Having watched content from the big TH-camrs such as half ass customs, puddin’s fab shop etc, your video is just as interesting and entertaining! Well done and keep up the good work. Also, from experience, if you need to use your office chair a lot, get yourself a set of rubber wheels with bearings (with the wheels from inline skates). They make moving around so much easier and quieter!
Love this build, best of both worlds. Old iron with modern convenience and power. I'm hooked on your channel already. Also skipping through the mundane tasks makes for a better video to me. You do that, and I like that. Good job on your 57 swap.
This is amazing! My daughter is an Orthotics patient of yours and my wife came home telling me about this! We are the Satterfields. Ill catch up on the other videos soon and i look forward to more! One thing that might help with the tire clearance in the back is using springs from a “Z71” tahoe if the Tahoe you used wasn’t a Z71. They are 2” taller than the normal tahoes. But this will obviously make it sit a little taller in the back. You would probably want a leveling/small lift kit in the front to get it to sit level again if it lifts it too much in the back if you tried it this way!
My favorite projects are the old body on the newer model sub frame power train! Pls never say you're sorry for an injury. Wobble all ya like brother it's the work not the webble. Your good in my book!

Lots of memories. My first Chevy was a 63. I still remember the day I crawled into the cab pull the choke, and it fired. I was excited to hear the engine run, the old straight, six. I broke a horse for a guy in trade for the truck. I was 15 and I loved every minute of that experience.
Doing the lords work. I tried to get the folks at ez chassis swap to make a channel showing full tutorials on all their options. I have a 56 that I've been procrastinating on over this issue.

Such a cool build. I saw 57 a few days ago at the grocery store. I had to take a few pics. It was a 2wd tastefully lowered with rally wheels. I had to tear myself away from it and get into my 2001 chevy 🤣👍
Really liked the video, for the rear end they do make axle offset plates. You can slightly move the axle. Should be able to close up the bed gap a bit.
This looks like a lot of fun. I've considered this on a few vehicles. Just to many projects and only one old man. I'll check out e-z chassisswaps and mebey be motivated. Great job on the video. Thank you. Sure is a honey of a truck.

Nice build. I'm thinking of doing the same build, only 2WD. Already have the Tahoe. Now I'm looking for a nice 55 body. Is the kit listed on ez's website? I didn't see it.
That looks great! Funny thing is I have access to an 02' Tahoe and I was looking at a 5 window with an 8' bed ( I believe it is a 52'). I just went over to EZ's site and see they use a S-10 for the earlier style pickups, BUT they do have an 8' version. This type of swap is what I too would like to do before I die also. I have CHF and am 64. I found an Avion slide in camper that looks like an Alaskan Camper (aerodynamic aluminum) and is the reason for needing an 8' bed.
