I think you've already addressed this but as we hit the age of menopause/perimenopause -hormones and loss of muscle mass are factors for us that also play a roll. Weight loss gets harder and harder as we age-not impossible but harder than it used to be.

What really helps me is to walk for 1,5 hrs almost every morning and then just have one big meal. Also priorize sleep. High fat works better for me. With low fat I will feel awful and gain weight ?!. I actually had a month where I worked out and obsessed with the scale and didn’t loose a pound. Then I put the scale away and just slept a lot and De stressed and lost 3,5kg in that month eating fatty meat and sleeping 😮

Hear me out. I have been following you for a long time. Your story when you decided to veer off carnivore for weightloss - I was doing the same exact thing just a week or two prior to that video coming out and continued that for a few months. But I didn't get the results I wanted. SO. I inevitably went back to carnivore because my skin was starting to look terrible from the vegetables AND the binge eating that was happening (psoriasis and cystic acne both came back). One of my local gym friends used this bodybuilding coach named Colt Milton... who just so happens to be a carnivore coach. I decided it was time to take the plunge and hand my nutrition over to someone else. He spent probably double the time I paid for talking to me for the initial consult. He then wrote my nutrition plan and sent it the same day. I started on January 1st at 182lbs. As of this morning I am 165lbs! I'm freaking shocked. And the best part is, I'm never hungry (except on my period, so he just tells me to eat more plain ground beef if I'm truly hungry during those times). The goal was to get to 145lbs by June, or 1lb a week. And it's only been 9 weeks and I'm 17lbs down! It is insane. I never thought I'd be able to get back here. Just wanted to update you on my own journey in case it's something that might help you. I noticed I tend to stick to things much better when I"m paying for them.
But it's incredible how fast it's been working. My hunger has gone waaaay down. So much that I have to remind myself to eat sometimes and often fall into a natural state of fasting because I'm just not hungry. I've never experienced this before. So it just blows my mind. I went into this as a last resort before paying an absurd amout of money to see a naturopathic doctor because I just assumed my body was broken at this point. So glad I didn't. I actually gained 2lbs in the first 10 days because he had me doing high fat to get me fat adapted again. Then changed up my macros and from those two weeks on, I've just been on a downward trend. It's been such a relief! If you ever want to talk, my ig is @w.waifu
**I keep editing because there's so much I meant to say haha. I'm 5'9 and last year I got all the way up to 200lbs eating 1300 calories of chicken thighs for a month while weight training 5 days a week AND training in MMA 2-3x per week for 1.5-3hrs each time. So I was convinced no diet changes were going to work. But my doctors couldn't find anything wrong with my bloodwork.
I wish you the best in whatever you do next and I can't wait for the next update!

I agree with others in the comments maybe you can try a carnivore coach for a few months it will be something new you haven’t tried and handing it over to someone else might be a great thing for you less pressure on you. If it doesn’t work then you can move on and try something else. I’m one of the lucky ones I’ve lost all the weight and then some in 5months into the carnivore diet. I think because I never had a crazy sweet tooth just a crazy salt tooth 😂I can drink stevia sweetened electrolytes and not be fazed. Just for reference I’m 5’7 135 42 years old. I’ll continue to root for you and pray you find something that will work for you long term.

I feel you! After being strict carnivore for 6 months, I added honey to my tea when I was sick, three weeks later, I was binging on gummy bears and Milky Way bars in my car so I could ditch the wrappers at the gas station. Back on track now.

I remember when you shared that you were binging and had eaten your boyfriend's last bag of popcorn. It sounded as if you felt guilty that he didn't have his snack at TV time so you went to buy more for him. All of that seemed to me that either he wasn't supportive or that you felt so miserable about yourself ... neither of which are healthy for you. My thoughts are that he could support you by not smelling your home up by popping popcorn when you're struggling. And to think that he was okay with you going to the store to get it for him gave me more bad vibes about all of that. There was talk about you making cookies for him and then sneaking some. For me, when I lost weight, I didn't allow any of that in my home or life. Do you feel fully supported by those you're in relationships with? Maybe the problem is not you. Love yourself above all else.

