Illumination took this song out because they don't want to be attacked, saving their own skin. Why are so many rightists or rightist corporations so cowardly.
@@Raaaaagh I'm so late on this, but it's related to big corporate companies only caring about their money and not the people or environment. though that's only what the movie is really about honestly. the book focuses on greed and pride, and that every human being can have those two things. it's also about caring for the environment, but the movie is completely different.
the once-ler becomes more and more unhinged and detached from reality throughout this song and it's so scarily true of business people today and how they don't care what happens to other people as long as they can get money
I think it's funny that a movie about how evil corporations are cut the only song that holds the message the source material was portraying for the sake of a corporate image
I wanna burn Illumination’s offices for rejecting this masterpiece, everytime I listen to How Bad Can I Be? I really feel so mad for the fact that the song doesn’t have the same vibe that Biggering gave us.
i watched the whole thing without even realizing it yesterday... left it on like “cool i dont have to open the app again when its over” and then it STOPPED and i realized i had watched the entire thing. i wonder if im the only one lmao
I’m confused at the wording in this line. “And biggering, is triggering, more biggering.” Does that mean the biggering is triggering for him, or that the biggering is triggering more biggering? Like that it is biggering more? Sorry if this english is bad
Thank you cause I was so confused does the once-ler really sings this or someone else not voice acting the once-ler but creating the song for the actual actor to read.
This was basically the demo for what they intended to have as the once-ler’s song, so before using the actual voice actors they had someone else sing it to show the producers
They act like he is redeemed(Thank god the oncelor fandom is dead) but he represents capitalism. He ended plant life and animal life, O'hare is selling oxygen but if plants are gone and some people aren't buying air, why are they breathing? He isn't doing anything so really he is a useless antagonist. The only logical thing about this movie compared to the original is that the oncelor(Sorry if I butchered that name) is a capitalist and really is the main antagonist. He doesn't deserve forgiveness and only he realized that until he came out of his crappy house in the middle of nowhere. Why does everyone forgive him? Why are people able to breath? Why is O'hare the main antagonist? Why is this movie long even though this one song tells us the entire plot(the song had a good message though)? This is my take on the subject.
A tree company is actually a really bad company to use when trying to condemn what capitalism does to the environment. Trees can be grown, replaced, and they are, most trees planted today are planted by companies who’s money depends on them. In truth, for permanent destruction of forests, they’d should be critiquing the expansion of buildings, cities, and so on that build over the trees never letting them come back.
@@Avghistorian77 Yeah but the point isn't to be a perfect analog to specific companies and types of businesses. The point is that trees can be regrown, and there's really no need to take more than you grow, and there's really no point at all, because nobody needs a thneed (another deleted song), but it keeps making money, and it's faster and cheaper just to chop as many as possible, so you just keep doing that, just keep chopping. It's showing how easy it is to fall into the rabbit hole, just greed begetting greed, and before you know it, you've chopped down the last tree. You're missing the original commenter's point when they say "he represents capitalism." They're not saying he represents anti-environmentalism, which is what you're talking about. Seuss uses climate change as a way to communicate this stuff to us in a way that shows what capitalism is capable of, but it's not about the environment really. It's about capitalism, greed, and as the Lorax in this song says, pride. This song is the perfect antithesis to "How Bad Can I Be," because that song poses the question in its title, how bad can the once-ler be for greed? After all, it's just natural. Biggering responds that obviously, it's stupid to blame greed. The real problem is pride. When you let greed get the best of you so you can justify just keeping biggering, so that you have the biggest company of all, so that you were the person who destroyed an entire planet, so that you're the biggest kid on the playground.
@@KENNYAMARIS It will always seem strange to me that they have created a fandom just because they find it "attractive", I honestly don't find it attractive.

Like, How Bad Can I Be is a good song, but it’s nowhere NEAR the level that Biggering is at.
Honestly, this change doesn't surprise me. Biggering hits way too close to home for Illumination.
