It’s not often you come across someone sharing their breakup or divorce so openly, and I could really feel the emotions behind your story. I truly appreciate your honesty and the vulnerability you’ve shown in sharing this experience. 💕I wish you good health, love and happiness.
@@OneKalmLatte I appreciate that so much. I’m always hoping that all of us can learn how to deal with our different issues through others. I’m hoping that someone’s marriage can be saved by thinking further ahead in the future. We get so caught up in what’s happening “now“ that we forget to look at the bigger picture.
Thank you for sharing your story! This happened to me and I’m 44. I will share my story as well because there are lessons learned that other people can benefit from!!! Thank you sis❤😊❤
@@RockinWithShonda you’re welcome and thank you! It really is hard to be vulnerable and admit that we messed up. But if it can help someone else to stop and think for a moment, it’s worth it🙏🏽🥰💐
I feel like this is not on you or your your ex husband. Unfortunately as women, navigating through life at the best of times is extremely difficult. I am not making excuses but as much as we think we are in control, we are not. We are ruled by our hormones and they are in a constant state of fluctuation. It is unfair, but it is what it is. There is not a time in a womans life except probably her most senior years that we can navigate life in a truly logical sense. We go through puberty, monthly cycles, pregnancies, birth, peri menopause and menopause. In between that some women are on contraception which also causes imbalances to our fragile hormonal system. Post natal depression is real, the demands of being a mother a wife a daughter etc are real. You did the best as you could under the circumstances. Again I am not making excuses, but hormones really do rule us in ways you cannot imagine. Men that take steroids have personality changes, this is because of hormones, as men age they often become less aggressive, their body changes etc...again hormones. But their hormones and amount of hormones do not fluctuate like ours. It is sad that you feel like this is your biggest regret but I truly believe you probably did the best you could have done under the circumstances you were under and the mental space you were in. To say that you should have tried harder is probably being hard on yourself, and hindsight and being in a different head and breathing space often makes us reflect on things removed from it. You can only ever do your best at the time in life, and I'm sure you did ♥
@@brooke1639 thank you for taking the time to share that perspective. And honestly, I believe that destiny is in control more than we want to believe. I really believe that if something is meant to happen, it will, and if it’s not meant to, it will not. But as a human, I will always wonder what could I have done better? That part of the design is really confusing 😆 We struggle with “should’ve/would’ve”. But again, your messages is comforting to me.🙏🏾💞💐