Very good points. My friend/roommate stopped baking cookies around me. My dil brought See’s into my bedroom so her daughter wouldn’t eat them… so we ate them instead! 😂😂 Not good.

I’m right there with you! I did a solid 3 months carnivore almost 2 years ago and I’ve been off and on ever since. For me, it’s like going through a bad breakup every time I try to stick to carnivore. I try to keep in mind how terrible I feel eating junk but inevitably can’t stop thinking about the things I miss about the bad foods. It’s hard!!

Thank you so much for sharing! I've been following your story because we really do have such similar profiles (same height/age/build/weight/history of binging, and struggle to lose weight)...Everything you say resonates so much with me! I've been carnivore for 2.5 years, and the only time I lost weight was if I was fasting a lot... which I've given up.
Last week, I decided to try another tweak-- to greatly increase my fat. I used to eat about 1-2 kg of ruminant meat every day, sometimes with added butter or tallow, but I always felt like a bottomless pit-- I could just continue to eat. And the advice I always got was "to eat until comfortably full, etc", but that moment never arrived. 😅 So, a week and a half ago, I bought a bunch of tallow, and have started to eat 200-250 grams every day (melted in water like tea), and I FINALLY feel properly satiated. It seems silly to eat this much fat, but this is what it looks like when aiming for 80:20 fat:protein. I'm now eating about 500 grams of ruminant meat (sometimes less), and am still working out/super active, high energy, etc. No weight loss yet, but at least I am finding that satiation that everyone always talked about, all with zero white-knuckling/binge cravings.
Best of luck to you in the next months; I hope you are able to not be so hard on yourself, and give yourself some grace as you figure out what works best for you. We've got this 💪

    @Delighted to Meat You
I went carnivore and lost weight I went from 320 to 235 with diet alone. NO EXCERCISE.
    Something to think about...
Mix your protien to fat ratios.
150 lbs = 150 to 170 grams of protein and up the fat to the same.
    Staying in ketosis is critical.
    Fasting is the other critical.
You are then using autophagy to "reshape" yourself.
I have no loose skin and pretty much nothing for stretch marks.
I can go 3-5 days on a weekly fast without much issues and i could blow your mind on the data. I track stuff too.
I have no desire to snack. I usually eat once a day when not on a fast. Higher eating fat also helps with satiety while keeping you in ketosis.
Drink only black coffee, teas, and plain filtered water. Electrolytes such as solei (you make this with Redmonds or Himalayan pink salt and use a teaspoon in the coffee or water to give you needed Electrolytes and minerals while fasting)
Also giving up the caffine can help get you out of a stall in progress.
You can do it. But its strict and fasting with ketosis is the critical to lasting success.
    Weight = density
    Don't worry about the weight.
    It's just a number.
I would rather be healthy than worry about an arbitrary number.
I healed diabetes, skin issues, thyroid meds(20 years on them) and take no meds using this method.
I'd be delighted to help with fine tuned knowledge if you need it.
    Cheers and good luck!
I hope this helps in your journey! 👍🍖🥩

I'm 2 years carnivore and I have experimented alot. I did not gain weight on carnivore as you began to however I do hear from others if that's happening it could be a necessary part of your healing journey. Overall I hear from long term carnivores that it really took them on average 5 years for their weight to settle in a healthy lean spot. I still have 10 to 15kg I'd like to lose but I am accepting this may take a while. Recently I realised I had not been eating enough and fasting was hindering more than helping. So my current method is Be strict but don't restrict volume. This is the first month I've managed dairy free. Your Beautiful and accepting where you are is the greatest gift you can give yourself ❤

Love raw milk. Check out how Lillie Kane videos on her present eating plan. Not perfect carnivore but very sustainable. The most important thing is sustainability. Target weight loss should only be 1 to 2 lbs. a week. Slow and calm is best. Yes exercise is helpful. Resistance training. Never, never compare yourself to others. If you lack will power, that means you are not happy in life. Get happy. Happiness is key. Then the weight comes off. When in Mexico, happy to meet in person and talk about options.

