What a beautiful watch. I just ordered one today. I have about 8 other G-Shocks and this will be the most advanced and expensive so far. I doubt I'll buy any others. This one pretty much can"t be beat!

I scared the heck out of myself the second day I had it...had absentmindedly left it on the hood of my vehicle to charge in the sun (thinking "how could I possibly forget about it if it's right there on the hood?") Welp, guess who forgot about it and drove off a mile and a half before he realized what he had done? Yep, this guy🤨. So I quickly doubled back, found it 6 blocks from my starting point. Other than a very minor blemish on the plastic of the face, it's unscathed. Thankfully no cars had run over it😂. Thanks again!

The Gulfman in this style is discontinued or only sold in Japan. The all black one is fairly cheap however finding one in this coloration for under $200 is hard to find. If you can find it under $200 then I suggest you buy it.
Just found a Japan piece for about $175, I think U.S. version was about $145. ...And you're right, you can get hooked, over 35 years they have so many models not to like something. 😉 Received the watch yesterday, beautiful watch, my complaint is that store that sold / sent it to me did not have it in the nice high quality presentation box, not even one of those neat little tins, it was in one of those lowest level cheap boxes like a < $20 watch on the plastic display stand & mailed in a non supportive bubble envelope that looked like it almost got stuck in a sorting machine and tried to come open - just glad it didn't get damaged.

Hey, just wanted to say that I picked this one up for 115 at my local Sam's Club and its great, it was on display and it was actually the last one in the store. Just sharing some good news.
I no longer have this watch (not because it was bad, someone wanted it so I sold it to them), but from my memory it's more or less sitting at around the same size.
"I'm a real physical guy you know, I go to the gym.." Bro at 90% of the gyms I've ever been to at least 50% of the people are sitting on their ass on their phones or struggling to bench 185 for a few reps, two plates on the bar would crush them... there's the treadmill only, there's the talkers who move all around the gym yakin but never lift, there's the out of shape skinny guys who think they're in shape just because they walk into the gym door 3x week..... just a heads up, going to the gym doesn't mean sh*t... It's what you do in the gym... go off by yourself do your own thing and train hard Society is so brainwashed about the two words "the gym" these days... At 280 lbs, you could tell your coworkers you're going to "the gym" while gaining more weight and they would commend you, then stop going to the gym while losing some weight and they would tell you you need to go to "the gym" to be healthy... I see it it's all the time, the only reason for entering the gym doors is to tell others they go to the gym 😄 Gold's Gym is the only gym where you don't see as much of the other nonsense... Less clowns. I'd rather you'd said " I work as a landscaper" or something if you're trying to prove your physicality... at least tell us you can put up 260 on the bench.. I wear mine all the time I've got dozens of G-Shocks, but the Gulfman is one I love to wear because you won't find any other clowns wearing it like you will the square G-Shocks for example.. I often choose the gulfman over my rangeman, frogman, mudman, Etc... Gulfman is extremely comfortable too. Like you very correctly stated, it annoys the hell out of me to hit buttons when I bend my wrist which happens all the time with the Rangeman.. Good review
260 is heavy for some, a warmup for others. Not trying to showcase workouts here, only pointing out the fact that the watch remained very comfortable to wear while working out and that was something I enjoyed; some watches can't do that. Also, not a landscaper or anything like that. I've spent 10 years out to sea, 3 of which were spent underwater, but I did not have the Gulfman with me, so I can only mention my personal thoughts about the watch based on the experiences I did have with it.
