Good episode Clinton. 17 minutes into my very first shift up in NW Alberta- single vehicle MVC, two teenage girls off road right, into the bush. Both injured, on their way to Bible camp. Had to take 6 statements, engage VSU, tow the car, contact parents etc etc etc. Both girls were fine, got my first two Thank You cards from my first call on my first shift. Later in the night, started making T stops. Second car- driver suspended, had Fm7 and Fm21 warrants. Talk about jumping right in 🤦🏻♂️
Ahh yes. Buffalo Detachment. Who could forget the stolen red bike scenario. Or the graffiti scenario. Learning to detain impaired drivers rather than to arrest🙄. Arguing with instructors about the merits of passenger side approaches before prevailing wisdom kicked in out on the street. I hear they still don’t really put any emphasis on this, blows my mind.
They forgot to look the door in a foot pursuit guy doubled back around a house and took it lol. Some druggy, took it for a rip around town while we pursued it. Dumped it in a field. Got bit by a k9 and he’s since died
Depot training is so pathetic. It's actually dangerous that they don't teach you proper police skills. You could get involved in serious calls your first week that you have no idea what to do
No thanks I won’t like and subscribe nothing. I downloaded the video. I’ll watch it on my own accord and we’re gonna create a nice video out of this since you’re into stealing videos so are we on the other side?
I have aquestion. Why are the guys out here. Bullys over covid. 7 of you guys come in my business and scare one of my employees over covid crap.3 months in regina aint enough.

This was awesome! Thanks Clint! Tell us about your first real call that had some action !
DEPOT is Basic Training.. Basic.. the 10 foot fence around around Depot protects you from harm. Cadets in Depot take good scenario training.

Don't do those stupidly precise Depot arrests, you'll get laughed at.
what does that mean?
@@Osmodeuss ig he means dont follow every stupid unecessary step
Listening to this while I'm trying to get my kit together (no, really. Where's my Stetson?) for Remembrance day lol
I personnaly prefer someone who watch at first than someone who jump on stuff doing stupid things without knowing
Looking forward to the next livestream!