I just started the strict LION diet to help put my auto immune issues into remission and 3 full days in, I’m down five pounds and like you’ve mentioned, my cravings are now in remission going 100%. But I’ve thought of your words OFTEN in the days before starting and since I’ve started and they have helped me SO MUCH. I never knew that a sip of this or just a taste of that or a cheat meal here can bring back all the cravings that have legit controlled me for 5 years! 5 years of trying and failing to start. But I just found out about the LION diet and upon learning more I decided to go all in and do this for a year. I need a year. I’ve never done keto or carnivore to learn how cravings can vanish, or heard that “that one snack” can sabotage you into going all out and that’s me! I go all out and want it all. I’m so happy to take out all the guesses and know I can be healthier and sustained on this Lion diet. Ruminate meats, salt, and water only. It’s been so much easier than I could have ever imagined. Cravings and hunger and over eating has vanished by day three for me. I cheering you on, but wanted you to know that watching you struggle reminds me of my thoughts and feelings and your tips to stay strict and why, are why I’m going strong now at the end of day four. 361 days to go! Your losses are not in vain, it’s for a purpose and I’ve been helped. THANKS. I can’t wait to see you in victory over this. And me too! 🎉

Sorry to hear you struggling. I understand. I'm in my 3rd week of Carnivore, from being a 7-yr whole foods, plant-based vegetarian. You want to talk about hard. Let me just say, what a paradigm shift! Whew! Just watched Dr. Anthony Chaffee's video of Dec 3, 2023 with Dr. Zoe Harcombe - it just cemented more for me that Carnivore has so many benefits. We just have to keep watching the doctors and influencers that have gone before us. Learn from their research and experiences. I learned from Zoe that if you are ever constipated (my hubby always is), to take a 500mg Vitamin C capsule. There is so much knowledge out there. I increased my fat intake in order to see results (wt loss), per Steak and Butter Gal. I would never have done that on my own. We're all learning and seeing what works for us. Best of luck to you. I'm right in there with you.

Punishing yourself with intense/excessive exercise routines will increase stress hormones locking fat cells in their place. If burning fat is your objective go higher fat to protein in your diet, like 4:1, and do long walks for exercise. Relax and enjoy your high fat good life.

I just wonder, have you ever done any sort of body scan or lean mass calculator? Because if I saw you in the street I wouldn’t think you were overweight. You do look more muscular than an average woman though, in a good way, but muscle adds weight too. The other thing is when I go onto pub med and look up low carb or keto diets and weight loss it seems like they are superior in the first year, but people tend to gain weight overtime in comparison to other diets. Maybe because of the depletion of the microbiome as our gut bacteria eat our food too. Have you tried eating sulphite free for binge eating? I love strict carnivore for binge eating but it made me gain weight after a year! Similar to your story. So I added carbs, but then couldn’t stop binging! And I didn’t feel well, my asthma and allergies returned . After doing some reading I eliminated added sulphites and now it feels like carnivore in that I don’t get cravings. I eat fruit, milk, yogurt, butter, meat (no processed meat though), raw honey and have finally lost weight. Sulphites are in all processed, semi processed foods dried, canned, frozen and pre washed. I think Americans call them Sulfites.

I would recommend "snacking" on carnivore things like sardines or bacon, or hardboiled eggs with cheese outside of your two meal a day. I realize it's not "metabolically perfect". I know that protein shakes are not on the perfectly great list. Eating a scoop with full fat yogurt as the chocolate solution. Unrelated to anything that matters, from a (mostly) male perspective, I'm not a real fan of women in bikinis.

Been white knuckling the lion diet for a year which helped some things for a bit but then overall my health was actually starting to deteriorate and I was gaining weight until I recently tried all grass fed grass finished from a local farm with grass fed tallow (because it’s too lean). It’s only been a week and already I feel a bit better and a bit lighter. Idk if that’s helpful but I think that was a significant change and improvement. Maybe the weight loss stall is subtle inflammation due to grain fed meat? But maybe you’ve already tried grass fed. Idk.

