Is the Dewla air guide actually efficient in making more HP? With the air guide in the way of the radiator have you had any temperature problems? Im thinking about getting it!
I honestly cant tell the difference. There shouldnt be any temperature problem. I havent had any so far anyways. But being that my nismo had a damper in front, the nismo damper will hit the air guide when the engine vibrates hard. Just be prepare to live with that if you have the nismo damper too.
Hello Gabe, We sent this product to Z1 for 3rd party testing. Jon yielded 7whp. (You can check out the dyno graph on their site) The air guide has been on more than several cars at Road Atlanta for track days with no heat soak issues. In fact, it actually helps guide air into the radiator as opposed to flowing over the top via the upper core support. 3 years on the market with no negative reports period. It is also great for tuning idle fuel trims as it keeps the MAF's from seeing air turbulence from the air reversion of the fans kicking on at idle speeds. Making it much easier to tune for the tuner. Reports from tuners across the country saying that after they install them, they were shaving ET times as well. 75mph is where it becomes effective and efficient. If you have any questions, Feel free to call.
@@hmongsunglass8981 Hmong, I noticed that you did not swing the guide far enough forward on your install. In the manual, it states that you are supposed to bring it flush to the front of the tow hook billet square. You installed the guide an inch or more further back than it was designed to be installed, which is causing your Nismo bar to hit. Also in the instruction manual. You install the longer bolts in the upper core support, then starting from the left side, simply wrap the top of the part around the backside of the crash bar and slide it to the right flip back up, done. It will slide right it if you approach it that way. have the nut provided in hand and just reach behind the guide and thread it on. Please call if you have any questions. We are here to help you guys if need be.
I have seen your AAM decescape tube videos. I think I will decide on the same configuration as you. Are they still giving you good results? Thank you for your videos and instructions. Greetings from the Pyrenees
My aam set up with Z1 intske system is pretty good especially with ecutek. Love the way it drive. I swap between the oem muffler and aam resonated short tail. As you get older you like peace of mind, especially from your neighbors. 😅
Yes I did put it upside down. I realized that after this video. But i gotta say, having the maf pointed up is so much better cause its easier to access them.

You put the intake pipes upside down. The maf sensors should be facing down. Thats why the fitment didnt work

You should test my car decibels lol
