Really sorry about the audio (cracking and desync). Can't bring myself to make another video to replace it as it won't be organic. Consider just listening to this one and not watching. Again, apologies.

Goodbye Suboxone Hey man just wanna give you some of my experience.
      1. You said in your first video “Some people are doing this in jail” and cringed. I just want you to know jail makes it much much easier. The whole mental aspect gets taken away along with 70% of mental anxiety. Lot of the anxieties you feel in withdrawals is knowing you can end it at any moment but in jail your just kinda forced to make it happen and there for you don’t think about it half as much.
      2. The way I beat PAW was because in jail I joined a bloods workout 🏋️‍♀️ crew. I went in at 125lbs and came home 160lbs in 4 months. I never felt that good in my entire life. I could bang out 50 push ups on the spot like it was nothing. It truly cancels out any PAWs
P.S- I should mention I told the nurse at the jail I was detoxing of Xanax (I lied) and they put me on a 2 week klonopin taper so I’m guessing that along with having no choice made it almost easy and that was a 3 year 10 bags a day heroin addiction
Now I’m back stuck on Suboxone extremely depressed and I can’t seem to beat it at home on my own..

@@fairwell4456 I agree. Being locked up can be helpful since it removes the option to get more. I just cringed at the idea of going through the pain inside a cold, uncomfortable place (which I have done myself in a south San Francisco jail).
Thanks for sharing your experience my friend. I wish you the best.

Goodbye Suboxone - Thanks for all these videos - I have watched them several since jumping off suboxone at the end of October. I am 4+ months in and struggling with extreme anxiety and fear. I jumped from 8mg after taking suboxone for around 8 years. I never struggled with anxiety until I quit suboxone. I have started seeing a psychiatrist (at the urging of my therapist). He is trying to find a medication to treat my anxiety and it has been trial and error for 2 months. At my last meeting, my psychiatrist said I shouldn’t still feel like this 4months out. I am afraid I will never improve. Part of me just wants to come off all medications. How was your anxiety throughout the withdrawal process? Am I crazy for still having intense PAWs? You are one of the few that I have found who jumped from a high dose like I did. Thanks for your feedback.

@@growingpains9324 hope you were able to stop. One day you just have to wake up and decide I'm not going to put anything unnatural in my body anymore. There's no easy way through it but you will get through it. It's a light at the end of the tunnel, eye on the prize type of journey. What helps me is when I do feel ok somedays, I don't lie to myself and say this is it im better. Just be grateful, know bad times will come again and learn to deal with them sober. Eventually you win the battles faster and easier.

I hate seeing so many people go through this. These days the best tool for getting off Suboxone by far is Sublocade. And as far as addiction, I personally believe it’s psychedelic therapy, and I hope it becomes more available soon.
Kratom almost always ends up being a bad choice for people, but I don’t blame you for trying it, many people do. Everything in hindsight.
People may not realize this because there is such an addiction stigma, but more withdrawal just creates more trauma. Sure that trauma helps us stay off these drugs, but I don’t believe it’s necessary to see the light on the other side.
But yeah if anyone is looking for help, ask your doctor about Sublocade - you get a few injections max and then its half life is so long that it comes out naturally over time without withdrawal. You adapt to the doses dropping much easier because your dose is 100% bioavailable and gradually decreasing over time.
Kratom can work, but it seems to only be effective for this in the very short term, similar to how Suboxone could be a good bridge off opioids if any doctors ever prescribed it this way.
In my personal opinion, the ultimate way out of opioid addiction would be this - use suboxone as a bridge off opioids, stop within a couple weeks max. Get talk therapy with an addiction specialist immediately and stay in therapy for a couple years. Consider psychedelic therapy specifically to rewire the reward pathways away from using drugs to feel better and back to a baseline. It’s like being born again.
I hope my comment can help someone. Hope you’re doing better these days man, no judgement from me, I hate that you had to go through so much, same goes for everyone who tried this way.
Also generally after a Suboxone taper, people can expect to feel better 14 months after the jump. Which is horrible and almost undoable without therapy or SSRIs. Sublocade is the kind of medication that you adapt to along the ride, so many people feel back to normal 5 months after their last injection. Something for people to consider.

    • @PubG17778
      @PubG17778 ปีที่แล้ว +1

You're exactly right about the 14 months. On Jan. 4th, 2023, it will be 1 year since I jumped. I am extremely depressed, can't get any pleasure, and am on 2 different anti-depressants that are not helping with my low energy level. It's been a nightmare; I felt better at 3 1/2 months than I do at 11 months. This withdrawal has no end in sight, I think I did permanent damage, and I pray that I feel better at 14 months. I'm now taking naltrexone because I heard it can help lift the PAWS depression. It's only made me feel worse but I've only been on it for 3 days, so we'll see. I used Kratom and alcohol for the first 6 months then jumped into a rehab because the withdrawals from the Kratom and alcohol, combined with the suboxone PAWS, made it impossible to function. It's probably too late in the game for me to find a doctor who would give me sublacade. But it sounds like a great idea. I wish I could try the psychedelic route but I have no idea how to go about all that without getting ripped off by a scammer. Anyway, thanks for pointing out that 14-month mark. It's giving me a little hope. Take care

Today is Day 1 taking Suboxone from getting off of kratom as a user of 6 years. My withdrawals are very severe. So I enjoyed watching these videos. I relate to them on a real level.. it’s very very difficult from what I’ve gathered also, if I can get off Suboxone as quick as possible once my brain has adjusted, the sooner the better. I don’t want to be on Suboxone long term as I see a lot of other people’s videos having a hard time getting off. I certainly don’t want to trade one addiction for the other. it’s been some time since you’ve updated and were taking kratom here so I’m very curious. I really hope you’re doing well!

