Haters have been around since mankind came to the fore, haters project their insecurities on others and its so easy for these "Keyboard commandos" to vent their large spleens on the people who make the effort to better themselves simply because these haters are empty vessels who instead of taking steps to self improvment can only try everything to decry those who they perceives as their betters.
