free bundle of suspension post and seat, lock and light) for $999. Notice the "extended range (another 4ah more) for $200 more: Why not just get the $999 standard version and order an extra 10.4ah battery for $300? So instead of a $1,200 XP 3.0 with a 14ah pack (only 35% more range) , for $1,300 you got a fully loaded, XP 3.0 with a giant 20.8 ah battery supply (100% more range). You just strap the 2nd battery strapped on the rack or tote in pannier or backpack). For short rides, just leave the extra pack at home. Just as the $999 10.4 amp XP 3.0 is incomparable, there's no match for $1,300 XP 3.0 with a 20.8ah battery capacity That's 35-90 miles of range on a fully suspended (with free comfort package) folding for $1,300! Another thing that the XP 3.0 has above most others is that after three iterations, the design is now "sorted" and "debugged" (wider bars, stronger rack, better front suspension, better/stronger motor (bigger controller). etc.

    Bishin enough of a review to have me procure one for my wife. Yes, she is young but had a sever ankle injury a couple years ago and it still gets sore after some normal riding time. I must say, its my 1st delve into E-Bikes and I am glad I spent just a tad more on this one than some of the others out there. She is really liking it so far. Thanks Josh!

      @rogereide ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GermoWorld I did buy two, one for me and my wife. A company called SONDERS. They started a few years ago and I have watched them since they crowd funded. They recently had one model they call STEP with a very good price on refurbished bikes with a 90 day warranty. I bought 2 and 1 was perfect while the second one had a couple of issues that the company totally took care of without hassle. So far (I haven't had much chance to ride because we have 2 feet of snow and ice yet) I am impressed with the bikes and the company support.

  • @ChrisZwolinski
    @ChrisZwolinski ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Good video Josh. Happy Birthday.
    My wife and I got the Lite Lectrics to see if they would be worth it to us.
    We met a couple who had the 2.0s at Acadia National park and they wanted ours while we, of course, wanted theirs. Once we have more time to see the sights we'll upgrade.
    We carry ours in the back of our Subaru in large plastic tubs covered with a moving blanket for ease and so they don't knock around. They fit side by side with the back seat down.
    We went through Canada on vacation and the customs guys just glanced in the back window and didn't blink and eye.
    You can still use them for exercise by not using the assist, but there is a mode that still slightly assists to help overcome the weight.
    Loving ours so far. Haven't tried going through a closet yet.😯

    We bought two of the 2.0's this spring and take them everywhere with us in our class C motor home. They will even fit in without folding them. I fitted baskets on the rear rack and we even take our two small dogs for trips around the campgrounds we visit. I am 71 and my wife is 65 and we have no problem loading and unloading them. These bikes go on every camping trip with us.

    I bought the 2.0 this past March. It fits nicely between the foot of the bed and the dinette in my Jayco Jay flight SLX 8 224BH (folded and in a tote). Very satisfied as it takes me up extremely steep hills and gets me around town for some exercise. I have a mobility issue, and my Lectric Bike 2.0 gives me peace of mind knowing that I will be able to get home if my legs decide they are done. I did watch your 1st video review on the 2.0 before I made the purchase. Thank you for your honesty, and humor, in all your video reviews.

    Thanks Josh, very informative review. Like some of the other commentators,I’ve been thinking about an e-bike. Actually for my wife but would also occasionally use it as well. I’m a bike rider and always bring my mountain bike along when we RV. My wife, on the other hand, doesn’t enjoy peddling. The few times (years ago) we brought her bike along it didn’t get used so I don’t even bother bringing it anymore. In fact her bicycle hasn’t been out of the garage in a VERY long time, it basically is a towel rack for my car washing towels 😂
    I think that she would be much more likely to ride with me around the campgrounds on the e-bike. Not to mention I, like you, am just an overgrown kid and love my “toys” and know that it’s much easier to justify to my wife spending the money if it’s “for you honey” so we can (as you stressed) spend more quality time together while RVing. I’m sending her the link to this video now.
    I think Santa will be bringing my wife an e-bike for Christmas.