Looking good brother. Your videos have been very helpful. I'm tapering off suboxone. I started from 16 mg/day now i'm down to 0.16mg/day. I've been tapering really slow (over a year) and so far no major withdrawal. Only minor stuff. I don't feel good, but i don't feel too horrible either and I can handle it. I Dissolve a 2mg suboxone pill into 36 drops of water and i take 3 drops (0,16mg) i'm planning on dropping down to 2 drops in like a week. Would have never believed such a small dose does anything, but it really does.. I feel very sick in the morning before i take my small dose. Hopefully soon I'll be free from this medication. Thank you for your helpful videos.
Ps. I couldn't drink coffee because i would get anxiety while tapering, but i started taking it with L-Theanine. Now when i take it it calms be down and helps me focus. You get no anxiety/jitters if yo utake it with L-theanine.

Just super scary thinking we’re never going to feel normal, motivated, social, energetic without something touching our opiate receptors. I’m 18 days off subs. I work from home and struggle through some small exercises. But if I have to leave the house to go to a soccer game or see family and friends I have to take 2 g of kratom still. Just sucks feeling like life is passing me by. When I was on 1.5 mg of subs for a few years I was very social, motivated, energetic, athletic. Hiking 20 miles through Yosemite etc. now it’s tough to even leave my house let alone go on a date or something without kratom touching my opiate receptors. I’ve been taking lots of supplements and I so think the gaba and dopa supplements work very well.

While I respect Gabe's opinion, I will also say that not everyone is able to get clean from Suboxone (much less any opiate) on their own. I would certainly try and find help via a rehabilitation center, or a support group such as NA or AA. If you try and try, and nothing seems to work no matter how hard you fall down, then perhaps at that point it would be appropriate to consider other options such as kratom.

My father nearly died and was in a coma for 2 months one year ago and I was able to be there for him the entire time until he woke up. I have gained back weight which was much needed and I now have a 2 month old baby girl who means the world to me.

I am here to tell an honest story, live and uncut. Kratom is NOT suboxone. I just had a baby girl and my life is better in every imaginable way thay it was on subs. I would never want to be your only source of hope...perhaps just a small piece of motivation at best. Don't look for others to be your foundation. PS, that whole "oh you just traded one thing for another" nonsense is what we all have drummed into us in rehab, AA and NA. It CAN be true. But it can also be a majorly unjustified generalization. Life is not black and white. There are gradations of good, bad and ugly. It important to be open minded and read between the lines. Otherwise you will forever be an "all or nothing" type of person and that can be tragic.
Again, wishing you all the best John.

Lots of really naive “kratom is just like coffee bro” comments in these sorts of videos. Keep telling yourselves that…
For those thinking kratom is some harmless plant that is sooooo easy to quit, I highly suggest you take a visual walk through the posts at quittingkratom on Reddit. For those who feel the need to countersignal me and defensively defend your drug of choice, go for it. We all enjoy evangelizing others with our addict denial…until we don’t. Kratom is a tool just like suboxone, and it has its place for sure, but stop spreading room temperature IQ propaganda from 2006 as you are potentially doing much harm to desperate people looking for easy solutions. As a former true believer in all the pro-Kratom idiocy(and a 9+ year user who is still struggling to get free of the green demon), I strongly encourage those of you that are thinking about using it to be wise enough to remember that there is no free lunch. Best of luck to everyone.

Just now seeing this comment for the first time. "Credibility"...that made me smile to be honest. I never made these videos for cheap clout or cred. These were made from the heart to try and share my experience. It is very plain to see that less than 1% of people who are on opiates long term (let alone suboxone) are ever able to free themselves. This isn't a pissing contest. It is a fight for our lives against a power much stronger than our own will. Most people in my situation stay on subs forever, go back to hard street drugs, and end up in jail, OD, or commit suicide. I live a wonderful life with my family. I was able to spend 2 months with my father who nearly died 2 years ago after heart surgury and was in a coma for 2 months. I was able to care for my 14 year old pitbull who lost all use of his back legs for an entire year. I also just had a beautiful baby girl 2 months ago. As hateful and as ignorant as this comment was, I still wish the person who left it all the best. I have been where he is. Bitter and hopeless, looking to blame everything on others. Nobody who has ever gone through what I have would ever make such a statement.
I wish anyone reading this or watching my videos peace and happiness.