I’ve been where you are. A few things helped me over the years. I went through the mental struggles that you’re going through now and that is the worst part of it. I finally got to the point of saying screw it! I am where I am and if I stay here for ever that will be ok. I also had to make myself realize that there are millions of people out there who would love to be the size I was. I also gave up the scale. The scale plays tricks with your head. Go by the way your clothes feel. Make your goal primarily trying to keep your skin condition in remission instead of the weight loss. The weight loss will follow but right now it’s got you in the mental grip and that’s what causes you to trip up. Like you said if you can just live your life and eat the way you know works for you and not worry about the weight it will lose it’s grip on you and things will move in the right direction.❤

At 5’8” I think 160-170lbs is healthy, under that might be too low BF%. It’s important to remember that as a woman you need body fat for hormones. So having healthy hormones means not being super lean for some if not most women.
I’ve struggled with weight loss too, but walking everyday and restricting my calories a bit is slowly working. The scale goes up and down and it’s annoying but the overall trend is down. I’ve found that drinking a ton of water helps 🤷🏻‍♀️
As far as food choices go, I can’t be “mostly carnivore” either, I have to really limit dairy too. I mostly just eat beef. As far as gluten, sugar and seed oils, I have the conviction of “I don’t eat those.” Period. Gluten gives me eczema so it’s a definite no and bread triggers my binge eating like crazy. I had a bite of vegetables a few weekends ago and it made me gain like 7lbs in water weight, crazy. Last weekend my husband made Costco corned beef and I ate it with a few bites of sauerkraut and gained like 4lbs of water weight. So veggies and that kind of meat (seasoned and salted heavily maybe with sugar) are just a no for me. Finding my favorite way to eat beef helps, prime tri tip from Costco and ground beef are my go to’s for liking what I’m eating. 😋

How about doing some extreme fasting? A la Cole Robinson. With electrolyte water. Then back on carnivore and re-feed. Also, just to hard reset your hunger signals, and get used to go long without food. You WILL lose weight that way, fast! You can make it before your birthday. Best of luck sweetie xx

I say you should step away from the tracking but still staying strict, since you know you have binge problems. I think it’s very stressful to track. Just eat til your full and 1gram protein per ideal body weight. I too have not lost weight, but I got so mentally exhausted watching videos and tracking that I felt stressed. I stepped back but now I’m ready to try again.

Allow me to ask a couple of question about the Carnivore diet :
I am now over 100 days into a Strick Carnivore diet (I only eat meat and eggs. Nothing else 400-500 g of cocked meat plus 7-8 eggs a day. Divided in 2 meals) I am now 34 years old, 181cms tall, 180lbs(+-81,5kg) at +-20%BF. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week.(lift weigths to help sustain or increase muscle mass and assist fat loss)
I started the Carnivore diet to improve my body composition. I was a HEALHTY guy with NO chronic illnesses or health problems.
I lost about 15 lbs in the first 6 weeks (Mostly water) but since then I haven't been able to change my body composition. I have now gone more than 6 weeks without registering any body changes (weight loss, decrease in BF% or measurements)
I still need to lose at least another 15lbs of fat to reach my goal of being below 15%BF. However, I don't see how the Carnivora Diet will facilitate this process. I have not experienced most of the benefits common to Carnivores (Improved sleep, more energy/disposition, etc.) nor can I change my body composition.
So I would like to ask more experienced Carnivores:
1- How long should I extend my experience with the Carnviroa diet to be able to lose the excess bodyfat I still have?(at least 15lbs of fat)
2- What is the minimum time you should maintain a Carnivora diet when it is not working for you?
3- When should i just start using the CICO model as a Carnivore?
    Thank you for your attention!

Weight loss. I'm still on the PKD, down to 74 kg (163 lbs) from 85 kg (187 lbs), initially down from 115 kg (254 lbs).
On every 100 g of lean protein, I add 30 g of fat (bone marrow) and 40 g of liver every day. So in total, I'm eating between 380-460 g of food a day.
Surprisingly, I wish I had more weight now. I feel cold when it's below +20°C (68°F). Despite not being allowed any exercise, I'm still losing weight. The mass, the amount you eat does matter.
Protein. Overeating protein not only causes carnivores to gain weight but also has other negative effects. Many carnivore influencers promote the message to 'eat to your satiety,' 'you can't overeat meat and fat', but they fail to understand that for most of us, this satiety feedback loop is irreparably damaged by years of nutritional abuse. For most of us from the very birth. We will always tend to overeat as former carb-gluttons. Thus, only willpower comes in to replace that broken one. An uphill battle.
    Who to believe anyway?
Take a look at Ken Berry's belly; is it healthy? I doubt it. I'm sure he's a massive overeater. Up to now, there are not many people, I guess, who supply good nutritional tips: Sofia Clemens, Kay Bart, and Anthony Chaffee (though he never talks about the amount of food) and Paul Maison.
Food addiction. The concept of food as an emotional manager is well addressed by Rob Cywes.

