- We visited EVERY state in Australia on a 3-month road trip and ranked them from best to worst - including New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and Western Australia.
Our ranking system includes which Australian states have the best beaches, best National Parks, and most natural beauty - as well as which capital cities (from Perth to Sydney) are the most interesting and fun.

Queensland would have rated much higher if you went further than Brisbane. Cairns and the Daintree area are awesome.

What are a few of the best things we missed?
@@TripOfALifestyle You missed almost the entirety of Northern Queensland...which is the best part of the state. You missed the Barossa, Kangaroo Island, Flinders Ranges, McLaren Vale and Victor Harbour... some of the best places in not only SA but Aus.
