going to post the matches in a separate video over the weekend, so look out for that also hunter x hunter next week. sorry I couldn't really post stuff while I was away, got some stuff to work on for y'all coming up. look forward to it! (also pls subscribe) edit - side note but the footage they recorded is just that quality before anyone asks
Back assist and forward assist will call out your partner for their selected assist. Neutral assist is used mid combo to use the tag launcher that takes away enemy recoverable health.
There's an official how to play video from riot that explains the mechanics better than the majority of youtubers/pros. There are also a ton of errors in this video.
unfortunately I am not a master, hopefully there will be more opportunities I haven't been going out of my way to go to events with the game, but I'll try to get as much time as I can ;;
@LordKnightfgc it's all good! I'm sure you got your hands on the game and the goal was to experiment and have fun! Keep at it, looking forward to seeing your content.
Thanks for doing a breakdown of your experiences with 2XKO at EVO Japan! I think I understand what you mean about the 2x Assist groove vs the 2x Tag groove, though I expect the lab scientists to come up with absolutely despicable nonsense using both. I am excited to watch more of your matches, and to see your coverage of other games from the event!
I'm really glad they went with two button for dashing rather than making a separate dash button and finally another fighting game that doesn't use the anime fighter run slide but can't block system.
@@user-km7yr8wl6q Simplicity. I already have my strongest fingers over the L, M, H buttons at all times. If there was a separate dash button that was MANDATORY to dash, it have to be like the pinky finger or force my thumb to reach weird. Otherwise this game gonna end up like SF6 where everyone wants 30 buttons for every possible action cause of how critical DI, DR, and parry is.
I love the video bruh. But more importantly, I want to let you know you looking especially vibrant, my brotha! I see you! Tell these folks to get they skin and hair care game up, my man! Bless!
SonicFox might be unto something, they are good at spotting potential where others don't. Just like how they picked Leo in GGS at the beginning when everyone thought he was bottom tier. And now a Leo won Evo Japan
It's actually the opposite. Longer matches demand more consistency out of the players, which is counter to a comeback system. More the game becomes swingy, more does the less skilled player have a chance to win by a random swing connecting.
And ekko has an air hop I like that they're making it more character specific, but I hope we get close to if not over half the roster w expanded air movement
Ya obvi this is subjective but I personally just can't really get into games without universal air dash or air movement; it's just the freedom of movement that is one of the things i enjoy most about fighting games. But obvi some ppl r the opposite and hate games that have air dash so it's really 2 each their own on that
@@LordKnightfgc That’s fair, I just worry there being grooves that barely anyone will use that much of making them effectively worthless to most. Every time people get their hands on it for a while now all have said the same thing, barely anyone uses the other two grooves. Justin did get second in that one tournament using DHC groove when everyone was invited to play. I know it doesn’t mean much but it’s something that opposes what people have been echoing. There are lots of characters still not in the game though and not infinite hands on the game yet. So perhaps more will be found out like usual when it does finally come out. I do like the groove system though drastically changing playstyles.
personally, I am just turned off by the long combos. as someone who plays smash and greatly values the fact that I can interact in a combo, the fact that I have to watch a cutscene is insane. I don't care that there's a burst, once that's gone it just becomes a cutscene
@@sirtoxic5147 Not talkign about shitty ultimate. I like melee. Were teh combos are long but at least you can always play the game with SDI, DI, ASDI, instead of needing a burst to be able to play
Look I don't wanna come off as some kinda riot apologist, but how are they not interesting? Just out of these six, you got a dude that constantly time travels 3 seconds at a time and a huge lady that smacks you around with ghost tentacles from a sea god.

Thank you for actually explaining the mechanics of the game. I've seen a bunch of impressions videos but they talk like we've played the game already

What are the advantages of 2 button dash vs dash macro? From what I understand, this game has both.

Sf6 is entirely possible to play with just the 6 buttons. People choose to use more because double button is more effort
really enjoyable video. super excited for this game to come out

Could you do a breakdown on Slayer or his trailer.
Hahaha haha, about how much he hates him?

Best video about 2xko that came out from evo japan!
The game looks really fun.. hope i get to play it in an upcoming beta :)
Can u give us your predictions for roster based on League?
I hope they show Katarina soon
How do you like the game?
"Let's go" just does not hit the same as "Let's rock!"
Parry costs a bar but it refunds it if you successfully parry
dude you really look like michael from lost lol
The return to tag games?
Post day 1 as well!!!
might do a poll, it really is chars just standing around mostly doing nothing/whiffing buttons while we are talking with one of the devs lol
Damn got here so early that the video quality was bad, time to wait a bit before watching
Long fights are better more chance for a comeback and both players hopefully have a chance to play

I just want air movement
depends on the character, Ahri has an air dash
And ekko has an air hop
I like that they're making it more character specific, but I hope we get close to if not over half the roster w expanded air movement

Air movement = anime game.
There's a certain stigma people have with anime games. Which strive managed to buck the trend, for some reason.
ahri/ekko
How to cancel the movement? Is the button moves is same as marvel vs capcom?
seems cool! i really hope that this game gets popular enough to make money, or it will get killed like the card game
Groove system should be reworked if no one is really using two of the 4 grooves.
The game is on day -500 I think it's fine if people haven't optimized in an offline location play test.
like I said, even though people weren't using a couple, I do see how they could be good. Especially Fury.

Hello, game, I should practice at the moment to prepare for 2xko
you didnt clap twice at the end, you ok?
idgaf about your nerd games drop your skincare routine
If it's not better than tekken, don't bother
The grooves feel very restrictive. other games just give you all 3
Feel? You've played the game?
@@dragonic22 no. but they still fill like a restrictive choice
I think most fighting games don't give you enough health
Having multiple buttons for special moves as a deal-breaker

The most important thing to me in a fighting games is characters. Riots characters are completely uninteresting