Dr. Shawn Baker has gone from 220 to 300 then did a cut after gaining muscle to 270#. All of this on a diet of mostly fine pedigree Ribeyes. What is is Visceral Fat level ? He needs to go see Dr. Sean Omara.
I think Dr. Ken Berry is heavy looking. Love to send him to Dr. Omara for a visceral fat evaluation.
Maria Emerich looks eating disorder thin to my eye. She is not the only keto / carnivore/ Zero Carb influencer that looks emaciated.

Best to do the lion diet in your situation. Chicken (even pork) can have lots of estrogen and histamines. Also, cutting out dairy is best for weight loss. For ketosis the blood should not have much blood sugar for at least 2-3 days. If we cheat, the restart can take a week! Excess estrogen will slow down or even stop ketosis.

I understand your frustration. I started a carnivore diet to lose weight and improve my health. but my health got worse and I gained more weight. Everyone tells me to eat more fat and do more exercise because one day, in the certain future my body will show the results. However, I can't have expectations, I just believe in the process. However, it is very difficult to stay positive without having any results like people on social media. I've gained weight, I live completely without energy, feeling unwell, my cycle has gone crazy, I have allergic reactions to everything, palpitations and problems sleeping, this is the carnivorous diet, which is supposed to be the solution to all problems. Yeah... ok.... I'm on this journey in lion mode, I've tried several supplements, different types of meat and I continue to feel horrible and gain weight. If it doesn't work out by the end of this year, I'll try using Ozempic or something like that.

You seem to be one of those people that are just black or white, no gray areas because those gray areas are what get us in trouble. Those gray areas allow us to justify poor choices that negatively affect our health, and we do not recognize it until it becomes guilt over knowing that we became weak and allowed the devil to tempt us and we not stick to our guns. I am one of those people too, so I just know that it's all or nothing for me and realizing that the nothing is far more healthy than the all. All gets me in trouble and sets me back and makes me feel like garbage, my heart act up, my psoriasis flare up, my lupus flare up, and the mental defeat to begin. I've just come to terms with the fact that for 40 years of my life I have enjoyed the "struggles" too much and all that did was lead to misery and poorer health than what I should have. So, for the next 80 years I'm going to be strict, enjoy the strict and embrace it so that I can have absolute health and reverse all this garbage I have created for my body over the past 40 years. Keep it simple, keep it strict, and embrace those victories. I think you've answered your own rhetorical dilemma...stick with the strict carnivore, to keep losing at a steady pace and reaping those benefits, to stay off the meds, and to regain hormone health so that maybe in your future you have a little one to bless with all the knowledge and wisdom you have learned the rough way with making healthy choices from the beginning so that life and health aren't so difficult. 💕

From a neorospychiatry clinical care and research background here. Fellow carnivore as well. You might be among the subset of patients who will benefit tremendously from Ozempic or a GLP GIP dual agonist (to my knowledge, the latter is not available on the market yet but could be expected soon on the North American continent). The indication would not be to treat overweight, diabetes or PCOS, but specifically to reduce "food noise". Although I myself am not troubled by food and difficult with weight loss as you described in your experiences, I want to extend whole-hearted sympathy and support for you.

I've been having the exact same problem. The only way I can do lose weight is on strict carnivore and OMAD, but it's very hard to stick with OMAD for more than a few days. One thing that is REALLY helping me is having my OMAD meal at lunch instead of dinner time. That way I don't need to wait as long after waking up, until my first meal. And it makes it easy to coast through dinner time until bed time because I am already full at lunch.

