How are you doing dental checkups for your braces while living like a nomad? Do you just go to a random orthodontists everytime to adjust them?
My orthodontist said it's okay to go up to 2 months between visits. The road trip we're on right now will only be about 6-8 weeks total, and I had a visit right before we left home! 🦷✨ -Lauren
I wish I had a partner who shared the same ideals but all she ever wants to do is spend spend spend, and consume consume consume. I really want to end things with her and find someone that wants to work hard and save early on instead of constantly wanting short term gratification.
This is an apple vs mango reasoning. We normal people run Windows. You here talks about Linux. Linux WILL RUN ON ANYTHING with processor and memory. So of course a Thinkpad X series is a haven any Linux will thrive forever.
Definitely! You're kinda making our point for us, haha. Running Linux is one of our top suggestions for keeping old laptops running faster, longer.

uwaow :o
Love these tips for DC! Compared to other US cities, the free museum factor makes it so attractive, and many people may not even be aware of it. The collections at the Smithsonian rank with NYC, Boston, and Chicago. Plus they're so close together on the National Mall and not having to pay $20 at each museum makes DC a bargain! Thanks for making this video!

Hey sir, I am your subscriber I watch your videos daily and follow you, mam I noticed one thing you upload videos daily but don't do video seo and don't give proper title description and video tag channel tag. If you do not do video SEO for uploading videos, then your video will not get good views and will not be subscribed. I would recommend you to definitely SEO your videos,
Investing is not just about making money; it's about aligning your investments with your values and making a positive impact on the world. Risk comes from not knowing what you're doing....
People dont understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments dont match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.
Very possible! especially at this moment. Profits can be made in many different ways, but such intricate transactions should only be handled by seasoned market professionals.
Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like mr Brian C Nelson.
Finding yourself a good broker is as same as finding a good wife, which you go less stress, you get just enough with so much little effort at things
Brian demonstrates an excellent understanding of market trends, making well informed decisions that leads to consistent profit
Capital One is better because they give you $200 when you spend $500 a 40% ROI... that Citi Card is a bad example of a 2% representation to hold up in your video. Get the Apple Card the best 2% card for they give you the cash back daily and not at the end of the month.

I have I-bonds from 2013 to 2023. Should I cash them in or hold on to them? If I cash them out, how would I do that?
Here's a video we made about when to dump I Bonds. It uses a specific scenario with bonds from 2022-2024 as an example, but you can apply the same type of reasoning to any year. th-cam.com/video/uIzona6HRlo/w-d-xo.html
Brilliant. This is straightforward, minimal risk and worked perfectly. After doing a bunch of searching and finding more and more complex 'potential' solutions, this saved the day. Thanks!
So happy to hear that!
Or you can order a buddy burger. You'll be happier.
Plese remove or change, this is incorrect and confuses people. Yes some devices may need a converter, but you dont for a laptop, iPad, Phone (i.e. 99% of what you travel with)
We actually published a detailed video with all the nuanced information here: th-cam.com/video/JtdQ0bwNzp0/w-d-xo.html

Great video. I do have a wonder though, when you came back from Hawaii you bought the condo, so surely this would’ve depleted your portfolio to around 30k? Then you did the national parks trip and said your portfolio was bigger than the last trip. But surely it was lower at the 30k mark. You didn’t mention another saving period to bring the portfolio back up? Is your FI position now from a rental and a paid off home or do you have an idex portfolio too?
Hey; great questions! Our total net worth was actually about $150k going into the Hawaii trip. Afterward, our net worth was still about $150k, but the condo represented ~$70k of that. This blog post has the exact balance breakdowns for our first quarter-million dollars: www.tripofalifestyle.com/money/we-saved-a-quarter-million-by-26/ This blog post details the Hawaii trip's finances: www.tripofalifestyle.com/money/zero-dollar-hawaii-honeymoon/ This blog post details the National Park trip's finances: www.tripofalifestyle.com/money/our-cost-to-see-every-national-park/ And here is a complete history of our first $1 million, with each trip put into context on a graph: www.tripofalifestyle.com/money/how-to-save-a-million-dollars/
@@TripOfALifestyle thanks for the reply! Regarding the blog to £1m. I understand that from the Hawaii trip you have been working freelance/flexible. Have you still been saving 50-80% of all income (even on flexible working) to keep adding to your savings/investments to maintain your path to the £1m? Do you even draw an income from your investments now or only live on salaries and leave investments to compound?
@@aarondawkins8668 The Hawaii trip was in 2015. We both worked full-time quite a bit more after that, until late 2018 (Lauren) and mid-2020 (Steven). Those were our most aggressive saving years (80%+ from 2016 - 2019). After ~2019-2020, we stopped working full-time and have just done part-time freelance projects. We haven't been withdrawing from our portfolio though. Our earned income still exceeds our expenses by a lot. We just do a lot less working! We did withdraw from our portfolio to pay $204k cash for a beach home in 2020 though.
@@TripOfALifestyle ah, that makes sense now :) And did/does the 80% go straight into investment accounts? Is that a mixture of retirement and accessible accounts to be able to withdraw to purchase the beach house. Or is it all in accessible accounts? Also do you use one single global tracker? Thanks for the replies
@@aarondawkins8668 Yeah, we pretty much invest all excess income at all times, in a mixture of taxable and tax-advantaged accounts. Our taxable/fully accessible account has historically been the largest. To track our net worth, we use the Empower Personal Dashboard: personalcapital.sjv.io/gbo4jr (affiliate link).
Thanks this was so helpful. I have been a permanent resident of Panama for over 2 years, with an electric account in my name. But I have been unable to download the Naturgy Panama Clientes app. I followed your advice and created a new Gmail just for this purpose. It didn't work for me without setting up a payment method but luckily I do have a bank card in Panama since I live here permanently now otherwise I would have done what you recommended and simply gotten a Visa gift card. But thank you so much I can now finally see and pay my electric bills from my phone. It was totally crazy being a permanent resident of Panama and being told the Panama electric company app was not available in my region. Your tips worked perfectly.
really cool vid. Keep it up girl
Thanks!
If I were to get a thinkpad now and use it for the next 10-15 years, which one would it be?
We think the X1 Carbon is really cool and great for travel, but it's not as upgradeable as the X220. The best strategy nowadays might be to just buy a slightly used ThinkPad (like the X1) on eBay at a big discount. Here's an affiliate link to shop around with: ebay.us/Bu2I86
Bro remove this video from TH-cam.
Why do you say that?

I got an old X360 laptop from a pawnshop for $50. It is an 8th gen Intel. All I did was slap some thermal paste onto the GPU and CPU and installed 8gb of ram for $20 to make it 16gb total and a 2tb M.2 I got for 100 and the final thing I did was to replace the battery for $28.. I got it over a year ago and still use it. today.
Excellent! 👏
I have the x230 ips screen high pixel density and 2.4/5.0ghz bt, 16gb RAM and 512gb ssd

Random question would this how much weight does this support? Cause your sitting on it wanted to know if you could use it for something other then a coffee table
At least 100 lb 😅
@@TripOfALifestyle thank you for getting back to me find some great content on your channel enjoy it had to ask putting a custom computer so want to make sure it will support it which like maybe 40 pounds 🙏🏻
About the type C charger, do you need to adapt the power input? Don't you use any kind of resistors or something?
The modded port (which is linked in the video description) has all that stuff built in!