    Nice introduction to the new 3.0. I owned most of the Lectric bikes, the 1.0, 2.0, and the XPremium. I passed down my 1.0 and 2.0 to friends. Even though the 3.0 is great I know they will come out with a 4.0 probably with the 750 hub motor. I am sure the 3.0 is a great upgrade, I have heard some people talking about how the brakes squeal. I would like for the 3.0 to have hydraulic brakes like the XPremium.That would be a game changer for me to buy it. My older 1.0 and 2.0 that I gave to friends, I see all the time, because we go riding together. Nice video, thumbs up!

    Just my two cents worth: I found the "2.0" a little too heavy to take camping. It was unwieldy when moving it in or out of the RV, folded or not. We bought the XP Lite for my wife and, at 45 lbs., was much easier to handle. It doesn't have all the niceties of the 2 or 3.0 but doesn't weigh 20 lbs. more and fits the bill for us older people who aren't looking to pop a wheelie. 😁

      UPDATE on Damaged Box: Josh @ Lectric was very understanding & sent me new pedal assembly to replace the broken one done by FedEx in transit. I have pics of package (big hole in box) 3 broken pieces of the padal assembly & chips of paint where the pedal bounced around. Lectric eBikes went above & beyond what I thought they would do, and Grateful of their generosity. As for FedEx, they still haven't returned my call......

We would have loved to have purchased it directly from you, but we live in Alabama and we bought this one from an individual for a great price. As soon as we bought it, we had to get the fridge removed and warrantied though. It's the Norcold N8DC 12v. Hopefully that's the only hiccup we will experience for a while. We can't wait to get camping. I'm sorry this is long winded but do you think you could make a video covering some storage and accessory ideas just for the 264? What do you think of the throttle response? I recently bought an XP 3.0, and I found the pedal assist to be reasonably powerful, but when using throttle only, the performance is underwhelming. Kinda lazy and uninspiring. The motor just doesn't have the same "oomph" on throttle-only as compared to when using pedal assist.
      Your thoughts?

      @@Milesco- Weather just broke and we have clear sunny skies today, so i'm planning a bike ride after work today. I'm a total noob (last time i rode a bike before this was in my teens, about 30 years ago) so it took me a couple of miles to get my footing. It's pretty hilly where i am and not a bunch of bike lanes, but i had it out on the road in second gear, PAS 2 and 3 up the hill pedaling and with the throttle felt like i should be ashamed of myself, lol, way too much like cheating. I really wanted a bike for exercising, but now that i discovered ebikes, well, could be even more fun getting some pedaling out and about.

      @Milesco ปีที่แล้ว

      @@claudiag.2055 Thanks for your speedy reply, Claudia. Yeah, I know what you mean about the feeling of "cheating" when using the throttle only! 😁
      Nonetheless, the bike _does_ have that feature, so when you've had a chance to ride your bike some more and get used to it, and you've had the opportunity to familiarize yourself with both pedal assist and throttle-only modes, please let me know what you think about the relative motor performance regarding pedal assist mode vs. throttle-only.
      The reason I ask is that while the pedal assist on my bike seems to be pretty good, the throttle-only performance seems comparatively weak. I'm wondering this is normal or if there's something wrong with my bike.

    Josh: “Happy camping everyone” 26:07
    So, are you including e-bike camping in your scope of “casual recreational” 21:20 for the use of the Mark 3.0? It’s been years since I’ve done a bike camping trip. But I can see right off that if you’re going to do any serious e-bike camping you’ll need to have more than just that small cargo rack on the back even if it is 100# rated. You’ll definately need to add front and rear panniers. Panniers are going to carry you gear, food, tent and sleeping pad/bag. Only thing that should be on your back on a bike camping trip is your hydration pack. Would like to see a rear facing flashing safety light under the seat. That pedal assist feature would be awesome while going up a grade. Folding feature looks really nice for the beginning and end trailheads and for overnight camping. If you know, can this Mark 3.0 be charged off of a solar panel at the campsite? Or is 120v shore power only? Respectfully, W.S.

    Really good review on the upgrade, fine points and experience. My 2.0 takes hills well, much better
    with some peddling assist. They ARE heavy. Folding into a large crate is possible, after taking the seat off and dropping the handlebars it is pretty compact. Crate transport is good to avoid gouging plastic around the cargo area. The bike with front shock and seat post compression makes rough ground a lot easier to traverse.