Hey! I just looked at your video update! First of all, you are beautiful, healing and brave.
I am currently going through just what you are. I I have had a history of Binging /Purging when I was much younger. I am now 62 years old.. I started Keto 2018. I lost some weight. dropped some dress sizes. Became Ketovore about a year and a half ago. Sometimes more carnivore but I stray with seasonings and dairy sometimes.
That all being said, for the last few months I haven't weighed, but I could tell my tummy wasn't as "flat" as it had been and I too have boobs that hold fat.
I just went to the endocrinologist because my A1C has been creeping up (6.0) and found that my weight was back up to almost pre keto weight! Girl, my blood pressure shot up like a rocket! I have low fasting insulin, low c peptide, my thyroid is good , I eat 0 to 20 carbs a day but there is this, STRESS. In the last year, my husband and I have lost 3 parents plus some other stuff....so much, so much, I have had rotten sleep ( the 3:00am thing) .
I told the Dr. everything. He .suggested that I add in some low glycemic carbs. We agreed on some whole fat yogurt, some kefir and a few berries about 3 to 4 times a day in between meals. ( I am usually OMAD) He said that my liver was making too much sugar from all the protein and my body was going into "stress" mode and was storing fat.
This is very different from what I am hearing from all my "Carnidocs". It is confusing but we have to remember no one has really studied people like us for long periods. Keep track of what you do, continue to share. We are in this together!
(by the way, I first started looking at you because of that psoriasis healing. THAT IS AMAZING!
    It's gonna be ok.

Old habits (break times, snack times etc) are branded into our psyche and will flip switches you thought you had flipped off..."if it did'nt walk, fly or swim?, it does'nt go in". With that said forget OMAD, 2MAD etc, fill your tank to the max when hungry, the in-between pangs will reduce in frequency.

I don't know about the rest of you but I think Jen looks great!
I am also having issues with weight loss, but I have been fasting every Friday since February 16. Its been actually really good in the fat loss area and really targeting my belly area while at the same time muscle growth has gone up.
Just a tip I would go full carnivore before taking the plunge it is very easy to fast long periods of time vs. having any kind of carbs in the system which I deiced to do on week two. let me tell you it was very rough compared to the first fast. The third time I wanted to test out this theory went full carnivore again and it seemed so easy to do a 34 hour fast.
Its a good way to rest your gut biom as well. Few tips.

I think a lot (like an absurd amount) about weight and why some people can eat more than me, work out less (or not at all), and be thinner than me. Or why some people respond to caloric restriction and why I my dumb body only seems to respond to extreme carb restriction. I'm a complete failure at this. Anyway, based on the this video, it seems your weight probably responds the most to caloric restriction. The problem being, the psoriasis that carnivore has solved for you. I appreciate the candid sharing of your story and your struggles. When I first found and started carnivore in April 2022, the weight melted off of me and I lost 25 lbs in 60 days. I felt great, it seemed effortless, and i'm confident that the weight would have continued to drop if I had stayed strict. However, later that year I reverted back to a poor diet and quickly gained the weight back. In January 2023 and again beginning in May 2024, I have tried to replicate my initial results with a strict carnivore diet, but was unable to do so. I have found I can lose 10 lbs within a few weeks, then plateau and/or gain weight. With all things being equal then and now, perhaps there was a physiological change within my body that influences the results i'm seeing? I've decided worrying about it doesn't help so I've decided to just "show up" each day, do the work, and lets the chips fall where they may. I wish you the best of luck on your journey.

I suspect you do not consume enough animal fat. Bacon & eggs has the same rough 1:1 ratio as a Ribeye. People typically don’t eat the bacon grease and Ribeye has a lot of fat trimmed to meet the demands of the market place. So 1:1 is roughly 70% fat. If you trim fat and discard fat it is probably less than 60% fat.
Stephenson the Arctic explorer estimated his protein to be 15% when he was in the Belvue Hospital for his year during the carnivore study.
The US Government studied calories in the 1930’s thru 1950’s. Women ate on average 3200 each day. Mind you they were probably 5’ tall. Men averaged 5’6” and ate 3500 on average. They ate a lot of animal fat. Women only ate around 100 grams of protein. Women averaged 123# which would be heavy for 5’ tall if we looked at many metrics. Men averaged 154#.
I suspect your macros need adjusted to have more fat. The reverse diet is a thing. The steak & butter gang promotes Eating a lot of fat. They call it priming. Dieting reduces metabolism.
Milk might be an issue. The lactose could be elevating insulin. This and protein can keep insulin elevated. Thus preventing weight loss.
Has your C-Peptide been tested ? It measures your insulin. If it is elevated that explains why you can’t loose weight.

