Hi Rick!❤ well that place was creepy! I’d never ever go into a place like that. It makes me scared even thinking about it. I’m a respiratory therapist but I don’t know what those colored drawers are. Hell I didn’t know what anything was in there. All I can say is be safe
The colored drawers matched the colors on the hazard identification signs. Red is for fire hazard, blue is for health hazard, and yellow is for reactivity. Also, the drawers are out because it has been Standard Procedure that when a military facility that might contain classified or dangerous materials, to leave all the drawers to show nothing was left.
This place was very creepy but also very fantastic and I love it. I love the creepy vibes that these places give off. There was a bunch of people working through there and in there, and now it's empty.
@thestars386 in NJ on an old military base that was abandoned, there was talk of a secret underground rocket facility. Some young urban explorers dug out 50 feet of dirt and got to the stairwell and they filmed the 3 levels that were not flooded. There were at least 3 more levels below that were flooded. The ceilings were 20 feet high and the facility was the size of a Walmart The contractor who was hired to pour concrete and fill in the facility and the stairwells and elevator shafts didn't use concrete. He took the money for all the concrete needed to fill 7 Walmarts, but he just brought in a couple loads of dirt and dumped that in the stairwells and elevator shafts. All official requests for information on the underground facility were replied to that no underground facilities existed on the base. The Department of Defense still denies that an underground facility is there, even after the urban explorers sent a copy of their video digging out and exploring the facility. That is HELLA-STUPID to deny something exists that people sent you video of it " Nothing to see here. Keep moving "
Just so you know, that whole entire place was actually very terrible when it was opened and used. They did more damage than they did any good. They did some f***** up s*** in that place.
yeah someone added spike protien to lentivirus to create aids and spread it thru the 1978 heptavaxx program to gay men and sex workers, the fact this place was closed in the 1990's is even more suspicious like they were covering their tracks
Loved this one! Especially with the storm, made it extra creepy. Those black circular doors are used in darkrooms too, they keep the light out. We had one in my printing class way back in the day where we developed negatives
Great explore as always. This place gave eerie vibes with the rain in some of the footage. 0:490:51 It always seems like a lot of these places went down in the 90s, my time. I visited an asylum that was shut down in 1999. But most of the buildings on the campus were not used through the 90s, it was only certain buildings. You could tell which ones they used in the 90s because of cameras being put on. The rest of them sat their dilapidated with no updates. Keep up your great work.
Your thumbnails have really improved over time, Rick! 👍🏼 May I ask what software you used to make the thumbnail for this particular video? That's not also Final Cut, is it?
When you asked about the wooden TVs yes my neighbor had one it was like a whole cabinet. It would basically take a crane to go through the whole house and pick it up and pull it out of the hole that you put in the house to get it out.
The thing you thought might be a “gas chamber” is a fume hood, and it was likely inside a laboratory room. The fume hood offered ventilation and sucked fumes or smoke products up and blew them outside.
The circles are the reactor those round things in the one room are reactor cores ... would have been good to bring a geiger detector...the cores would have went down to the flooded level they used a Chicago style pile reactor with bricks rods etc back then...and those dont seem to be typical autoclave I believe they measured radioactivity...the theater may have been used for presentations and lectures...
The large conference room on the second floor of Building 40 was long informally called either the “War Room” or the “Roosevelt Room”. The legend among the WRAIR staff was that in the months before the US entry into World War II, when President Franklin Roosevelt wanted to have military and cabinet meetings away from the eyes of the press and public, he would do so there.
You may want to get a better mask the n 95 doesn't really protect from all the stuff in urbexing scenarios.. a respirator would help you a lot more... Even though they are a pain in the butt.

This was one of the best hospital explores I've seen.
Somone should put an underwater camera down the set of stairs.
Brooooo that's a fantastic idea 💡
yeah no ones found the decommissioned nuclear reactor yet LOL
Great explore as always!❤🎉

Thank you 🤗
The sub levels go down 7 stories
They don't put the floors on the blueprints
So many facilities exist that no proof exists for their existence
Sublevels are wild because they just continue to go basically under the basement. I like your wording on the last part of your comment. Well said.

@@ocsrcWow, that is very interesting. I'm actually from Pennsville and Glassboro New Jersey.
Wow 7 floors? That's deep.

Bro thumbnail is on POINT🔥 loved every second of this
What a glimpse into life when we were living with the fear of Cold War and the preparations for the fallout. So scary.

Ahhh thanks, I was looking for answers on that.
Yay a new rancher Rick video ❤ you like that room for the windows 😊

@RangerRickTV Thanks, bro. 🙏🏻
Is this in US or the Sternberg US military hospital in Philippines?
US
Hi Rick ✌️
Hiiii
Very interesting video. Why not redevelop, maybe a new hospital?
When you asked about the wooden TVs yes my neighbor had one it was like a whole cabinet. It would basically take a crane to go through the whole house and pick it up and pull it out of the hole that you put in the house to get it out.
Hahah yessss
You like that Room because it had Windows
The rotating doors are to keep light out of a dark room, usually used for developing film.
I can’t imagine what kind of experiments and horrible things took place in that facility.
Ikr!
Horrible for those poor animals 😢poor babies
The thing you thought might be a “gas chamber” is a fume hood, and it was likely inside a laboratory room. The fume hood offered ventilation and sucked fumes or smoke products up and blew them outside.
Natural light is the best !
Indeed!
I think i'd rather sort dirty laundry from a cheap Motel barehanded, than touch anything at a facility like that 😆
Haha right?!?
The Spin Room is for Photo / Film Developing...
Peeling paint.
Rick- welcome to Washington DC
The WRMC
Jmmy you good 500😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

Rick windows for light💙💦✌️
Packard! I happen to have a Packard Radiochromatagram scanner. @14:20
Hope your weren't exposed to residual radioactive radiation in that creepy hell hospital.
Lol right right.

They worked on tropic diseases mosquito borne pathology dengue fever typhoid... Nasty nasty stuff there... Along with radioactive testing...

Walter Reed building 40 did a lot of scientific research for the govt including NASA
Scans back then used film like cameras the doors prevented exposure of the films till they could be developed and protected the technician.

11:34 the lighting, the windows. ⁉️❓⁉️❓

You never know what you are going to find in these places
Good thing you didn't get locked in any of those rooms lol. place is huge!
It wouldn't be fun to be locked in there!
