    Orange is best known for its loud, high-output classic amp heads and extremely popular Terror Series mini tube amps, but over recent years the company has significantly expanded its offerings.
    A great example is the Crush PiX Series combos, which quickly became some of the best-selling practice amps after their introduction.
    The new Orange Crush 35RT combo is an extremely affordable-but-versatile Crush Series amp that does away with digital multieffects in favor of a simpler control layout with classic performance features, like two-channel operation.

      I’m going to be learning songs from groups like Led Zeppelin, Journey, The Who, the Beatles, AC/DC, Bon Jovi… is this a good amp for that kind of quintessential classic rock tone in your opinion? I keep seeing reviews that say “stoner amps” and how this is the perfect amp for alternative rock but I do NOT like alternative rock at all.

    • @DH_Artist
      @DH_Artist 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@user-iy7ub8gn3w I’d say it’s really decent for classic rock with a bit of blues sound to it.

    • @SisterRose
      @SisterRose ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@user-iy7ub8gn3w thing is "stoner sound" is pretty retro - it's basically a retro sound driven further. the RT seems to be more based on vintage Orange which will definitely be good for the likes of Led Zepplin. Just keep the gain low if you're not into the Stoner/Doom/Alternative thing

    • @Da_Publick
      @Da_Publick 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SisterRoseBut it doesn't have low Gain. The volume drops to almost nothing when you turn the Gain below the halfway point. I saved two reviews where it happens because I couldn't believe Orange did that.

    I absolutely recommend this amp.
    One of the things I love the most is the possibility to use it as a speaker ( hose smartphone to amp ) and to play the guitar over the music.

      You can also bypass the amp and use it as a cab with a different amp head/multi fx unit. The speaker on the amp is fairly versatile so with mic position you can get many tones

    I just got one and I will say this thing is fantastic. The tones at low volumes are probably the best I've heard. Maybe the most fun small amp to play through ever? And I've had them all. However, I wish it was dead silent. Most other solid state amps have zero noise when turned on. This amp compresses your signal ALOT too. So Orange, if you could fix 2 things I'd love it not to compress so much and silence it! Next version please!

    Tenía el amplificador Orange 35ldx y lo cambié por el modelo RT, es un gran amplificador para practicar en el cuarto, un buen sonido limpio para trabajar con efectos y sobretodo por el loop, la distorsión incorporada da sonidos de rock N roll hasta fuzzeados más heavy, no está para despreciar, se banca decentemente un ensayo de Rock, siempre y cuando el volumen del conjunto sea razonable. Estimo que poniendo un mejor parlante mejora la perfomance, buena compra.

It also has one more jack in the back with no label. Its to the right of the footswitch jack so there four jacks there instead of three. I have watched a few video's. I have a 12 watt Orange solid state amp. This video doesn't do these justice, and this sounds good. You have to hear the amps in person. You're not going to get the heavy metal gain that you get with a Blackstar or a Marshall, or even with Orange's own Dark Terror series, but you get a great classic rock tone. Plus it cleans up nicely.

      @@kostantinos2297 i went with the Orange 35rt. Its a beast. Great cleans and great dirty channel. I just bought a Fender 4x10 Hot Rod and its honestly too much and im here in Texas where we have alot of space so i dont worry about neighbors.

      It is good but i heard it has lotta feedback noise when playing in dirty channel, if you also consider buying a noise gate think about it. if you want something for practice at home look for vox vt20+ or vt20x, if you wanna gig with it go higher wattage for vox, also boss katana 100w is good.

      I have the 60. It will get plenty loud for most gigs. It is a great sounding amp. Clean or I use it with just a little dirt. Speaker is a Clestion knock off I think V30 maybe?

    • @motorrebell

    I have this thing and honestly this video doesn’t do it any justice, you have to hear it with a tube screamer...I use the od808 and if I turn the dirt past 3 (with the gain appropriately at 9-10)
    I could do a show at a small venue...for the price...idk if there’s a better combo, & I’ve had a few...

      Now fender amps have cheap distortion. It literally sounds like theyre under water. I have a mustang 2 amp and the distortion is terrible. Orange amps are way better