As a retired psychologist I always connected binge eating to emotional eating. (My take, not everyone else's.) One thing I always suggested was the patient keeping a food diary so they could see the markers leading up to and dealing with a binge eat. Blood sugar can of course also trigger a binge eat. And I really worked with patients to get them to FEEL why they binge ate, e.g. depression or anxiety. Then we could really get to the nuts and bolts of their triggers, which of course led to how they could learn to control such eating. But I think I am telling you what you already know because you are very into stats and research, et al. Simply put, find or remember the triggers and take control over them. You are the master of your mind and body, so get rid of those triggers. You said months ago that you wanted to be held accountable so here's my take on that. Please do not be angry with me...I'm 100% on your side. Be healthy, stay safe and many blessings, Morgan

Have you looked into possibly having an issue with mold? A lot of people who struggle with weight on the carnivore end up having CIRS. I don't know if you've checked out Judy Cho's stuff at Nutrition with Judy but she may be a good resource for you.

This is hard! Between intermediate fasting and carnivore my body has lean into not eating (which I know it’s bad), so in cases I end up extending my fast then when my body tells me to eat I eat. Love your videos! 🤗

Eat to heal. I have been gaining, too, but putting on muscle mass yet losing visceral fat. Apparently, my body is still healing. Was so close to that magic “number” that was probably based on women with no muscles. I feel great. Look much better. Flat stomach. I have stopped jumping on the scale because it only measures one thing. Here’s to your health!

I’ve been following you for a long time and was very inspired by your psoriasis healing and shared your story with so many people. But I’m really confused now. You keep saying carnivore doesn’t work for you, yet when you did World Carnivore month in January, IT DID WORK!! So it does work, but I think it’s a mental thing and you WANT other foods so you justify it by saying carnivore doesn’t work so then you can add other things back in since “carnivore doesn’t work” then why not?
You mentioned several times that maybe it’s a mental thing. It sounds Iike classic sugar/carb addiction. And carnivore takes that away for you, but you still say that’s not good enough. I think it’s an addiction and you keep looking for ways to justify adding in non-carnivore foods or carnivore foods that hinder weight loss. It’s like another carnivore influencer who has been making carnivore videos for a long time and has lost weight but very slooooowly. But she puts tons of cheese on everything!! No wonder why it’s been a year or two and she still has a bunch of weight to lose - she is carnivore but clearly not making the right choices for weight loss. But then again, maybe she is fine with losing weight very slowly, and all the cheese keeps her going. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So if that is the case, then great!
Anyway, I hope you find what is right for you. Your psoriasis story is such an inspiration and I’m sorry I won’t feel comfortable sharing it with others anymore (only because it would lead to confusion and doubt about the effectiveness of carnivore if they followed your whole story. And I think working out twice a day is not great advice and certainly not sustainable for most people, so I wouldn’t want to share that if you do start doing that and posting about it). I hope you find that “magical” thing you are looking for and it all clicks and the pounds start to melt away. You have worked hard and deserve happiness and contentment. I pray you find it! 💕

I feel like we are the same person. I have mild psoriasis and I weigh 184. Been carnivore 2.5 months and I’m stalled.

First of all, you are a beautiful woman. But, I absolutely do not think you should give up trying to achieve 155. Here’s a thought that’s way out there and not something that I do myself, but are you familiar with Dr Sean O’Mara and his protocol of eating a wide variety of fermented foods along with meat? He is a huge proponent of a healthy microbe and maybe it’s bad bacteria that’s driving the cravings. Like I said, I cannot vouch for this myself but perhaps something to further research.

I had your same weight gain no weight loss issues, I saw a carnivore Dr and had a proper full panel thyroid test done and my T3 was low, been taking T3 for almost a week and I am 1 kg down 🎉🎉🎉 you have pre existing auto immune so you should definitely check your thyroid
